Love this place! Can't wait to come back. what fun and family friendly place to stay and have access to the dunes right from your site.

We love it here. A little pricey and charge for kids over the age of 13 but we'll come back and stay. There's lots to do. A park and a jump pad for the kids and a train ride for all ages. My 6 year old loves it here.

Just overnight there and didn’t have much time to look around but the restrooms were not up to the standards in the evening but was clean in the morning.

Staff were very nice and accommodating.

We rented the lodge for 5 nights, wich is a house that looks like a log cabin. The staff was friendly, but the lodge was disgusting. The second I walked in, all I could smell was rodent. The tops of the blinds in the windows were chewed on from the rodents and there was rodent poop in the window sills and in the kitchen cupboards. We feared using the dishes. Theres more but it won't let me write

Love it here . Be back next year and thank you

Easy spot to stay as it is right off hwy 101. The showers were very nice. You were out of coins so I got to take a nice shower. Loved the dog area where we could let our pup run freely. Thank you

Loved having ATV access to get to dunes and beach. Family/friends had an awesome time riding! Only bad thing was hearing the traffic from 101. Campground was nice and had everything we needed. Would stay hear again!!! Thank you for keeping it clean & fun.

If you are only staying one night and not here to enjoy the dunes, then the ATV/UTV traffic will probably disturb you. However, if your intent is to play on the dunes (which I highly recommend), then the location is perfect. The staff was friendly, and we had a great time. Will definitely come back to play again.

Sites are crammed together, weeds everywhere, dusty, septic lids aren’t threaded and are ten feet from your front door. Not impressed. Long trek to get to dunes.

Great stay as usual. However, the cabins were pretty dirty. We love staying at the KOA though.

We were quite disappointed it had a horrible smell of urine. Blinds on the sliding glass door was half missing we had absolutely no privacy and had to hang up a sheet. The carpet up in the loft and down the stairway and in the master bedroom were disgusting & had to be swept. Couch smelled. There was rat poop in loft by one of the beds. Lots of rats outside and we’re in the BBQ. Dirty and smell

AAAA++++ Thank you, Jon & Deb.

I didn’t like that when I arrived at 17:30, I wasn’t allowed a token to shower until the next day. There were 2 uniformed employees helping me with my arrival checkin at the office, yet it wasn’t possible. No community amenities, lounge, breakfast area, etc, and the price of $63 was steep. KOA has an amazing reputation, but this one is on the lower end of their quality scale.

I'm not a fan of close quarters full hook up camping but it has its place. My kids and I were racing in a local event and needed a place to stay and fortunately the Oregon dunes KOA had an open space. After reserving a space for Friday, I found that we needed to stay a second night. I called the host who got us a second night even though online reservation said they were full. Very helpful staff.

The people were family friendly and worked hard and kept the place up even tho they were understaffed.

Attendants were rude.

Was fun watching all the ATV's coming and going. Dog park was close to us. Clean grounds.

The campground is perfect for access to the dunes and beach and the facilities are nice and clean. The only downside is that some sites are even with the RV’s septic and it’s very hard to get it to drain.

They let chicken out in are camping site . I’m not a chicken fan . My dogs & I had to stay in are trailer & did not get the outside part of camping due to farm animals let loose in camp ground !!!

So the campground is nice overall but the cabin we rented was disgusting. First of all it was $600 a night and it was a 2 bedroom 2 bath grand house they call it. The outside was very dirty and it looked like the floor mat had never been cleaned the inside was even worse. The blinds had been chewed by mice and there was mice poop on the window sills. The fridge and floors were filthy as well.

This was our second time and we have enjoyed both stays! We have kids and they love the wreck hall and jumping pad. The site was clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly! We are already coming back in the fall!

It would be a 5 rating except it is annoying to have to pick up the shower coins daily. Why couldn’t the guests be trusted with them at the time of checking in? ( One day the office already closed before we could get ours ).

Friendly staff and nice facilities

The tent site was right next to the 101, so all you hear all night is the sound of trucks on the highway. There is also no separation between the sites, so the other noise I heard all night was the sound of my camp site neighbors snoring very loudly. You have to be issued a token to take a shower, which was extremely inconvenient as I was a late check in, so had to wait until 9 AM to get it.

They were really lacking due to lack of staff
Aug 11, 2021
Bathrooms were dirty, again. Wreck hall bathroom out of toilet paper and garbage overflowing for days. Really feels like the "ORV-centric" nature of this KOA lets all other aspects of the campground be forgotten. Our cabin smelled like someone had a fish fry in it. Really like this KOA but the overall experience has gone downhill over the years. Bring back ice cream social!
Aug 10, 2021
Even though they were under staffed, the staff was helpful and friendly. We love this KOA and enjoy every stay every time.

If you don’t own a dune buggy or have children do not stay there. Very noisy and dusty.

The campgrounds were clean and well monitored. There was plenty of things for kiddos to do, but $4.00 for a bag of ice is a bit too high.

Staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. Campsites were roomy and clean. This was our first time here and we'll be back

This place is the spot. Can't beat it for riding in the dunes.

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
