A nice park, we were there just overnight. Thought they could use more gravel. It had rain recently and the area was muddy and the driveways were muddy.

Family vacation/trip. Mr. Kelly was so agreeable and his crew takes such good care of the grounds and 'check-in' lodge. The site was exactly like advertised. Lots of hand waves from the patrons and people there. The most satisfying was the quietness after dark.

First time here, and we will be back! Nice, nice, nice! Space was bigger than most KOA spots, more trees which have it a more camping like experience. Loved it!

Town was under a boil warning , hosts forgot to mention that to people coming into town. I don’t think I need to say more

We have our own private water, we do not use town water we are in the country. We have nothing to do with town water or operations and we had no notification from the town nor would we expect to.

Need to be more flexible with early arrivals and consider people's travel situations. If the campsites are empty let people come early. 2 young employees who helped us we're professional and helpful.

Asked to fill up our propane tank at check in. They said they could only do the fill up T 5:30 PM. I’m not going to unhook and come back up front!�

Nice park, but sites are VERY narrow. I don’t like the fact that the picnic table is about the width of your front yard.

We stayed here years ago while in transit. We were so pleased to find this gem of an RV park again. The folks who run this place are wonderful. Next time we plan to extend our time and enjoy this tranquil stop on Blue Lake.

got there at 1230pm ; lady ; we could not check in till 300pm ; so we went out to our RV to wait ; the lady come out and said we could NOT wait I ask where could we wait? she any pace but here on the property like WOW I ask could we wait at our site if it was open ; she said NO not till 300pm ; I said fine and that I was not going to argue with her so I left;; Y Y Y ; so we came back at 305pm

Check in times are set for a reason, so we can do our work to keep our campground beautiful for our guests. We do not have space for RVs to sit and wait.

Did not feel welcomed upon arrival. Abrupt, inexperienced teenager checked us in and nearby adults not any more friendly. No activities for Father's Day weekend & price for site was very high for location of park. Not a bad park just not a good experience.

Nice level lots!!!!! Owners very attentive. Wonderful, relaxing, fun. Paddle boats could use some updates. The backrests don't stay upright & support the back so it was hard to peddle & see where we were going at the same time. Lol

Drove over fire pit tired to get out of park before anyone noticed, blamed us for it when he drove halfway through a site. Wanted to check out late originally said 1 then changed to 3 later.

Too many rules that were difficult to do such as parking on the grass. When it says laundry is open 24 hours but was locked at 8pm. They did unlock it for us until we finished the load that had been started. They seemed unfriendly and like they were watching us. Just felt uncomfortable there.

Loved this campground. At check-in, we were moved to a site with a view of the lake. Level, pull-through with full jook-up. Mature trees and the breeze made it quite comfortable, even on a blazingly hot day. Will stop in again. Look around Onawa, a sweet town with a fabulous library.

Site was too narrow for our rv. We couldn’t open our slide all the way because it was hanging over the neighbors picnic table. They even moved it closer to their rv but it still didn’t help. There were other sites open which were wider. We were there for only 1 night so why switch. I do think they employees should know their sites better Bathroom was locked so I didn’t go into check.

Staff were all very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating. Campground was kept up very well. Our site was perfect with a great view of the lake. Quiet and peaceful was what we were looking for and found.

Very nice quiet place to stay overnight or longer. Just be aware that check in times are later than usual. We didn’t realize however they kindly checked us in early.

The park was clean and well maintained except for the dirt roads. There were some potholes and maneuvering was difficult. Prices in the store were predatory.

Easy access to campground. Didn't hear alot of highway noise-none with a/c on. Nice view of lake. Quiet & all guests were kind and courteous.

Requested a shady area. Response. Your spot will get shade at some point. Bad customer service. Sites not level. Not much there. Many long term campers.

Clean restrooms, nice office, grounds could use some work as they were very weedy and grown up and very buggy. The lake view was pretty and the hosts were very nice and accommodating.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time in July 2021. We have been back multiple times since! I was worried after reading some reviews as people were complaining about strict rules. We didn't find it strict at all. Everyone we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful. I tend to ask a lot of questions but never once was I shut down or felt like I was a bother. The lake is beautiful and reminds us of much longer trips we used to take to Minnesota. Campground very well cared for, cleanest restrooms we have ever seen/used at a KOA. The pool was kept perfectly clean and was so enjoyable. The RV spaces are very well spaced out, beautiful shade trees for my hubby who can't do the sun! Both sets of my kids and grandkids came out and had the best time! New dog park for my furkids and wonderful new playground for kids. This was an amazing place, and we hope to be going here for years. Thank you.

Typically, we don't stay in KOAs: we camp in the back of our pickup, with two mattresses in the bed and we don't need hookups or electricity. But since Lewis and Clark State Park campground on the other side of the lake books up very early for the summer season, we ended up reserving a tent site at this KOA. Our stay was pleasant enough. The site was right on the lake, with other simple campers (a family in a tent trailer) right next to us. No problems with rowdy behavior or noise. Restroom facilities (toilets, sinks, showers) were clean and well maintained. There were lots of huge RVs in the other parts of the campground, crammed in very close together. We were glad to have reserved a tent site.
