The campground was nice and the cabins was nice, but we had to move to 3 different cabins in our 8 days that we were there , and we made our reservation 5 months in advance, employees seem to struggle with making reservations on the computer!!

Everything was great. Terrific staff! Especially the restaurant staff: Charlene, Morgan and Jamie were very accommodating, friendly, wonderful! Kevin was very knowledgeable and helpful. Top compliment goes to Matt who saw me struggling while carrying some stuff and ran over to help me! My only suggestion is that staff wear name badges so they can be addressed by their names.

Your KOA is unlike any I have experienced, in a good way. It was very nice to have a single user bathroom/shower. It was conveniently located near our cabin. the folks working there were very courteous. restaurant convenient. it would be nice to order sides instead of big meals. syrup way to cold

Extremely helpful and FAST staff workers. Extremely knowledgeable on hikes amd jeep trails in the area. Visitor center we’ll stocked with essentials and then some! Breakfast is amazing and affordable priced. Owner and his employees are well versed in customer service and seem to enjoy going above and beyond a call of duty! Y’all rock and we’ll DEFINITELY be back!

It was a little crowded, but everything was so clean, easy and organized. The grounds are beautiful and the jacuzzi and restaurant are bonuses.

Stay was great. Only issue was that I left a couple of phone messages enquiring about how late the office would be open. I was not sure what time we would get there. I never got a return call. Was not an actual issue as we arrived earlier than I had anticipated but I would have appreciated a return call.

As soon to be RV owners and on vacation in CO, we explored campgrounds to observe and learn from others. Decided to stay at the KOA in a beautifully, fully equipped, very clean deluxe cabin. It was delightful from cooking dinner on the gas grill & deck, cute decor, tv, and the creek. The staff, amenities, and property were incredible! Had a wonderful breakfast in the cafe. Highly recommend!

Great KOA. Great amenities. Store open late, restaurant with espresso bar. Located near Ouray with still having a campground feel near river. Free ice and firewood. Only suggestion is find a new way for the restaurant to discard trash. A big pile of boxes in front of the restroom facilities, just doesn’t fit with the clean well run facility feel of the place. Nice place would return

Super friendly and helpful, great open hours, huge and well stocked store, great breakfast restaurant and super coffee bar, great and abundant camping options, always clean restrooms, great location, great off road options and on-site jeep rentals.

This was the best KOA we have been to yet! The only added feature that would be helpful is a designated pet play area instead of the walk, which was a bit far from our campsite. Overall, the staff was amazing and so was our site!

Prices have increased by more than 20% from 2019, including a $6 "resort fee". I strongly dislike nebulous fees that appear to be nothing more than a way to make more money without having it show up front. Unfortunately, barking dogs have become a given at this KOA. I didn't drive 300 miles to listen to barking dogs--I do that all the time at home.

over 20 years and this was by far the worst and probable last experience. I paid extra to reserve a certain cabin. Upon arriving we see they have allowed a tent to be put up 20 feet from our door. Then we see that the water faucet doesn't work, so I go to the office. I am told they will come fix it. Two hours later I go back and am told to check out if I don't like it. Worst service ever.

The showers and toilets were NEVER cleaned my entire stay. I both texted and verbally spoke out about the issues and was always told they would get right on it. Nothing every got cleaned, yet there were several staff just riding around in golf carts or standing behind the reception desk not really seeming too busy. They would always apologize about the conditions, that's it.

The property was beautiful!! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!! Our cabin and facilities were very clean!! We definitely recommend Ouray KOA and will definitely stay there again!!

The mattress was a bit soft and there was no coffee or filters for the coffee maker. But other than that it had all the amenities and was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The only complaint I have is the large burn pit smelled terrible, and our cabin was next to it. So when we were at our cabin it had a sour smell coming from it. Otherwise it was a great stay!

We loved staying in the cabins! Will likely recommend the cabins over tents as the tent spaces are pretty close to each other.

Always clean bathrooms. Campsite clean, orderly. Everyone always helpful and attentive. Water spigot at camping cabin(s) not functional, need fixed. Would like to see smaller portion menu items in cafe.

The entire staff we met where absolutely great. I had the best caramel mochiato ever, made in the restaurant which also served really great food. If l am every blessed again with the opportunity to visit Ouray Colorado we will be back to the KOA.

The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered- it is clear that everyone loves their job! The property was clean and very dog-friendly. And the specialty coffee in the morning was a fun camping treat!

Gorgeous koa and area.Tom and Amaryllis made our stay all the better because they were so helpful and informative, we felt at home our entire stay thanks to these great folks! Tom recommended perimeter trail and it was just what we were looking for for our hike, challenging but doable, and gorgeous! Amaryllis helped us plan some sight seeing drives and shared wildlife info. We'll be back!

Likes: I really liked the christian music they played in the bathrooms. I would like to know what the radio channel (or if it was serious radio) they were playing, maybe I could get it in Arizona. I really liked the cabin, it was cute and the most affordable thing for us (couldn't afford hotel). Dislikes: I hate that non of the food items in the little grocery store had prices on them.

The people working at the front and service (getting firewood fixing problems were great) The restaurant workers need help, diner took a while and breakfast never happened after a while we just left. I don't want to see it go away,

The campground is a beautiful with a stream running through it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and the KOA was surprisingly quiet even though there are a lot of people staying here. There isn't as much to do for younger kids. No play structure. We did horseback ride and that was great. The Wifi did not work at all so that may be our biggest complaint. Overall it was a great stay!

Great KOA, I would have given a 10 and a 5, but the sewer smells were horrible, I won’t stay again unless you can guarantee me that it is fixed.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
