Great KOA location. Very clean, friendly. Could use a little more privacy between sites. We were at a site where both RV's "front doors" faced each other. Awkward eating dinner facing each other. It was hard to sit outside at night when the dogs in the other RV were incessantly barking at us from their windows. Overall a pleasant stay, but would request another site.

We enjoyed our 3 night/4 day stay at the Ouray KOA. The tent site- 44- was away from the busy areas, was spacious, and had trees for some shade. The bathrooms and showers were busy but the longest we waited was about 10 minutes for showers. Only issue was barking dogs in a neighbors RV- it would be great if they would address that with people who leave dogs barking all day.

Our family stayed 1 night as we passed through the area. The facility was very well kept and bathrooms were clean. Staff was super welcoming and the Sunday morning church service was amazing! Such a wonderful place to stay!

Stayed three days 1 Camping. Camp sites are very packed and had ant piles around the tress. 2. Cabin. Nice clean 3. Upgrade cabin... Tonight! Great place Local is beautiful But in my opinion to asked together

Location is great for the area, tent row is neighbor on neighbor. You can request a particular site for $20 one time fee. To me that says you know the tent area is bad. If you like a coffee shop, resturant your in luck, charming shops. I prefer a little more privacy when tenting. Not right on the road.

The staff is helpful and very friendly. The location is great for adventures near Ouray and Ridgway. My camp spot was 22C, kind of an afterthought is how it appeared to me. It was not graveled like the other RV spots. And since it rains in the afternoon, we had some not nice mud to schlep through, and a hard time keeping doggie paws clean. Please put the gravel down in all RV spots. Thanks.

We were in space 111B and constantly had people cutting through our space to get to the Showers/Restrooms. Twice we had people trip over our electric line unplugging us. That space needs to be converted to parking or completely fenced in. On the positive side the staff were friendly and the food in the café was good.

Awesome campground with a super friendly, helpful staff. We booked last minute and were able to get a great spot for our van, trailer and 2 pups. This campground really has it all! The restaurant had great food, service and music. We loved our site(#89) and it was conveniently located to the restrooms and main area. The restrooms were very clean. Great sites and great location to Ouray!

Impressed with the size of the pull through sites! Nice quality place to stay while in Ouray area! Also impressed with how quiet it was in the evenings.

Overall our experience was great.Employees were very friendly and helpful. We felt safe and our cabin & campground bathrooms were clean. The mattresses in our cabin were incredibly firm and uncomfortable to sleep on.There was a wasp nest on our porch and our door need excessive pressure to open/close.The shower partitions could be higher. It would be wonderful if unused firewood could be returned.

Tight, extemely dusty, noisy-(due mostly to tight rv accommodations). If it were not for being in Ridgway/ Ouray, CO it would not be my choice.

Young, blonde female checked us in. She did not know what she was doing. It to an experienced lady to help get our situation completed correctly. The young girl was not friendly. Our cabin was fine but had three problems with it that we explained to check representative.

We have been coming to the Ouray KOA for for 20 years. We really enjoy this KOA because the camp sites are not crammed together like some other commercial sites including KOAs. Lately new camp sites are being designed and crammed tightly in areas. Some have been placed in the once grassy field. Improvements to the office is OK but priority should be given to more showers and restrooms. Long lines!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Really liked being on adjoining campsites with our friends; and liked being backed up to the river. Did not care for the high prices in the restaurant; and found the prices in the store to be higher than in town. Appreciated that there was a worship service on Sunday mornings, however the noise from restaurant was annoying at time. Good vacation spot!

Long wait to check in. Very narrow site it took two staff and over 20 minutes to squeeze my fifth wheel in. Dog walk area not friendly to elderly.

My family (husband, 5 year old son, and Blue Heeler mix dog, and I) stayed at this KOA for 3 nights. The staff was off the charts nice and helpful. This was our second time staying here and we hope to come back here soon.

This was the nicest KOA with amenities I’ve been at since becoming a member 2 years ago. We love their Jeep rentals, food service, and even kids mining section. Can’t wait to find a reason to come out here again. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Oh, the front desk opens at 6am!!

Super busy time of year, everyone working there was excellent in every way. You need to install a playground, there's not enough for kids to do which is not the norm for a KOA. For immaculate overall great place.

It was very nice. however one thing I would like to mention about the Deluxe cabins there is a distinct odor of sewage all or most of the time When sitting outside.

Terrible spot location. Literally out in a dirt field. Rain made it a muddy mess. Utilities placed in a bad location and were hard to reach. Bath house had terrible odor which prevented family to enjoy outdoors. Will never return to this RV location. Very surprised to be considered a KOA as it does not KOA STANDARDS. Recommending to all family and friends to go elsewhere.

I rented a "deluxe" cabin. It was anything but deluxe. I had 1 glass and 4 mugs, no can opener. Requested glasses didnt arrive. I would not call this a "kitchenette". There is no sink, the only way to cook is on the grill (which was filthy). However when I pointed that out it was cleaned. The only drawer is too high up to see into it. (I'm 5'4 and had to stand on a chair.) Would not return

The mattresses in the standard sleeping cabins are really pain-full, so stiff and plastic covered, I think I woke up 6 or 7 times a night needing to readjust positions because I was going numb from the firmness of the bed. Some KOAs have replaced the old blue hard mattresses with something more modern and reasonably comfortable, the Ouray KOA has not - might be time for that.

What an amazing stay!! The pictures you see doesn't give Ouray KOA justice! It's a gorgeous park, with super friendly staff that are so accommodating! We were supposed to move 4 times with our online reservation and we actually moved once!! The entertainment live music on weekends is so fun and the restaurant on site is delicious and very convenient. Will definitely come back! Miss it already!!

The improvements over the last year are great. I look forward to seeing the changes for next year. The staff was great and friendly. This was my 10th year staying at the Ouray KOA. It only gets better. The new owner is friendly and updating the site.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
