Needs more tlc. Weeds need to be trimmed, dead plants in flower barrels need to be pulled & lawn chairs near pond need to be washed daily. Outside maintenance should be improved. Staff in office were very nice.

Everything was great, accept for the dust from the road. Great location, close to shopping etc. We got a phone call and had to leave in an emergency only after 3 nights. The girl in the office was very understanding and credited my mastercard for the rest of the week. I am sure that if we go back to that area we will certainly go back to that Koa and tell our friends about the park

Staff was very friendly and informative. Grounds were kept in good shape including the pool which was being booked 15 people at a time due to covid restrictions. It was a great weekend out and we will definitely be back!

Tent campsite was lovely. I had asked that my children who were staying in the tent be close to my tiny trailer site (which holds 3max). We were on opposite sides of the campground. There was no hot water any of the 5 times (all different times of the day) a shower was required, and the store didn’t have any supplies for purchase. Plus the store closed at 6pm on Saturday…. I won’t be back.

Sorry to hear about that, our tent section is not close to 30amp RV section. And our RV site is not allowed tent on site because of tent peg will damage our underground water pipe and hydro line. We just tested the shower and hot water is hot enough, we will keep monitoring to prevent problems.

Beautiful week end. Only thing was the grass areas. They could have been line trimmed. Long grass around trees, posts etc. and the driveway coming to house area.

Enjoyed the Bruce trail access, saltwater pool, clean restrooms. Friendly and accommodating staff, owners well-involved in day to day operations and accessible. Pool reservations booked quickly due to group bookings which made it difficult for others to access. Noise control after hours not enforced. Wood price was steep. Generally good sites overall with grass and some shade!

The facilities were clean, staff friendly. I really like the campground however do have 2 things we were disappointed in 1. We booked as a group in February and we’re not put together even though had email confirmation we would be. Same thing with a July booking. Need to ensure when groups book their sites are together when booking so far in advance 2. Garbage bin needs to be closer or picku

When we checked in, there were people complaining about placement of wrong sites, and some other issues. My husband checked in and we had booked over a year ago, and we booked a pull through with 50 amp. He didn't realize, and I had forgotten. He was told where to go, and we got completely set up, and they came and told us we were on the wrong spot, after someone else checked in and we were on

The manager onsite was very rude when checking in. Our reservation was switched from the site we picked and paid extra for to a much less desirable one. When I pointed this out she was argumentative and told me I didn't know how to use a computer as the system is always right. This the 4th time in the last 2 years we have been to KOA Owen Sound and we will NOT be back. Place has gone down hill

We are sorry to hear about that, we checked your reservation email and we found that you picked #28. For the past years, we have 28 and 028,which make guest very confuse, we added a L to the lower campground sites , which should solve this problem.

Relaxing but the internet needs addressing. You get 1 hr free per day but it didn’t work after the first night.. not good

Great park for the two of us. Quiet at the time but our area was less tha 50% occupied. The park is very clean. You are literally right on the Bruce Trail. Staff was very accommodating. We'll be back.

i arrived on tuesday and the only day i hd for the pool wednesday and they were closed for cleaning you would think they would do that in the morning so people can use that in the day not impressed

Sorry to hear about that, we clean our pool every day. However we found that we have to keep the pool close once a week,so that the pool can be restore. We hope you can enjoy our pool on your next visit.

Stayed in a cabin with no water on site, had to fetch water closedby, not ideal for a cabin it is an expectation to have a tap on site, i should have taken a tent site with water and power instead.

Sorry to hear about that, our cabin doesn't have any water tap inside the cabin. However there are water taps close by for guest to use.

It was a great stay. Clean washroom and pool. The staff at the check-in is pleasant, but maybe need a bit more flexibility in helping customers book site for future camping. Theres no other customer in line at the time of request.

I find that with this KOA they are really sticking it to you with everything they can. The first time ever I was asked what type of breed my dog is. Not a huge deal. Also disposing of Garbage is a pain. There are ZERO garbage bins anywhere on the actual camp site and they threaten you with a $500 fine. Lots of recycling.

Very nice camp ground. We like the sites near the trout pond. Will definitely be going back. Wish it was open for thanksgiving weekend!! We camped here last year and it was fantastic! But they are closed this year.

This was the first weekend in Ontario that we were allowed to be "transient campers", so we booked on Wednesday for our Friday arrival, and were very pleased to get a great site. There were very few camped near us, so it was a great getaway, beautiful and quiet. The pool was heated and very clean. People were playing volleyball, and kids enjoying the playground. It was a very relaxing weekend!

We didn't use the facilities outside our trailer. Nice views and good number of trees in the campground. Trails are well marked. It just needs a little care - worn out flags ( one Canadian flag was 3/4's missing), and a little fresh paint, etc.

We stayed October 10-12, The fall colors were amazing. We did some hiking at Indian river conservation area all the way the end where there was a water falls,,,,beautiful. This was our second stay at the Owen Sound Koa and we really enjoyed both times. The staff at this Koa are very friendly and helpful, we might make this a yearly trip.

Great getaway close to home. Enjoyed the privacy at the back of the park and hiked the trail. Super friendly staff! We'll come again:)

It was fine, but we noticed a huge difference in the state of the park now it has new owners. It is very unkempt compared to previous years. Grass overgrown on each side of the driveway coming into the park. Same scenario at the house. And generally on the grounds-no trimming around rocks, trees etc. No flowers planted, just weeds. It was disappointing. Surprised head office haven't stepped in.

Awesome! We had a great stay!! � We were at the park for 2 weeks in August, (Site #34), and loved it. This is why we came back. Nice trails and our dogs loved the Dog Park. Washrooms were clean and friendly staff at the office! Thank you for a great experience!

Check in very disorganized only one staff on desk on a busy weekend Friday.No firewood for sale but was in compound on site.Very few staff around on busy Thanksgiving weekend.Nice park but our site was very tiny for our 36 foot 5th wheel trailer.We made the best of our stay despite the shortcomings of the park.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
