Front desk and restaurant/ coffee staff were friendly. Nice spot by the water. Very nice RV park.

Our deluxe cabin was clean and nice. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had 4 adults and 2 kids, and the kids had to sleep on fold out cots and two of the adults had to sleep in the bunk beds. We felt that a pull-out double bed couch would have made much more sense than having these cots. Otherwise all else was nice. This is a great KOA in an incredible location.

Fantastic camp ground! We stayed there for 8 days and wished that we could stay longer. The camp ground itself is in a beautiful setting and the staff well I can’t say enough good about them. Everyone of them were so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises and I would recommend it to a friend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had an awesome site, but the rest of the park seemed crowded. Overall, a pleasant stay. Location is about five minutes from town. Not bad.

Very friendly staff! The site was up to date and restrooms and showers were clean! We stayed in a little cabin with no bathroom it had a great view with easy access to everything we needed!

We loved staying here and enjoyed being right next to the horses. All the staff were wonderful and the cafe was great. I'd update the map to show there is no playground.

We have stayed several times in the deluxe cabin. We return this year to find the newness is wearing off. Floors were dusty, place seemed unkept. Cobwebs were in the windows, the dish sponge was well used, power went out several times, no coffee maker and the rocking chair outside had broken down. The manager offered to give us breakfast but never followed through. I don’t think we’ll be back.

The cabin was comfortable and clean and staff was friendly and helpful. There were good places to eat and cute little shops in Ouray- wonderful place!

Pros- Excellent location, super nice staff, ultra clean bathrooms (cleaned multiple times a day). Bar/grill was nice as well with live music. Cons- Very pricey for a tent site. The tent area was a bit unorganized and even though it said grassy area, it was more just a bunch of dirt. Had to put down tarp and a couple of blankets due to rocks so our air mattresses were secure.

Very helpful staff, clean restrooms. I would rate our site as poor when compared to other sites in the campground. Very dusty, no gravel base, needed full amount of leveling blocks to level side to side, table badly weathered. Low voltage(103V) every afternoon, (Recommend step up transformer installation) Convenient location, but low overall value to cost. I’ll look elsewhere next visit.

We stayed 06.13-06.16 and had the most wonderful time. KOA is extremely clean, staff is so nice and very helpful. We loved Jaime as she waited on us each time we ate there. Kat/Katie and staff were also amazing when we did the horseback riding. Besides the fact that they don't have a pool for the kids, we would definitely stay again.

Some good more not so good. Used to be super friendly and spacious. Tight spots irrelevant of size, WiFi inbound…. Pet walk ok…. Shared w horses now…. Back area used to be tent campers now a mix…. Be good at backing up and if u have a site w/out sewage u get charged for dumping….

If every KOA was run as efficiently as this one, we'd stay at KOAs more often! They help guide you into your spot, communicate, as needed, by text, and respond to requests quickly. Every staff member we encountered was courteous & helpful! The restaurant was amazing & bathrooms are spotless. Roads are dusty, but staff diligently watered them down. Really enjoyed the on-site church service too.

Messed up our reservation we had 4 nights and the site they were holding we would not fit in. The next site we would have had to move so we left.

As with all KOA’s it was crowded but our site was a good size. Employees at the store were friendly. We ate at the restaurant once and it was good. They sent text reminders about different things. That was appreciated.

This camp ground is awesome. From the horse back riding, Jeep rental and the mineral panning my kids had a blast. The grounds are pretty especially with the stream running around out site. Last but not least the staff are awesome so friendly.

A mix of good and bad. Clean restrooms, nice showers. Friendly staff. Good location. The bad: simple tent site located next to horse coral. Manure smell. Dusty roads (pave them!) and campfires resulted in unhealthy air. Service at restaurant for dinner unacceptable, after 1.5 hours not served food order, so told supervisor and left. Oh yeah, Wifi only at main building. Disappointing.

It was our first stay at a KOA and we're hooked! It made camping so much easier with fire and ice delivery as well as trash pick-up. Everyone was extremely friendly! Troy really stood out to us! He was beyond kind and helpful! Thank you so much Ouray KOA you made regulars out of us :)

The campsite is very well maintained. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I loved that we could attend church services. I plan to visit again.

This was my third time staying with you, a week each time. I am always impressed with how everyone respects the quiet hours. Dillon with the grounds crew very graciously helped me out when a piece of my motorcycle gear needed some WD40.

It was nice. A little crowded. The only bad thing was it smelled like sewer everywhere. You couldn’t just sit outside and enjoy it without smelling sewage.

Need to amend website that says the basic cabins are equipped with a fire pit and charcoal grill. Our cabin did not have a charcoal grill and when we asked to be switched to one that did, as our only means of cooking, we were told that only the deluxe had them. This was clearly not the case as we walked around later that evening.

The spot i was assigned was way too small for my camper and truck. Both barely fit side by side. The picnic table was behind the camper in full sun. I talked to the camp office and they were full. Talked to the manager, he recognized an issue, suggested I park in an overflow area but it was always full. He was going to talk to the owner but there was NO follow up. I booked 6 mos in advance

We loved our stay at the Ouray KOA. The grounds were well kept, everything was in working condition and every single time employee was friendly and helpful. I needed a bolt for one of my chairs and the gentlemen brought me one so w we’re able to fix it. Our kids enjoyed the freedom to ride bikes and run with new friends. We so appreciated our time with you all. Thank you so much.

PRO’s: *I think we got one of the very few shady places which was located just to the left of the main entrance. *The owner was very nice. *We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it was nice to know it was available. *located off the highway Cons: *slash was being burned every night and smelled acrid. Mixed with plastics? We complained but nothing happened. *RV’s are packed in tightly

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
