I was put on an RV site. I'm a tiny camper. Had to move to a tent site to take a shower. Went to Spinreel. They get a 10.

Was told no fires upon arrival, yet campers around us were using the pits at night. After couple of nights, asked at the store," oh that was lifted 3 days ago",guess communication isn't part of the service. Otherwise good experience as usual, yearly vacation for us. Suggestion, while offering a BBQ is a nice touch, please make sure it is functional, ours had burner tube rusted out badly,2 yr in a row

Great facilities. Friendly staff. Quiet at night. Lots of improvements to the campground since our last stay. Loved it! My only complaint is the dust that the crazy ‘Quad Caterpillar’ stirs up for hours when we we’re trying to cook dinner and enjoy our evening. Had to move the fun inside because of all the dust outside. Lose the caterpillar! Looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen!

Fantastic place with great staff

Not being dune buggy people, a little dusty and sandy for us. I can see where family's with kids and dune buggy's would love it-personally, loved watching sasquatch driving kids around. People nice and friendly.

We were given miss information about the availability of services. Specifically we were told we could use showers since we did not have that in our rig. When we arrived we were told no by some employees and yes by others. We were unable to shower during our stay but noted others did. Very poor service we understand prices are going to 85.00 a night. Way to much for quality of cites or service.

This was our second stay at this campground, and like the first one, it was very pleasant and we had a lot of fun. The staff was great and the grounds are very well maintained. Thanks again! We'll be back soon.

Long ride to the dunes. Wears tires out very fast.
Aug 29, 2020
Tent sites were completely sand or rocks, difficult to put in any stakes. The sites are also very close to each other with no barriers between. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were nice, but the bathrooms (both men’s and women’s) were out of toilet paper for over 12 hours and staff kept saying they’d “refill it later”. Also many guests weren’t wearing facemasks inside the store.

We had a great time. Very clean and friendly staff

Unique
As always a wonderful stay. Many new upgrades since we last visited! Staff is always kind and inviting, making it one of the reasons we have always loved the Oregon Dunes KOA!

Clean park, friendly staff. A little pricey(location, location, location!). Perfect for access to dunes and beach.

I had reservations in a particular spot wheni got there I was removed I chose the spot because I am disable the new made it very hard I have been going there for 7 years with a very large group its very unlikely we will be back I don't wont this to sound mean but when I book a spot I have a good reason

Overall great, the trees need to be trimmed back next to RV's. The night guard (reminded me of Barney from the Andy Griffith Show) during the week was very active and kept harassing us about our fire. Otherwise, it was good.

Showers are limited by Covid,9:30 am- 6pm, by appointment only. Earlier in the day would be helpful.

Great facility and so much for kids to do as well. The access to the dunes is great and thats what we were looking for. We can't wait to go back!

Awesome service. Our front desk representative was very kind and helpful. Even though the showers were closed due to COVID-19, the restroom facilities were VERY clean! The grounds were very well attended to as well.

Nice people, a lot of dust, best campsite for all ATV related activities

Great stay! Can’t wait to go back.

Campground is clean and well kept but price is a little high at $91.00 a night for weekends.
Aug 24, 2020
The park is run down. The office staff has a very hard time re- booking your stays for the same dates as you have been booking for years. We used to be offered the same time each year when we checked in. Many people have been complaining that the staff has made them change dates because after years of coming on certain weeks of a month their site is booked for someone else.

it declines every year, falling behind on maintenance and cleanliness. rented the "high" end cabin only to discover it had no a/c in 90+ weather. have previously stayed in econo cabins and they even had a/c. this is truly not nice to do considering the price paid, literally went home 4 days early due to not being able to sleep in the inferno. in addition, complete dust bowl. all grass has died.

Great place and friendly staff

Wonderful stay! Very family friendly! Our camp host Steve (not the owner) was AMAZING!! Very nice & so great with the kids! Everyone loved Bigfoot Hour, where he dressed up in his Bigfoot costume & gave kids (and some lucky adults! Haha) a ride around the park on the “train”. Great stay, great riding, all around great time! Staff kept park very clean & all were friendly Cant wait to go back ag

Bathrooms were dirty, showers were restricted to tent only sites even if you did not have a self contained trailer and had to pay more for the trailer sites. No discounts for lack of amenities due to COVID, yet full campground. KOA Store was dirty and overpriced substantially. Overall, has gone downhill since new management took over; more for the money and less for the experience and family.

This was the smallest space I’ve ever camped in and it forces you to camp with strangers. I left two hours after I got there. I had already set up camp and tried to make the best of it, but I drove off and slept in my car instead of staying at this campground.

Reason for the 3 star is that the tent sites are the FARTHEST from the bathrooms. Also, we had to make an appointment to take a shower (there were 3 of us) they opened 1 shower. I thought maybe it was because there was lots of demand for them. NOPE, no one else had them reserved, so I stood outside till I could take a shower with the 1 they opened.

dusty place, atv's go in and out up to 10pm at night. great if your riding them, not for everyone else. staff nice, great location, just dusty!

It was very nice. The staff were very friendly.

New owners have taken over and are money hungry. Our group rented 6 campsites, 3 cabins and a caboose for about 5 days. The campground has a no outside wood policy and apparently now mean it. They claimed that they make money on the wood and can't afford to have people provide their own wood. We spent upwards of $4,000 in site fees and were heckled numerous times for firewood throughout our stay.
Aug 22, 2020
Booked my stay only had dry camp which was confusing cause they said had water and power no sewer so ok I’m fine with that get there they moved me to a smaller spot that my trailer wouldn’t fit but they got me into a full hookup site

Best location for Dune access and rental equipment. It is an off road vehicle park not recommended if you just want to RV or rent a cabin at the beach. Cabin we rented was clean and well equipped. Staff friendly and park remarkable quiet. Expect sand you are in the Dunes.

Everything was great other than not be able to use the shower/amentities. We stayed in an RV site to be next to friends but didn't have a fully equipped RV. Didn't know of the shower situation until we got to your location. I even tried to purchase a tent site (the requirement to use the amentities) and was denied. The kid activities and security are the only reason I the rating wasn't lower.

I’ve been coming to OR dunes for over 20 yrs, ODKOA is one of our annual trips. Nice access to the dunes. I like the camping cabins.

Please fix your speed bumps. Years now and still hear people hitting their hitch. And quit given kiddie rides in the campground. It dusts out every campsite!

This place is the spot. Can't beat it for riding in the dunes.

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
