Campground is clean and well kept but price is a little high at $91.00 a night for weekends.

The park is run down. The office staff has a very hard time re- booking your stays for the same dates as you have been booking for years. We used to be offered the same time each year when we checked in. Many people have been complaining that the staff has made them change dates because after years of coming on certain weeks of a month their site is booked for someone else.

it declines every year, falling behind on maintenance and cleanliness. rented the "high" end cabin only to discover it had no a/c in 90+ weather. have previously stayed in econo cabins and they even had a/c. this is truly not nice to do considering the price paid, literally went home 4 days early due to not being able to sleep in the inferno. in addition, complete dust bowl. all grass has died.

Wonderful stay! Very family friendly! Our camp host Steve (not the owner) was AMAZING!! Very nice & so great with the kids! Everyone loved Bigfoot Hour, where he dressed up in his Bigfoot costume & gave kids (and some lucky adults! Haha) a ride around the park on the “train”. Great stay, great riding, all around great time! Staff kept park very clean & all were friendly Cant wait to go back ag

Bathrooms were dirty, showers were restricted to tent only sites even if you did not have a self contained trailer and had to pay more for the trailer sites. No discounts for lack of amenities due to COVID, yet full campground. KOA Store was dirty and overpriced substantially. Overall, has gone downhill since new management took over; more for the money and less for the experience and family.

dusty place, atv's go in and out up to 10pm at night. great if your riding them, not for everyone else. staff nice, great location, just dusty!

New owners have taken over and are money hungry. Our group rented 6 campsites, 3 cabins and a caboose for about 5 days. The campground has a no outside wood policy and apparently now mean it. They claimed that they make money on the wood and can't afford to have people provide their own wood. We spent upwards of $4,000 in site fees and were heckled numerous times for firewood throughout our stay.

Booked my stay only had dry camp which was confusing cause they said had water and power no sewer so ok I’m fine with that get there they moved me to a smaller spot that my trailer wouldn’t fit but they got me into a full hookup site

Everything was great other than not be able to use the shower/amentities. We stayed in an RV site to be next to friends but didn't have a fully equipped RV. Didn't know of the shower situation until we got to your location. I even tried to purchase a tent site (the requirement to use the amentities) and was denied. The kid activities and security are the only reason I the rating wasn't lower.

Perfect for ohv riders.

It was just a bummer not being able to have camp fire.

Please fix your speed bumps. Years now and still hear people hitting their hitch. And quit given kiddie rides in the campground. It dusts out every campsite!

Poor layout and not for anyone that is not staying there for the dune buggy experience. No WiFi no showers no sewer dump way over priced. Would not recommend staying there.

Always a great time here

The guys who run the kids around on the rides are awesome friendly and safe, the maintenance guy went above tracing us down at the new camp site to return an item we left in the last- some of the female workers can use a break to maybe lighten their mood or take some pointers from the chill guys- lol

Found the accommodations to be easy to get through, trees provided shade, the activities die the kids were great. Wish I had more time to check out the zip line. See you next year!

This was our families 2nd camping venture at Oregon Dunes Koa. The staff are the friendliness and sites are all above average. However, they are way too expensive! Not sure why they are priced that high. Oregon state parks are 1/2 of what they charge. I’d like to stay there again but may need a second job...

Great time as always! Nice and dirty! Dang COVID though messed up the ice cream socials and chuck wagon! Oh well next year! Also the rides provided to the kids (big and little) were enjoyed by all. Kudos to Steve; the driver while we were there.

We love staying at this KOA. Great access to the sand dunes and very friendly people.

Get rid of CNN bad news.

The gravel around the campground was really dusty! The road to the dunes was really hard on the sand tires/ paddles!!

This review has been removed by KOA due to profanity.

Most amazing staff. Everything was as expected.

Excellent location. Campground was pretty quiet for having so many off road vehicles. Store came in handy and everyone was very friendly.

Nice spots that were able to fit our 42ft trailer. We were traveling south from Salem and made a last minute reservation. Looks like a very fun place if you have dune buggies and kids to ride. Very family friendly. For us, it was just a stop along the way. It was very loud by people @ 6:00am so that was a bummer, but if I was going to hit the dunes I would be up that early too.

Nice place for your family to stay and ride to the dunes!
Aug 10, 2020
Not a normal KOA by anymeans. It is where dune machines stay. The front office was a little up tight. Like they don't like there job. Not to friendly. The dude driving the little RZR around giving rides in the train was very friendly. I'd probably stay there again due to there not being much in the area with full hook ups and dune access. Make a sand road for atv's in the park to the current sand

It was great just crowded with all the dunes just reopened.

Good full hookup sites for access to the Dunes.Very busy campground. but great for what your there for. Riding!!!!!!! Bathrooms were clean and the staff was great. Would go again.

Just be prepared for copious amounts of dirt, sand and noise. If you're not the dune climbing off roading person or family I would not suggest but if it's your bag go for it! The sites are gravel but nice. Most families are respectful and they have tons of fun!

We were visiting the Oregon dunes for the first time and even though we are not ATV or dune buggy owners your campground was so diverse with the activities that it did not matter. It was so enjoyable and we can not wait to bring our family next time. Although we have a camper our grandsons will go crazy over staying in 1 of you lodging options. Thanks for the memories, see you soon...

It was a quick stay but we really enjoyed how easy it was to pull into our site. The young adults I had with me really liked the jump pad, tetherball, and cornhole... we will be back next Saturday!!!

Great koa only if you are into riding on the sand dunes.
Aug 08, 2020
I stayed at the KOA for approximately nine days the people are great really really kid friendly they do their best to accommodate you I have plans going back there in October if I can and would definitely stay at the KOA I would recommend if you have kids to stay there they do their best to accommodate them and you

Great place to stay, fun for the kids especially the train ride! Staff were super friendly!

Very nice, crew was very helpful and informationable. Grounds where kept very nice

The staff in the office could have been a little more friendlier, we are very careful with our speed through the park and try to be respectful of others but one of your staff chased us down and proceeded to yell at us for not abiding by the speed limit. There are numerous other riders that pass us so I know we are going slow. Your staff member could have handled it a better way.

Assigned worst site. Terribly dusty, dirty. Not allowed to use showers. Was told they would have to clean after each use. I paid for use of showers, I expected to use them. Look at the covered wagons. The white tops are brown. Pathetic maintenance. Will never go there again.

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
