Our stay started with Robert getting us the best site ever! Then, our camp attendant, Daryll, who we had the pleasure of meeting on his first day, made sure we wanted for nothing. Our site was total dirt and DUST. Need to lay down some rock. The fire pit was full of cigarette butts and trash, not very welcoming.

Stay was great. Only issue was that I left a couple of phone messages enquiring about how late the office would be open. I was not sure what time we would get there. I never got a return call. Was not an actual issue as we arrived earlier than I had anticipated but I would have appreciated a return call.

Park is nice but wish we would have known we couldn’t ride our side by side out of the park to the trails! We were pulling a trailer with our 42’ motor home so there was no way to trailer it to the trail head. We moved on to Silverton which welcomes OTVs. Be aware once you register you can’t get a refund if you shorten your stay!

We were not escorted to our location, and the campground map was terrible! Tent site was all dirt. I paid the resort fee since it was required, but this was no resort. To top it all off, I was charged a $2.00 pet fee but had NO PET!! Nor did I say I had a pet when I booked the reservation online. I am VERY disappointed. Would like pet fee refunded at a minimum.

As soon to be RV owners and on vacation in CO, we explored campgrounds to observe and learn from others. Decided to stay at the KOA in a beautifully, fully equipped, very clean deluxe cabin. It was delightful from cooking dinner on the gas grill & deck, cute decor, tv, and the creek. The staff, amenities, and property were incredible! Had a wonderful breakfast in the cafe. Highly recommend!

First had to sign rules that we could not leave our 3 small dogs alone in our airstream unless we were eating at the KOA restaurant. We didn’t come to see that restaurant. We’re always ok in rule to prohibit annoying barking and have never had a complaint. Lastly there was almost no grass for dogs only dust unless you climbed a steep walk. This is not a pet friendly park so we left after one d

Perfect as always. Family has been staying here for close to 20 years and gets better every year. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the accommodations are perfect. Already booked for next year!

Our visit was disappointing compared to our visit four years ago. The number of sites was increased to a point that getting around was difficult. The help was great, but the entire site has gone downhill.

Great KOA. Great amenities. Store open late, restaurant with espresso bar. Located near Ouray with still having a campground feel near river. Free ice and firewood. Only suggestion is find a new way for the restaurant to discard trash. A big pile of boxes in front of the restroom facilities, just doesn’t fit with the clean well run facility feel of the place. Nice place would return

First time at this KOA. The staff was excellent, just like all of the previous KOAs. The only downside was being given a spot next to the maintenance garage; a little noisey or I am just spoiled on my previous visits to KOA. Next time I'll request a better space. And, we were expecting cable or digital tv. Oh well.

Super friendly and helpful, great open hours, huge and well stocked store, great breakfast restaurant and super coffee bar, great and abundant camping options, always clean restrooms, great location, great off road options and on-site jeep rentals.

The staff is very friendly and was very accommodating. Allowing us to switch sites, moving us closer to the cabin we rented. As usual, the wi-fi is minimal. KOA is a family friendly operation, yet this facility is not kid friendly. A fancy high end restaurant indicates a catering to a higher scale a clientele. We love Ouray and will return annually. I would like to see some investment in the kids.

We enjoyed our overnight stay at your KOA. Your staff is friendly and helpful, you had all the amenities we could have possibly needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the reminders of the restaurant being open that we could have firewood delivered to our site Etc. About the only thing we could say could be improved is that people who are staying with campers should be able to dump their camper free of charge

Male campers staying in cabin next to our trailer were constantly urinating in front of the cabin (the restrooms were 100ft from the cabin!). They were also idling their diesel truck for long periods of time. Reporting this to staff they even defended those guys. We also felt like being on a religious retreat instead of being on a campground.

This was the best KOA we have been to yet! The only added feature that would be helpful is a designated pet play area instead of the walk, which was a bit far from our campsite. Overall, the staff was amazing and so was our site!

Wonderful location with sites the trees and a little creek running thru it. This park is spacious, well-kept, great dog walk areas and the most friendly staff you will find!

Prices have increased by more than 20% from 2019, including a $6 "resort fee". I strongly dislike nebulous fees that appear to be nothing more than a way to make more money without having it show up front. Unfortunately, barking dogs have become a given at this KOA. I didn't drive 300 miles to listen to barking dogs--I do that all the time at home.

over 20 years and this was by far the worst and probable last experience. I paid extra to reserve a certain cabin. Upon arriving we see they have allowed a tent to be put up 20 feet from our door. Then we see that the water faucet doesn't work, so I go to the office. I am told they will come fix it. Two hours later I go back and am told to check out if I don't like it. Worst service ever.

The showers and toilets were NEVER cleaned my entire stay. I both texted and verbally spoke out about the issues and was always told they would get right on it. Nothing every got cleaned, yet there were several staff just riding around in golf carts or standing behind the reception desk not really seeming too busy. They would always apologize about the conditions, that's it.

Great staff, very friendly. It’s hard to maneuver your rig in the campground. The campsites are too tight, they need to cut about 1/3 of the campsites and they would have a great campground. Beautiful area with nice views of the mountains even from the campground.

The host was very accommodating. We booked our site many months in advance as we have a 45’ motor home. The site was supposed to be 85’ long but somewhere along that information was not correct within their computer system and it was about one half that length. They made some changes and moved us to a much more suitable site even though it was during the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Had a great stay. The place was like a full on resort. Hardly even needed to leave the campsite. Only thing we would change was "the message" playing in the bathroom. Not everyone likes christian rock.

We have stayed her many times over the past 25 years. It is overcrowded now like most every place in Ouray. There is not enough restrooms for the amount of people. The wifi does not work except at the main office area so it really should not be listed as an amenity. Unfortunately it is very expensive now to stay here but due to lack of other campsites its the best for the money.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
