We had a great site - quiet & private with cedars separating us from other sites. On checking in, we were disappointed to see the sign NO MORE FIREWOOD THIS SEASON. Just thought since it was only mid September they could have arranged to get more for their customers instead of sending us out to get our own. Also our site had a little too much mud; we had to walk carefully when going to the fire.

Lovely campground with well laid out sites. Covid protocols were strictly adhered to and the entire place felt very safe. Check in was easy and fast. No firewood for sale was the only negative.

Given the current COVID status, I found the check-in process took a while but that is understandable and other than that I very much enjoyed my stay. I look forward to returning.

Due to covid and time of year, we did not use any of the facilities. As well, only sites with no electric were available. It was a bit of a challenge to stay warm, as generator hours were 10pm-8am. In spite of that, we enjoyed our stay, the local water falls and will probably return.

No issues. Nice clean park. A little slow on the check in. Otherwise very enjoyable stay. Thanks for the hospitality.

Arrived at a nice clean site, level and beautiful view! The office staff very friendly and helpful. This was our second time this year at this KOA, we will be returning next summer for a longer stay. Close to town for site seeing, shopping, and entertainment. All in all great time at the Owen Sound KOA see you again soon!!

We stayed taking advantage of a KOA offer so we got 1 night free. The site was nice but we had issues with the power supply. When a neighbour was setting up and deploying their slide-outs our surge protector went crazy and then our portable oven and coffee maker kept tripping. Not selling firewood but there was clearly firewood on site? Access to the Bruce Trail was nice though,

Not at all impressed. At exactly 8:01pm, a leather jacket wearing person stomped through my campsite to tell my neighbouring site to turn off their generator, without an apology to me for intruding without explanation. The sites are very tight, with seasonal sites having built fences on their sites, blocking people from backing into sites. Sites are very uneven and trees unkempt.

The full hookup sites across from the pond are great! The view of the trees changing colours is stunning in the fall. Covid meant we did not use any facilities, but I found this place to be quiet and tranquil. Would totally book here again when in the area.

Campground needs work. Should be some character to the sites Check out Parry Sound KOA. They got it right.

didn't appreciate the $20 "select your site" charge, there are no local garbage cans. New ownership has increased rates and cut services.

Staff was very pleasant. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was very clean upon arrival. Washrooms were cleaned multiple times daily. Very conveniently located to town and attractions.

Our site was great. But the wood prices where high. Also durning our stay. They ran out of wood for the season and told us where to get cheaper wood. Now the campsites. There was party going on at one site and no one was doing security that night to tell them to quite then down after 11 pm. Over all it was a very clean and good place to stay at.

This is the most rundown KOA we have ever stayed at. The faded sign and tattered flags (disgraceful) were the first hint. Roads were full of potholes, campground was out of firewood, no flowers, small sites. Very overpriced. Will not return or recommend to anyone.

We were on site 43, there looks like there was a septic clean out on this site. Not a problem until Sun morning when everyone was dumping. Very smelly, please consider sealing this better or not having this as a campsite. Too bad as this site was so nice and perfect except for the smell.

Your KOA is having power issues.. on a 50 amp line 1 line is 120 which is normal the other line was 104 which is abnormal. My Trailer kept on shutting down because one of the lines the power was too low this needs to be addressed. This can cause some serious problems in my couch..

We had asked, upon booking, to be near our friends. We were not reminded that we could specify a site (for extra money). Our site was on low ground and very muddy. The Englush lady behind the desk was great, but the new owners are not as personable as the previous owners.

We did not like that we had to pay 20.00 extra to reserve the campsite we wanted. Never had to pay that other years. We had #14 and after the rain Saturday we literally had a pool on our site come morning. The site needs gravelled to build it up. We had the only site under water. Not impressed at all. Very disappointed. Don't know if we will go back .

Nice, small campground. Disappointed that there is a $20.00 fee to pick out your site. We were camping with 2 other families and wanted to be close to them. We do not like that they would not tell us what site we were on until checking in that day since we did not pay the $20.00. Hook ups for hydro and water were conveniently located at our site.

These are the Covid times .... with all the restrictions it is really hard to rate campgrounds so with that in mind I would recommend this campground to friends but I feel I cannot give a fair assessment of the campground until we return under more normal circumstances. My ratings above are simply based on how the campground dealt with the Covid restrictions. Thank you.

I'll be forwarding on an email to KOA corporate / customer service as well. HORRIBLE quality of a KOA campground - junk quality bathrooms and facilities, a laughable "camp store", and NO adequate follow-up from management / ownership of issues.

There was a very rowdy group not far from my campsite. The loud noise was non stop from when I arrived at 2:00 pm until 11:00.

Found the site given for a 45ft motorhome a bit small, firepit right against the motorhome, had to pay for wifi (first time I've faced that with KOA),front desk person was very courteous and helpful. I feel that the campground needs a bit of a facelift. Well located for Owen Sound.

Very clean - I wish we had spent time there when the weather would have been a little warmer - would have loved to do more of the trails but they were alittle muddy. Too cold for us to use the pool.

You are still listing the Thomann family as the owners. They no longer are since January. We miss them cause the new owners don't or can't communicate with the guests. They are not as sufficient with washroom cleaning. No garbage cans inside the park. You have to go all the way out of the park. Not good for people with dogs. Hope prices don't go way up next year so we can still afford to come her

Very loud people until 3 am. Couldn’t drive down the roads due to other campers because they were sitting on the road and had tables set up in the middle. I only koa employee I saw was at check in and she was ignorant. Fire would was outrageously expensive. We didn’t stay our full stay we came home after one night. We had had enough. Next year we’ll try some where else

I originally booked at the KOA as I didn't want to be camping where people were partying all night long, unfortunately the people across from us were very loud and had no consideration for other people. Someone was also setting off fireworks and ripping their car around the campground roads until at least midnight one night. There is no security and anyone could enter the campground from outside.

This is a very nice affordable campground however it’s beginning to look a little dated/tired. I would expect to have a breaker/disconnect on the 30 amp receptacle to isolate power before plugging in. Unfortunately they were also running a little low/out of firewood. Having said all of this we would return!

Very noisey, listened to very loud music and people talking over their music, was not able to use the pool even when nobody was in it, the people we were camping with were suppose to be on site 62 when they went to check in their site was given away, our site was offered to them, the site they were given was far from acceptable for their trailer.Not Happy Campers with KOA Owen Sound won't be back

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
