Very nice & large KOA property. We ate breakfast at the new restaurant, & the food & service were very good. Store has been remodeled & expanded. We will return next summer. Laundry area could use improvement, although new equipment was being installed while there. Better floor & machine cleaning should be a priority.

Beautiful location under trees with Mountain views, even had a stream behind our site. A nice restaurant on site, delivery of firewood and ice directly to the campsite. We can’t wait to come back again, hated to leave!

We stayed in site 56 back in with a 35 foot 5th wheel. Great satellite dish service. Customer service was very good. Kevin especially checked on us everyday and in the evening to see if we needed anything. Plenty of shade in this site and very quiet. Restrooms in back area seemed to be fine. Nice store and is open early morning and late in the evening. Would definitely stay there again.

Great resort in a splendid location. Subtracted a star for connectivity; I recognize that most folks aren't journeying to Ouray to be connected, but in this day and age many of us "work from the road"; beware that campground WiFi and LTE (VZW) are basically non-functional. You'll have to go into Ouray or Ridgway for LTE service. Coffee shop options also lackluster in town for WiFi.

I thought the KOA was nicer than the riverside rv resort where my sister stayed. Loved it that there was a nice gift shop and a restaraunt.

Horses right next to the campsite!!!! Smell of horse crap!! Flys, Flys, Flys!!! Camp site was lower that the sewer connection so sewage would not flow. WiFi internet only works if within 10’ of the store. Very inconvenient since cellular was almost nonexistent. Tried to do 1 load of laundry the coin machine was empty just needed $1 in quarter front desk person could not give change.

It was loud and dusty. The people that work there were loud even after the quiet hours (which were set by them). The lights were bright and on all night long…..although the people who worked there were pleasant and tried to dim the lights. I do not recommend a site near the main office. People were coming and going all night long. Glad to be gone now.

Second time visiting the Ouray KOA. The staff was amazing. We had a great spot next to the creek. Awesome little hike for the dogs and close to everything. Highly recommend.

This is the BEST KOA we have stayed at!!! Love, love, love the hospitality of the staff and the Mountain Top Social Cafe! Espresso was good, wine was great and the smokehouse food DELICIOUS! truly enjoyed the atmosphere and the music in the lounge. We will be back! ps, hoping for an enclosed dog park, next time ;-)

The location was amazing. For the most part the facilities were great. The restaurant and live music was amazing. The only issues I had was the hot tube was broken and the price per night was steep, along with having to pay a dump fee.

The staff was friendly and very helpful, the camp itself was great with lots to do, supplies if u need them, even a hot tub. Great place well stay at again for sure.

Would recommend it is a beautiful place located close to Ouray, Ridgeway, and Teluride! Enjoyed having a restaurant close, fire pits and your new laundry facility!

The folks at this KOA are great and very helpful. Kevin and Kristen were so helpful. They like what they do and it shows. We're planning to come back next year. BBQ Joe makes the best brisket, chicken, and ribs which is no small feat at high altitude.

It was nice and comfortable I enjoyed camping next to the creek and the service was great all employees are very friendly and kind like you ever get a chance I will be back.

Everything was lovely! The staff were amazingly pleasant and helpful in every aspect. Facilities were clean and well maintained. I was impressed by the amenities... Jeep rentals, restaurant, store, hot tub, etc.

The spots are level and clean, although they are not marked well for night arrivals. I do not recommend arriving late at night due to the enormous gallinipper mosquitoes. While hooking up and leveling out, we had multiple bites. Also, it was quite noisy with sirens and trains and highway noise, but if you’re from a city, this likely won’t be a bother. Our a/c was enough to drown it out

We love this KOA. So much to do and everyone that works there seems to really enjoy it. Of note, Kevin has been a great addition to your team. So accommodating and knowledgeable. Always a smile and willingness to help. We’ll be back!!

We've been staying here for the past 14 years but it must be under new management. No where near as friendly and the caliber of clientele has definitely changed. They made improvements to the office/check-in area but charge for every little thing. Extra $20 to request a certain site and an extra $20 if you arrive before 3pm to check-in. Sad as it's a nice campground. Don't think we'll be back.

Nice big park with store, restaurant, etc. $20 fee to come in early is offensive, as is the $2 per day pet charge (how does a dog cost the park any money?).

Great park, easily the most beautiful KOA we have stayed at. The restaurant was great and Morgan was a very friendly and caring server. This was my first experience with our new trailer and Kevin helped me park my trailer for the 1st time and was so patient and friendly! We loved it and plan on returning.

One of the most beautiful and best climate areas in the US, and a great KOA. Nice slot, excellent amenities, great staff. Standout help provided by Carla and Steve, and superb service from Charleen in the cafe each time we stopped in. DON'T pass up renting a Jeep right from the lot on the KOA and taking on some of the 4-wheeling up in the mountains - crazy views and much fun.

The grounds and accommodations were excellent. I really appreciate the on-site store and bar/restaurant too! We were lucky enough to score an RV spot someone must have cancelled. I can hardly wait to come back and hopefully spend more time in this beautiful area!

Nice remodel of office and restaurant. Friendly staff. Could use gravel or new grass where there once was. Very dusty and muddy in pull thru section. Perhaps that is on the list for future improvement?? Look forward to seeing you next year

I stayed here in 2012 on a trip to the San Juans. Camp hosts were super friendly, and the showers were nice and clean. We did a tent spot and it was great.

We just needed to use facilities on the way through. The showers here are so clean, water is piping hot and pressure is great. One of the cleanest bathroom setups we have had in awhile. The camphost was so friendly. Don't forget to say hello to Hermes, the camp cat! Such a sweetie and might follow you into the bathroom to warm up on the off season. 😇
