Staff was very helpful. Management did a great job of adjusting for our needs. WOULD RECOMMEND REMOVING ALL WOOD BURNING CAMP FIRES. The smoke is awful and it didn’t follow the no burn restrictions for the county.

Great and well organized Kamp ground. Most of the sites were not too close together. The one we had was big. They have a nice restaurant and store. It is nice that they rent Jeeps, but the price seemed to be for 24 hours and we would have wanted to use it for 12 hours has at a reduced fee. The people running the camp were nice and professional at all times.

Great campsite. We found the park to be clean and well run. We particularly liked the in house restaurant and bar. Terrific staff were very accommodating. We'd definitely stay again

The positive - you can rent a jeep right from the site to explore - a- the negatives - our site was by the horses so there was a horse smell - also the sites are on dirt so when it rains they get muddy - there was little privacy to our site other people and kids kept walking through it - the restaurant was not open on Monday but we got a text to say try it. Finally what is the resort fee for?

This was by far the best KOA experience I’ve ever had. The KOA has so much to offer. I wasn’t prepared to do all the things and see all the sites in the area. I am going to plan to return with my family next year and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the KOA itself. Thank you for the lovely stay.

everyone was friendly and answered any of your questions and I was surprised they even supplied a few pieces of wood to get a fire started

Second time staying here and WOW, just as lovely as the first! I love the kind and helpful staff, the tasty food, and the humorous and friendly neighbors. Can't wait to come back again in a summer or two.

We really enjoyed our stay the restrooms were clean and well stocked, the staff that cleaned the restrooms were very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and well maintained. There is a stream that runs through the Campground that just lulled me to sleep. The only problem was that the tent site we were in which was # 88 was backed up to a service road that was reallllly busy.

Pleasant staff, cleanliness, great bbq/smokehouse and all amenities. A bit overcrowded and packed on the weekends, but able to keep privacy between sites.

Positives: Everyone was beyond nice! Great service. Close to town. Clean. Pretty. Level. Enjoyed our stay! Negatives: Pay extra to dump when already paying a +++ price. Make dump included. No water spigot at the dump for RV’s black tank flush system. A regular water spigot would help. Looked like maybe the old playground was in the process of being replaced? Negatives are few. Nice KOA!

The sites are a little tight but it’s a very nice campground. Very nice people. We’ll stocked store. The restaurant was a welcome surprise! Excellent food.

The Good: Staff were extremely kind and helpful! The location is beautiful! We know you're renovating. The Bad: PLEASE put some effort into the bathrooms/bathouse. Multiple times, we waited 30-45 min for a toilet. We had to go to the main building to report overflowing toilets in the early evenings due to non-working flush handles. 180 RV/tent/cabin sites w/only 5 - 10 toilets working = not great

We initially used the map and meandered to the shower house in the back of the campground. Dirty and disgusting with only 5 toilets total for so many campers. Then we found bathrooms at the front of the camp by the store. Wow! What a difference. Clean, spacious, sanitized! What gives with the big difference?? Overall, too crowded for us, but convenient for the over night we needed.

We love staying at the Ouray Koa. New owners bought it last year and have made some big changes and it really looks like they're trying to improve everything...not that it needed improved in our eyes.

The KOA is not like what it was in the past. The upgrade is nice but It is very crowded and the bigger motor homes block off the view of the nice scenery and camping spaces have become smaller for the prices have gotten bigger. also we purchased some toys for the kiddos in the store and when we went to Montrose, dollar tree, found the exact toys for $1 each.

We stayed five nights in site 69 on the water and loved the location and cleanliness!! Rented rubicon and had a fabulous time!! We've stayed at this KOA 3 times and because we return, indicates how much we enjoyed our stay!!

I reserved my stay months in advance and was surprised with an amount due at check in, never have had this happen; always thought the point of a reservation was to lock in that price. This is bad service in my opinion. Ran into the owners when doing laundry and they were super nice. Beautiful place and very close to Ouray.

Our stay was great. The only thing that would have made it better would have been an enclosed dog area with grass.

We had a wonderful time! We felt safe and were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We felt comfortable leaving our campsite during the day to go on outings. We appreciated the service that we received!! We also appreciated the Christian music in the check in/gift shop area!! The only recommendation I have is that you put vacant/occupied signs on the bathrooms.

The campsites themselves (both RV and tent sites - we had a tent site) are on top of each other and very close together. Otherwise everything else was great! The bathrooms and community areas were very clean, staff was friendly.

We rented deluxe cabin. I dinot like the fact that the mattress for bunk beds didnot have covers on it. It was simple impossible for me to reach the top mattress and put covers on it. You guys should do it before guest check in. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was extremely dirty. And the breakfast. Dont even know where to start. Horrible breakfast..Waitress not at all friendly and food was all mes

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
