We enjoyed our stay. Meals were good quality and value. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The sewer drain on #31 did not work, and you found us a different and better site. We were surprised to have been charged more for this site, especially as this additional cost was not mentioned. The sewer issue was your problem, not something that we should have had to pay more for.

Great campsite and super friendly staff. They lost my friends’ booking, but made up for it right away. Our kids and dogs had a great time on the property. We will definitely head back again for a longer stay.

After dumping our tanks on our way out they tried to tell us they were going to charge us $15 for using the dump station.  No campground ever charges their own paying guests a fee to use the dump station. And this was never mentioned on the KOA website, no signs, nothing. Plus other hidden fees (resort fee, etc). Restaurant hours on their website wrong, so we missed it. Far from town, overpriced

I was a car camper. Slept in my Subaru forester in site 47B (i think) and I was not judged for that. The front desk checked me with great efficiency even though they were having problems with their computer. A little golf cart even escorted me to my site and the camps were clean, no noisy neighbors (I appreciate that!) and the restrooms were incredibly clean. A+ Breakfast was FABULOUS.

Excellent service, friendly people, and excellent food at the restaurant, especially the smoked meats and ranch beans!! Only improvement are the showers, more light and handicapped stall needed

We've stayed at Ouray KOA for four years.Last year we were disappointed when we saw more campsites crammed into locations that took away the kids' park. It seemed that the KOA was most concerned about making the dollar.This summer we were surprised to be told we had to pay to dump. No other RV park charges paying customers an extra fee to dump.We will look elsewhere to camp in Ouray.

Really loved the layout and having a cafe/restaurant onsite was great. Downside was no wifi at the cabin, no pool and no playground but we had to pay a “resort fee” and when I asked about it at the front the woman said the fee was going to be used for building those things. Also, an additional charge of $25 PER night for our dog seems a bit excessive.

We enjoyed our cozy deluxe cabin on the creek. Ouray is a beautiful destination to enjoy the outdoors.

Ouray KOA is a beautiful campground! The people are extremely nice and accommodating to their guests! It is well maintained and clean! LOVE the music that is always playing and of course the running creek sound! We will be back for sure!!

Super nice and helpful people, Garan and Carla were great in helping with the campsite back up. My site was small but had WiFi access so a great plus. The ladies that did housekeeping were really nice and great with my dogs. The 3 .00 per dog fee was very reasonable, especially with 3 dog stations that were kept stocked with poo bags off bar employees were super nice and helpful. I loved the Dog w

Love the grounds, store, coffee bar and live music. We most likely won't stay again though. Our site was on entrance road, several big rigs checking in after midnight, light from main building was too bright to sleep. These issues are nothing the campground can control, just bad site choice on my part.

I love the city of Ouray! I love the KOA even more. We stayed next to the horses and my dog was in heaven. The staff is friendly, the grounds are clean and well maintained and eventually I am going to come back and stay in a cabin. Also best pet walk i have ever seen! It’s like a mini hike right outside my tent. 10/10 will be back

We’ve always loved the area & campground. We come every summer but WOW! We were so impressed with the new owners, Troy and Penny, and all the improvements they’ve made to the place (especially the store and coffee shop). Check-in was a breeze and the whole staff was super friendly. Thank you for a great experience! We will be back and will tell our friends! Greg & Marlene Brunet

The staff was very friendly and attentive. The campground was clean. Our dogs loved the “dog walk” area. Only one complaint-My husband tried using the restroom/shower twice outside the posted ‘closed for cleaning’ times (11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m) and the bathrooms were closed because a staff member was cleaning.

Really liked the riverside spot (# 33) we were in for the last two nights of our three night stay. The first night we were in a tiny, dumpy spot (# 110) that appears to be perhaps the worst spot in this KOA. Please only charge half price for this location or get rid of it altogether. On the plus side, great firewood program, delicious BBQ ribs in your restaurant, and after hours security!

Wonderful staff from front desk to restaurant to shop to housekeeping. Beautiful setting with many amenities. Truly enjoyed Sunday worship on The Porch - which was a pleasant surprise to have a service on site in the first place. We enjoyed our getaway. Only suggestion is to replace/repair picnic table at RV site 70. Broken plank could cut someone. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Everything was great, the BEST campground we’ve ever stayed at because of the friendly employees, like Ilka and Carla. Best customer service for sure. The only thing we missed was good WiFi for us T-Mobile customers. We don’t have that problem at other campgrounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything about this campground was excellent but the staff were truly a step above. Each and every staff member was pleasant, helpful and truly fun to interact with. Yes it's a campground, yes it's dusty but you're outdoors and that's to be expected. Having smiling happy staff made this stay memorable.

We were able to stay in one of the cabins with no bathroom and the room had bunk beds. It was nice to have electricity and the ability to warm your sleeping area if it got too cold. The only suggestion I’d make is the top bunk needs higher rails. If you just have a sleeping bag and pillow on top, it’s very slippery and your kid could fall off. Our campsite had a lot of trees, which we loved. The campground is very nice and the bathrooms were very clean. The BBQ at the restaurant was just average, but the fried stuff was good. It took a while to get our food, but they made up for it with offering free dessert and free coffee the next morning. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The ice and firewood delivery was nice!

The owners and staff are amazing! So friendly and ready to help with anything. They go out of their way to make you’re stay feel like you’re royalty. They deliver firewood and ice, the store is beautiful, and they have big plans for the campground. Robert, one of the owners, was out front, greeting/working with the other employees. Their organization is a great team!

Great improvements and lots of ongoing projects. Breakfast and dinner great. Live music weekends. Expanded shop with more selections and wine and beer!! PLEASE get your wifi working! Many need it for work now and the rest of us for daily living. Rating moves to 5 when that happens. Cable TV would be nice at some point but high speed wifi is essential!

I now remember why I chose KOA for this weekend trip. I found the staff very welcoming upon arrival. Smooth checkin process, property very well maintained and yes the bathrooms are so clean. Departure day brought me to the restaurant for breakfast. Greeted by a very cheery barista. Delicious coffee and a breakfast wrap that satisfied. Sorry to have leave.

Absolutely beautiful location. The first night was noisy because of some inconsiderate neighboring campers. But, other than that it is a wonderful campground in a convenient location to Ouray and Ridgway.

The staff at the Ouray KOA were all exceptional, friendly and accommodating! However our site was located along the road before you get to the upper part of the campground, there was constant noise from all vehicles traveling up and down the hill. I would recommend staying in one of the sites further up the hill, not near the entrance.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
