I arrived late, but site & registration info was left for me outside. I pitched my tent under a tree which survived the big rain storm with minimal damage. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and accessibility of the HCP bathroom and shower. Bravo!

Great set up being so close to the dunes and ATV rentals! Just wish there were more tent sites so there could be more options in picking spots!

The kids loved the train rides and the driver was so friendly and went out of his way to make sure the kids had fun. Friendly staff and they worked hard to keep the common areas clean which was very nice. We are looking forward to returning next time. Thank you for the great camping experience.

This was our first camping experience in a while. We had no idea that it was completely based around ATV’s. With the ATVs coming in and out at all hours we got no sleep. I asked front desk if we could leave early and get a refund. The answer was no. We packed up and left anyways. This is a great campground if you are an ATVer.

Just overnight there and didn’t have much time to look around but the restrooms were not up to the standards in the evening but was clean in the morning.

The late night guard was so nice, had my campsight papers ready for me when i got there late. She even drove the cart to show me ware my sight was. Very nice place.

The tent site was right next to the 101, so all you hear all night is the sound of trucks on the highway. There is also no separation between the sites, so the other noise I heard all night was the sound of my camp site neighbors snoring very loudly. You have to be issued a token to take a shower, which was extremely inconvenient as I was a late check in, so had to wait until 9 AM to get it.

Friendly staff but be prepared for dusty conditions (& noisy from ATVs) due to the location. If you like to get dirty this is the place for you.

Great place for kids! I found the campground wuiet and relaxing. Sure, there were wuite a few atvs but at night things were peaceful snd restful.

Generally clean, great options for the kids, good common kitchen. Sites were level and clean. Bathrooms ok. Most trash cans were full at 6:30 pm when we arrived and still full 9 am the next morning. Laundry hours were unfortunate. We stopped simply for the night and to freshen up (showers, fill and empty tanks, charge electronics, do laundry). Were unable to do laundry. Won’t return

Didn't get our shower tokens like said. Had to go remind them about the wood I bought. Then you have a kid area for the kids to ride. And a man trying to argue with my son his bike was bigger then said. And the sign says 13 AND UNDER!!! my son is 13 and was learning to ride his new bike which was NOT no 400 or 450. Well be finding other camps to stay in.

The activities available are great and the camp kitchen is a helpful addition but the cleanliness of the bathrooms and customer service was very poor. The bathrooms were largely unusable bc they were so dirty and they weren’t cleaned at the time posted.

I would have liked to have had the person who checked us in give us shower tokens, especially because she knew it was my first stay at this KOA and other KOAs don't have shower tokens. By the time I realized I needed them, the office was closed. Everything else was great.

I ended up leaving without a refund 15 minutes after I arrived. Worst campground experience ever. I'll never stay at a Koa again and I was a loyal customer.

They have a ridiculous shower protocol where you have to sign up for showers and are issued Tokens which allow 8 minutes of shower time. No one told us about this protocol when we arrived. By the time we went to shower they left for the night so we couldn’t shower. They were inconsistent w/ the protocol & allowed one family to take up 3 showers and my family had to wait. I will Never go here aga

Gr8 spot for ORV enthusiasts. Front desk gals perfunctory and barely polite. Not service or customer oriented. Hid in the “back office” and I felt like I was bothering them to ask where the bathrooms were. ORV bizness next door had great folk- enthusiastic friendly and loved their work. Serving customers

I booked my stay online. When I showed up the offices were already closed and my envelope with spot info was not there. Ended up not staying tried calling to cancel my stay but no one answered. Another thing that I did not like it was the only KOA of the four others that required tokens to use the showers. I am very pleased with other KOAs that I've stayed in but not this one.

Too many potholes on entry pathway. Car bottomed out on each of the three speed bumps even though crossed them at extremely slow speed.. Store closed 30 minutes early so not available for us. We were the only campers on January 5th. Too cold and rainy this time of year.

The stay was nice. Spacious tent site with water and electricity onsite. 3 starts because : 1. The office closes early ( 5PM). Registration cards will be kept in a box outside with your name on it, but in a dark rainy evening it is difficult to find the campsite. Cant purchase firewood after 5PM too 2. One set of common restrooms for the entire site. They were clean though .

It was dark, quiet, and restful in my tent site, exactly what I needed. And I appreciate the manager coming to my site to check on me after my arrival. My concern is your map is confusing to read; I recommend make it less busy, and highlight the office for better orientation.

Horrible experience! We arrived at 645pm for a one night stay and no one mentioned the shower scheduling policy and no one was in the office so we didn't get showers. Also the internet policy of having to sign up for a free trial through a third party is ridiculous. Lastly there is no quiet hours enforcement and we were kept up all night by people drinking, shouting and playing loud music.

Under normal circumstances this KOA has a lot of amenities and access to activities for kids. However, the dunes were closed, and despite checking in at 7pm and only staying 1 night, we had to pay $47 for a small tent site with no privacy. No staff enforced quiet hours and we had children run through our camp at 1030pm, a drunk lady talking loudly and playing music until midnight. Not enjoyable.

We got there and they told us we could not use any propane to cook so we only stayed 2 days in stead of 4 .they charged us 218dollars for two nights. When I booked my stay on line it was 209 for 4 days.when I talked to the lady in charge she was very rude and said there was nothing she could do about it. Also they closed the dunes. Was not good at all

I stayed the night the fires started all over oregon and just a few miles away. I woke from a nap in my tent to ash falling through the air. There had been no smoke when we arrived. I told my husband we should go and find out what we could about the fire in the area. we were under level 1 evacuation and they wouldn't refund our money. Thumbs down.

Tent sites were completely sand or rocks, difficult to put in any stakes. The sites are also very close to each other with no barriers between. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were nice, but the bathrooms (both men’s and women’s) were out of toilet paper for over 12 hours and staff kept saying they’d “refill it later”. Also many guests weren’t wearing facemasks inside the store.

Showers are limited by Covid,9:30 am- 6pm, by appointment only. Earlier in the day would be helpful.

This was the smallest space I’ve ever camped in and it forces you to camp with strangers. I left two hours after I got there. I had already set up camp and tried to make the best of it, but I drove off and slept in my car instead of staying at this campground.

Reason for the 3 star is that the tent sites are the FARTHEST from the bathrooms. Also, we had to make an appointment to take a shower (there were 3 of us) they opened 1 shower. I thought maybe it was because there was lots of demand for them. NOPE, no one else had them reserved, so I stood outside till I could take a shower with the 1 they opened.

I ENJOYED THE STAY I STAYED AT TENT SITE 2 A FEW WEEKS PRIOR AND IT WAS 10 OUT OF 10 AND 5 STARS FOR ME JUST THIS TIME WHEN I WENT THERE MY LAST TIME I WAS IN TENT SITE 55 AND THE GROUND WAS JUST LIKE SUPER LOOSE DUSTY DIRT AND IT WASNT LIKE THAT IN THE TENT SITE 2 IT HAD MORE HARD PACKED GRAVEL AND SOME GRASS TENT SITE 55 WAS JUST REALLY DUSTY AND DIRTY IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF THERE WAS GRAVEL

I was not impressed with the covid 19 health standards during this pandemic. It was posted everywhere to wear a mask to enter the store, restrooms, laundry room, bounce pad but no one was wearing one and it was not enforced to. Felt like they didn't care about the safety of others and that they didn't want to upset anyone and hurt their business. The campsite was fun for the kids.

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
