The cabin (#1) we had did not have any privacy as it was right at the entrance to the park. There were no trees or bushes planted around it so every person walking by or driving in/out was looking directly into our campsite. The cabin was cute and clean. No special features in the location; no lake, pond or river. We had a good time hiking to waterfalls and exploring Moreland house and gardens.

happy that campground clean. staff did not really talk much. would have liked a frig in cabin. would be nice to have recycle can and a garbage can in the cabin rather than just one can.

New management no longer deliver wood. Management elected to take photos of our cabins instead of talking with us first. Illogical to suggest clotheslines, tarps and hammocks hung from cabin to cabin affects structure of cabins. Suggestion to do so between trees even more illogical.

The cabin was clean and ready on our arrival the washrooms were clean and not to far from our cabin. our stay was comfortable and we will stay next year.

Leaves a little to be desired. Cabins were great, but not very many activities available on site. Disappointing the pool was closed on Wednesday.

Amenities were very nice, stayed in a cabin which was nicely laid out but unfortunately is positioned so that there is no shade available and four packed tightly in a row so there is no privacy either. Would probably stay to camp, but not in the cabin again.

Cleaning washroom once a day during covid does not seem adequate. Staff were not very friendly with the exception of the person who registered us. Someone cut the weeds around our cabin and covered our towels, lawn chairs, etc that were on deck in dust and bits of grass and weeds. flowers barrels around the property full of weeds, no flowers. Just disappointing and one swim a day upset kids.

We liked the campground but unfortunately the pool was closed for the one full day that we were there (Wednesday). It seemed really odd to us that a pool would be closed for a full day and we didn't know this when we booked. Otherwise, we would've booked another date to stay there.

Stayed in a cabin, which was good. Downfall fires have to be out by 11pm, pool is closed on Wednesday for no reason, sign in for pool everyday and when you check out be aware that anything left in your fire pit you will be charged for. Very strict on silly things. Would not recommend.

It was amazing! I will go every summer! Stay are very friendly... Lodges are clean.. Washrooms are okay.. Pool is very clean... Just take big spray and enjoy nature!

We rented one of the basic log cabins and it was very clean and comfortable. The showers and bathrooms are also well looked after. The sites are very close together which actually worked out well for our group as we were all right beside one another, which they also greatly accommodated. The only down fall is there’s no beach onsite, but the pool is salt water and kept well. We had a great time

We had a fantastic stay! Seamless really. Staff were friendly, rest rooms were clean, grounds were well kept. Camp ground seemed to be quiet in our cabin section anyways. Thanks again for a fantastic stay, we will be back for sure!

It was short stay, but very nice. Some people (visitors) in the office didn't follow safe distance, that was stressing, staff is very nice

Great location - close to lots of great stuff! Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Access to hiking trails which were beautiful. Small campground, only a few cabins and most spots are in open fields. Limited activities available and the pool had really limited hours. Wood was expensive and can be bought cheaper just down the road.

This was our 12 year in a row at the KOA. Our family enjoyed their self again. If I could make some friendly suggestions, staff need to be friendlier . There’s never any conversation to see if things are going ok. I think having the potted flowers around really makes the park look summery ! We really liked the limited amount of people in the pool, that would be a great idea to continue.

K03 just needs the firepit moved. It's too close to the road and not much greenspace room around it like the other cabins. Pool was awesome and staff were very friendly and fair about the rules. Example letting us know why our hammock needed moving instead of just telling us to move it.

We always loves stayinf at the KOA Owen Sound but with the new management it was ABSOLUTELY terrible! No maintenance of the pool. Unreasonable rules. And not friendly staff. Probably will not go back while managed this way.

We loved the cabin. It was nice not to have to set up a tent and get mattresses blown up. The facilities were clean and staff friendly.

There were no hanging baskets to decorate the cabins. Also, wagon ride was not available which is available in other KOA locations. Suggestion is to equip cabins with fridge and AC as available in other locations to have additional comfort for guests.

Wooden Cabins are very well maintained, beds are clean and comfy. Kids enjoyed the pool, showers are clean too. Loved our stay at KOA, Would love to camp here again.

It has changed since two years ago. We loved the care to the property and guests the old couple and their crew provided. This stay felt unappreciated and like just exchanging of money. We have been camping at this location for years and this was our last year at Owen Sounds. We will most likely try other KOA parks in Ontario. We used to warmly recommend this park but won’t any more.

Stayed in cabin for four nights. Everything good but booking off the pool only 1 time a day is not nice . People book it then do not use it. Many times there was zero people in it

Nice campground. Really quiet. Cabins are too close together for my liking and parking spot for cabin is too close to the fire pit (in my opinion) but other than that great place to stay. Would stay here again.

The cabin was so clean and well kept. We certainly appreciated the complimentary fan and broom inside the room! The bathrooms were also so clean and well stocked, which is always something we appreciate. We will definitely be coming back!

The Cabin was nice the only problem is putting up a clothes line and a hammock are not allowed. What if we need more temporary shade at front on hot sunny day to save our food, utilize the picnic table at the front and simply hangout at the porch. This absurd policy kills the camping spirit, creativity for the sake of cabin aesthetics. However, lines, tarps and hammocks are ok at tents sites.

Sorry ,our cabins does not allowed any lines because the weight of your wet cloth will very likely damage the cabin. You can take a tent site instead of a cabin for your next visit. Tree to Tree cloth is allowed ,as long as you remove it before you leave.

The campground was lovely. I have no complaints about the campground per se. However, the store had next to nothing in it. Our biggest complaint though, was that the Kamp Kabins don't have air conditioning, like many of the other KOA's do, and it was uncomfortably humid in the cabin. I would stay again, if the weather was cooler or there are air conditioners installed

It was a very pleasant four day trip; we really enjoyed the cristal clean pool, daily maintenance to the bathrooms and the tranquil place. Amazing staff!

It was fine ex ept the cabin we were first put in the floor was soaking wet wet when u walked on it water came up threw the cracks.when I went back to the office the guy in the desk said he would have to get a hold of his boss to see if he could do anything so just go back to wait at that cabin and when he could he would let us know. Thank goodness for the 2 workers on the golf cart came and too

Sorry about that, we only have 3 hours between guest to clean and sanitize 9 cabins, Our cleaner is doing a great job to clean Cabins on time, however, the floor may not have enough time to dry out. We purchased a new mop ,hopefully it will leave less water on the floor than before. Thank you

We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was great and cozy for a family of 4. With the hotter night It got stuffy. Pool was freezing!!!! but we had it to ourselves which was great! Would be better if there was earlier swim times and was heated!! the customer service was great as well. I would suggest maybe putting a notice of not being able to buy campfire wood once office is closed though.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
