The campgrounds were lovely. The restaurant food was delicious. But, we were shown to the wrong site and after we had hooked up had to move to the correct spot. As a Holiday KOA I expect it to be kid friendly and it was not at all. The staff wasn’t friendly towards children.There were no activities not even a playground. Quiet hours were late, Great adult campsite but shouldn’t be a Holid

We got the campsite with dead trees and broken picnic table that they said they would fix or replace and that never happened. They also had issues with the WiFi.

We were moved every night we were here. We had no idea the second day that we had to move, was called and a very rude lady told me to get back and move. We actually were moving a HOUSE and had the highway blocked. The last night we were moved by a group of barking dogs. The food is good.

An excellent park that is well maintained and has lots of camping options. Staff was great and there are lots of amenities. The Pet Walk was awesome for our shepherd mix that likes to move a lot. The store saved my sanity by having vinegar so i could fix my clogged faucet! Didn't get to enjoy the restaurant but hope to next time.

I would not have enough Room to say what I really would like to say just disappointed in a few things the people that worked there were very nice and pleasant but I am not sure about the new management and the way they run things We stayed there at least 4 times a year I don't think we will anymore seems like they care more for money. Made reservations a month in advance got small area big rv

This campground was excellent. It had wonderful amenities, everything was clean, and it was very close to Ouray. We were even able to book a horse back riding excursion that left directly from the campgrounds. I would highly recommend this campground and we will definitely be visiting again.

Nice place! Very helpful staff! However, the sewer dump at site 57 is up hill, no use what so ever. Breakfast (weekday)took forever to be served after being ordered. Directional signage can be better. Consider moving horses a little farther away from campsites, a lot of flies!

The park is well maintained and gives the feeling of being in a mountain setting while still providing the amenities of a full hookup park. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Brought our RV, 3 young daughters, and bikes. NON STOP excellent fun!! Loved the horse back rides, the corn hole, the river, the live music, the coffee shop. The people were AMAZING to us. Can't wait to come back!!

Camp grounds were pretty! Snow capped Mt. saw deer in the camp grounds! A little noisy but was a busy weekend! Week days were quiet! I would stay here again!

The fees are way too high, and our campsite was in need of mowing. Sucks to pay 70 for a tent site and 20 bucks for firewood and then have to pull weeds.

Staff is truly outstanding but the park REALLY needs a dog park. Some sights are WAY too close with slide outs coordinated to extent pass each other. Also great restaurant but can’t return until the get a park.

It is a nice, organized campground and the RV experience was great. If possible, for children under 2, I would locate their campsite away from the creek if possible. Also, the workers in the restaurant need to some help to move orders and eating along.

We enjoyed our stay. Meals were good quality and value. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The sewer drain on #31 did not work, and you found us a different and better site. We were surprised to have been charged more for this site, especially as this additional cost was not mentioned. The sewer issue was your problem, not something that we should have had to pay more for.

After dumping our tanks on our way out they tried to tell us they were going to charge us $15 for using the dump station.  No campground ever charges their own paying guests a fee to use the dump station. And this was never mentioned on the KOA website, no signs, nothing. Plus other hidden fees (resort fee, etc). Restaurant hours on their website wrong, so we missed it. Far from town, overpriced

Excellent service, friendly people, and excellent food at the restaurant, especially the smoked meats and ranch beans!! Only improvement are the showers, more light and handicapped stall needed

We've stayed at Ouray KOA for four years.Last year we were disappointed when we saw more campsites crammed into locations that took away the kids' park. It seemed that the KOA was most concerned about making the dollar.This summer we were surprised to be told we had to pay to dump. No other RV park charges paying customers an extra fee to dump.We will look elsewhere to camp in Ouray.

Ouray KOA is a beautiful campground! The people are extremely nice and accommodating to their guests! It is well maintained and clean! LOVE the music that is always playing and of course the running creek sound! We will be back for sure!!

Super nice and helpful people, Garan and Carla were great in helping with the campsite back up. My site was small but had WiFi access so a great plus. The ladies that did housekeeping were really nice and great with my dogs. The 3 .00 per dog fee was very reasonable, especially with 3 dog stations that were kept stocked with poo bags off bar employees were super nice and helpful. I loved the Dog w

Love the grounds, store, coffee bar and live music. We most likely won't stay again though. Our site was on entrance road, several big rigs checking in after midnight, light from main building was too bright to sleep. These issues are nothing the campground can control, just bad site choice on my part.

We’ve always loved the area & campground. We come every summer but WOW! We were so impressed with the new owners, Troy and Penny, and all the improvements they’ve made to the place (especially the store and coffee shop). The staff was very friendly and attentive. The campground was clean. Our dogs loved the “dog walk” area. Only one complaint-My husband tried using the restroom/shower twice outside the posted ‘closed for cleaning’ times (11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m) and the bathrooms were closed because a staff member was cleaning.

Really liked the riverside spot (# 33) we were in for the last two nights of our three night stay. The first night we were in a tiny, dumpy spot (# 110) that appears to be perhaps the worst spot in this KOA. Please only charge half price for this location or get rid of it altogether. On the plus side, great firewood program, delicious BBQ ribs in your restaurant, and after hours security!

Wonderful staff from front desk to restaurant to shop to housekeeping. Beautiful setting with many amenities. Truly enjoyed Sunday worship on The Porch - which was a pleasant surprise to have a service on site in the first place. We enjoyed our getaway. Only suggestion is to replace/repair picnic table at RV site 70. Broken plank could cut someone. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Everything was great, the BEST campground we’ve ever stayed at because of the friendly employees, like Ilka and Carla. Best customer service for sure. The only thing we missed was good WiFi for us T-Mobile customers. We don’t have that problem at other campgrounds. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything about this campground was excellent but the staff were truly a step above. Each and every staff member was pleasant, helpful and truly fun to interact with. Yes it's a campground, yes it's dusty but you're outdoors and that's to be expected. Having smiling happy staff made this stay memorable.

Our campsite had a lot of trees, which we loved. The campground is very nice and the bathrooms were very clean. The BBQ at the restaurant was just average, but the fried stuff was good. It took a while to get our food, but they made up for it with offering free dessert and free coffee the next morning. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The ice and firewood delivery was nice!

THE best campground we have stayed at. The creek and trees are beautiful. Staff super helpful and very clean. Great place for families and dogs too.

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
