Waited 15 minutes to check in as both clerks worked to correct the account of man ahead of me. Countless rules unenforced during our stay. We were near a large cabin occupied by 4 guys who were loading trailer from 9pm until well past midnight making a racket the whole time. ATVs coming and going all night, past 10. Dogs were off leash throughout the facility and owners didn't pick up after them.

The original site we were put in was not in good shape. Finally we were allowed to move and that site was great. The office staff was more concerned about closing on time (6:00 pm) than making sure campers were in workable sites.

The Pacific Northwest was going through a blistering heat wave, so we altered our plans and drove to the coast for cool weather. We were fairly warned at check-in that this KOA is “dusty, dirty, and noisy” because it draws a crowd looking for excitement on the dunes. We stayed anyway, and while it was as advertised, it was still a pleasant, cool stay. Thank you!

All staff was rude need to learn to treat there customers a little nicer! I've been to a few KOA'S and the staff is always very nice and helpful not this one!

The staff needs to be more friendly office staff is very rude! The only helpfull ones where the 2 maintenance workers on the weekend. I thought all KOA'S where supposed to be supper friendly not this one. We asked if we could stay another night the office said they were full nope sorry can't help u. Got Online there was a few spots still, so my advice don't call or ask get online its way easier.

very very accommodating. Great people. On a weekend like utv takeover, it is hard to put up with some people but they rolled with it.

The ATV convention was not pleasing with AVTs running all day and night into the early morning hours. We wouldn’t have stayed here if we knew that ever was happening. Very minimal store with provisions. An average KOA overall with gravel pads and a ton of soft dirt to kick up and get everything dirty.

Our stay was short but it was very nice. We will be looking for more days to book with you because this is where I grew up. The check in staff was courteous and helpful. The grounds were clean. We only had one neighbor behind us that were a little loud because they were drinking, but my husband asked them nicely to quiet down and they did after the second time.

The dog play area was FULL of poop. The park said they had WiFi well i had to call the number and they said that I'd only get it if I was by office. We weren't. I expected ATV noise after quiet time, I would have been ok with that, even though it said if they were caught after 10pm they would have to push ATV back to camp. That didn't happen! All bathrooms and showers were closed and wasn’t because of covid. Our “pull through site” was a sideways spot and could barley reach the plugs in for water and electric. People around us were encroaching in our campsite which gave us no room. We did like that you could ride straight to the dunes from the campsite.

The camp ground we stayed in Lincoln City was much better maintained and the showers were open. They had a little breakfast cafe and the store opened earlier.We weren't there to ride in the dunes so I guess it was more suited for that type of crowd. The families with kids did enjoy your facility

The KOA Dunes in OR does not represent what I come to expect from a family friendly organization. It condones racist harassment and lacks the courtesy to return phone calls and the professionalism and courage to take action, apologize, or make amends. It’s unworthy of its KOA affiliation and I encourage other potential guests to stay away. Not recommended for minorities.

We liked the unique character of the camp geared towards Motorsport enthusiasts. However when we arrive, there was no sign of our reservation and obviously nobody cares about some basic night protocol with music blasting until 1AM. Reading from the comments after the fact, it is well known but left unaddressed.

Stayed 4 nights and loved it. Quiet nights easy access to dunes. Store had everything we forgot to take. Steves ATV near by looks like they have everything one could need. Pond fishing peddle boats playground full hooks all staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay next year

Super great place for our family to meet up and have a blast. The staff is terrific- the place is super clean. Really great fun for my grandsons to be able to play.

We always enjoy our stay. Just really hard to get reservations unless you book a year in advance because of all the outer staters.

Didn't need but the fact that you had no showers was really unacceptable for those who need. Also asked for recommendation for a seafood restaurant and person wasn't able to give one.

Just alright. I thought KOA’s were more high end. I’m usually a boondocker or budget RV park. I was not impressed. Advertised zip lines closed due to staffing. Showers for tent campers only (we have a cabover w/very small shower). Noisy kids riding dirt bikes around camp for hours. No one available after 5pm. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Was a great location for riding.....but I think it’s ridiculous I couldn’t shower because I had a RV. Showers should be open to all campers like every other campground.

The area wasn't clean. Chicken running in the campground. No kids activities are open except the jumper. I think this place need better landscaping. It's not an RV parking, it should be more attractive so people can come and enjoy their vacation.

Always a great place to stay! the staff is friendly and helpful. Delivery of wood to your space, a train ride for the kiddo's and a track for children nearby. Easy access to the dunes. The spaces are easy to get in and out of, some with nice patio's and all have a fire pit.

Our stay was good until the last day when we went to leave. The septic tanks under our trailer backed up and there was poop water and toilet paper all over our stuff! All over the tie downs, blocks and our atvs. My husband let the office know and they brought us some bleach water and poured kitty litter on ground but other than that didn’t seem to concerned. Not sure we will be back.

I’ve Been coming here for 4 years like clockwork. Multiple times per year with a group of over 40 people & 10+ Rigs. Hasn’t been to bad until this time. My wife and I have Received TERRIBLE service with MAJOR ATTITUDE from Lynzee!!!!!! Our water went out in our Motorhome so we wanted to OBVIOUSLY use the Showers at the KOA just like we did earlier in the week at the Medford KOA. UNFORTUNATELY

Great place, a little dusty but everyone that worked there were awesome and friendly. If you ride atv/utv or anything this is the place for you. Lots of friendly courteous people.

We always try to stay at this KOA when we visit the dunes, really amazing people doing a greater job with this campground. They keeps things tidy and always go the extra mile. We always recommend this KOA to our friends and family!

The place is the best on the coast the staff are the best in the business. People you never knew as friends will help you in any way possible if you have problems with your toys. I thought i was out of luck riding my sandrail but out of the blue comes help and they saved me from going home early. I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me fix the toy. Its unconditional love really . Thanks

The camp ground is always very clean and great staff. The spot we had was probably the worst one there it was so small that could not have a fire because the pit was two feet from the trailer. But over all its a nice camp ground. I think that spot 43 is the o ly one like that as far as I could see

Very friendly staff and family oriented. It's not just camping, they also have cabins and lodges. One of the biggest and best KOAs I've ever been to and directly on the dunes!! Unfortunately, they can't find enough employees to do a lot of the fun stuff they normally do like the zip line, paddle boats, ice cream socials, ax throwing contests, etc etc. Of course these are more summertime things and hopefully by then they will have enough employees to make it even more fun. But a very nicely kept property with people always around to help if needed.
