The staff is great. The campsites are much to crowded because they are so small. Our trailer isn’t a large one by today’s standards. Also, the creek running through the campground is swift and deep but there is no barrier of any type which will eventually end in disaster for someone. With the sites so small, campfire smoke from each camper gets quite strong. Not my favorite place to stay or K

It was great except our cabin had so many bees flying around that we couldn’t enjoy much time making dinner outside. But beautiful place and very nice staff

I reserved a 90 ft pull thru site. I ended up only taking a 45 ft rig. I checked in and they gave me site 94. I was hanging out in the road behind and in front of me and so close to the camper beside me I had to offset our slide out to miss the other campers slide! No way that site is 90 ft. I complained to the person who parked me and that person said they were a police officer so be quite. BS

Nicest KOA I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to a bunch. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient location. Restaurant on site.

We have been coming to this KOA for years. Great location close to everything we enjoy. Good level RV sites. Like the service for trash, firewood & ice pickup/delivery. Liked improvements to the office. Bathrooms were clean but at the end of the day need attention & siap. Cafe on site but currently very understaffed which creates long waits & food quality suffers.

4th time there. wished the sites had not been so cramped together. campers crossing thru my site. stayed 9 nights in tent. needed daily rain to keep road dust down. restroom was cleaned in the middle of the night. upgrades make it pretty swanky. with so many Texans, should seriously consider having picante sauce available. Kevin and Christine were great. helped with cell dropped in puddle.

Great campground! awesome setting. breakfast food could be better but the coffee was great. and everyone that works at the camp is super cool!

It was awesome! The staff (especially Troy) was amazing and helpful. The restaurant was fabulous and we so enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms were always so clean. We’ll be back!

Very disappointed!! Too many sites crammed into every little place. Our tent site (88) was terrible!! All Dirt and lot of road noise, next tent parking was only a few steps from out tents, main campground road was dusty and other tent side were bad too. Had good bathroom and employees were nice and helpful - KOA puts small tent sites through out when should have a “tent area” since you

3pm check in is ridiculous, $20 to check in early, $15 to dump if you don't have sewer hookup, and our spot was at the front where everyone drives in and out. Constant dust, the noise and people parking in front of the spot. Bar with live music was fun, location is OK. Better campgrounds closer to Ouray. Nice place, but bitter taste on fees, check in time and spot. Would stay with better spot.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A special thank you to Ilka and Harley who are always especially pleasant and very professional. The KOA restrooms and laundry area are very clean. The trash is always attended. We camped with the stream behind us, very nice. Great location. Highly recommend this KOA.

We had a great stay . Was my daughters first time staying there , we enjoyed the site & surrounding places we visited . The staff were all friendly & nice . The hot tub on site was great !

I know there are big changes still to be made. Showers at the tent sites were COLD mostly, very hard to catch a hot one down there. Having someone living in our site 47D was extremely annoying and they really should be moved. That site was chosen by me specifically 1 yr ago for the trees and the size of the site. I could not use my hammocks or tent hammock. Staff is great, all very friendly.

Friendly staff and very helpful. My site was great next to the stream. Clean campground and they pick up trash and will deliver firewood and ice to your site. Large campground, but never felt cramped. Highly recommend if you’re in Ouray.

Camp site and camping service was great. Store had everything anyone needed. Restaurant was badly understaffed. Took 1 1/2 hours to get served (the single waitress was busting her tail). I would suggest shutting down the restaurant until it can be properly staffed- it just gives the entire operation a black eye.

We were on a Jeep trip with family and they made it where we could all camp together. It’s a great place to stay with great people who will do their best to make sure your stay is great

We want to thank the whole staff at KOA. Friendly service, felt like family. Helpful staff. The Mountain Top restaurant team did an excellent job of providing a positive atmosphere, even though they were short staffed. I would stay again and very relaxing.

My stay went fine. While my campsite for a tent wasn't the best it was totally my issue for not reserving sooner. The 1-12 campsite are extremely close to one another and the dust from the road is horrible. I would never select one of these.

Overall a great stay with friendly staff and mostly clean facilities. More showers and bathrooms would be nice but the waits were not too bad. I guess it goes with the RV experience but occasionally the smell of sewage was overwhelming. That said the park was completely packed full of campers. We will return to visit again!

This was our first time staying In an RV park and we were thrilled with the amenities and large RV spaces. We usually camp off grid but it was nice to be able to pull in and plug in. This park is great! Very dog friendly for well behaved dogs. There is a great dog trail and all of the spaces are great! They have a gift shop with darling things and anything you may have forgot. And a restaurant!

Great location. Old RV campground design/layout. All old short sites. Some hard to back in to. Sewer connection at very back of site. Sewer hose would not reach. Had to go buy a longer sewer hose.

From check in to departure this place was easy and provided us a safe and fun place to stay! All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back!

The teepee is need of repairs if they are going to continue to use it. The canvas is torn around the “door” which does not properly close either. Tripping hazard on the deck and the canvas is not tight around the poles and keeps you awake all night. The KOA it’s self felt very crowded without designated tent sights so I was uncomfortable walking trying to avoid other people’s camp sites

The tent sites should not be at the entrance of the park. We had a very small site next to another small site with multiple tents pitched… needless to say we could hear our neighbors all thru the night and every vehicle that went in/out shined their lights into the tent. Not much sleep at all. Love Ouray, but the KOA accommodations left a little to be desired.

Need more bathroom/shower facilities and they need to be cleaned several times a day, especiallythe floors.. Tent site not level, half grass and half dirt. At the price it should be clean pea gravel pad. Staff was super nice and attentive.

It was GREAT!!! We had some issues and totaled our car and David and Amarylis helped us out so much and made sure we had a camp site to put our trailer at and also told us where to go look for a new vehicle at. The staff was great and we will definitely be back!!

Cold water in the showers. Wifi was terrible if it worked at all. Hugh park, probably too big. Nice staff. Would/will go back, hopefully they will improve.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
