Basically a parking lot. No separation between sites. Could hear people screaming and partying all night. Site itself was very tiny. I will be sticking to ontario parks campgrounds. Way better

We wanted a 50-amp site so we could run our fifth wheel trailer without any problems. It appears Owen Sound KOA has a serious hydro problem. When I used my surge protector, I would consistently have a power reading of < 104v which will have the SP cut power to the trailer. After the first day we could not use the SP if we wanted any hydro. We ended up running everything we could on propane.

Booked with our friends side by side but we we're 10 sites away. Wood was very expensive at $16. Unorganized front desk.Talking to seasonal residents they are allso disapointed lately with park conditions.��

Nicely laid out campground. sites are nice. watch out for premium sites $5 extra, kids $5 extra, dogs $5 extra 8 pieces of firewood $16 sorry But I'll never go back Lady at the counter will look after you as soon as she stops texting on her phone, makes you feel welcome instead of an inconvenience (sic)

KOA standards are going down for what you pay ! Use to be well groomed and now very little is done, this is my second KOA and most likely will not book KOA again

Park was clean, staff are friendly. Garbage receptacles located around the park would be much better than having to walk or drive your garbage out beyond the front gate. Also, your firewood is highly over priced compared to what you get! However, the park is clean, quiet, friendly and well maintained. I would certainly recommend it and would come back.

We had a wonderful time. Took our 2 year old grandson with us. The park has a warm and friendly atmosphere! Clean camp grounds, friendly staff :) highly recommended. This was our second stay at the Owen Sound KOA :)

We had a great quiet break. Well organised and efficient contact. Clean. Friendly too. Coming every year now. Great for the outdoors. Decent well run. Anyone leaving bad reviews I suspect are mostly disrespectful types.

Quaint place. Easy access to town. Lots of naturalarea to cycle and walk. Park is very rustic, natural. No issues with water, 30amp electric or sewer hookups. Main office / store closes early, 6pm. Had to drive to town to grab a bag of ice at 6:15pm. There were 2 parties trying to check in just after 6pm and had no idea where to go, which site to choose. Ok place to stay but low on KOA standards

We enjoy the beautiful trees, the clean campground and the quietness at night. We have stayed at KOA's across the U.S. and none of them were as nice as this one. Your staff do a great job.

Absolutely amazing experience ! The staff was very friendly , the site was beautifully cared for and the entire area was well maintained , the bathrooms in particular were beyond my expectations for a camp ground .

The campground was clean with OK water pressure. The electrical was not working on several sites and we were not able to stay on the site the we had selected initially. The price of firewood was way to much. $16 for 8 pieces of wood. We understand that COVID is happening and services were going to be limited, however the price was the high for basically a place to park your camper.

Always like to come to KOA Owen Sound. Staff are great - even behind their masks ! One complaint - there are no longer garbage bins on the upper level area by the pond. You have to take it all the way out past the entrance . I saw several bags of garbage dumped in the blue bins and actually watched one camper toss his garbage in a blue bin. Surely a dumpster could be placed up there somewhere .

I was disappointed that I did not see one container of hand sanitizer anywhere in your park! I think there should've been some available once you entered the office area and in the washrooms...during these Covid times I was shocked there was none available...we must all do our part to stay safe...

30 amp circuit breaker kept tripping. Had to use generator. Road in very rough, rutted, and dusty. Not good at all for newly cleaned toy hauler and motorcycles.

We paid $20 extra to book our site ....but upon check-in we were not informed that the section we were in was experiencing electrical issues and campers were allowed to run their generators day and night! �� we only found when we spoke to a camper 2 sites over from us!

Les espaces communs étant fermés, nous n'avions pas de refuge en cas de gros orage. Nous avons donc quitté un jour plus tôt sans aucun dédommagement. Les terrains sont petits offrent peu d'intimité. Les normes sanitaires liées à la covid étaient peu affichées et peu respectées.

Firewood is way overpriced. Sewer connection too close to fresh water connection. Fairly well maintained and doing a good job during COVID.

I have stayed at the Owen Sound KOA many times over the years and always found it a pleasant experience. However this time I found a lot of in attention to guests, and indifference or an uncaring attitude. The washrooms were not clean and the pool water was dirty. I realize that covid19 has had an impact on my businesses, but I never thought I would have to send a bad review.

We booked in for 2 nights but left after one night. There were major power problems at our site and our air conditioner wouldn't run. We have 30 amp, 1 air conditioner. I tried using a surge protector and it kept shutting down the power every few minutes. So we left and came home.

Unfortunately our experience wasn't like the past, hopefully the new owners will improve the level of care Driveway to the campground shook the dishes out of the camper.... potholes Tree branches need to be trimmed to prevent damage to RV / trailer Emergency contact is via email only!! If you call after hours you just receive a message Lots of weeds around the office $$$$ Firewood

Bathrooms on top of the hill had a mess in all 3 stalls. Fire wood was the most expensive ive ever seen. $16 for 7 pieces! Pool was nice. Not a whole lot of things to do for kids. Play ground was cool but thats all they had had for kids to do. Staff was nice and friendly.

Park was almost empty and we were put in a lot with a lot of mud almost no grass. They should have offered a better site. I book the site off a photo. Disappointed. Pots and gardens were not keep up, store was empty, owners were around but not friendly at all. The only good Point was the campers, very pleasant people

Campsite was lovely. Hydro wasn’t working, which we knew when we took the site as no other full service sites were available. Hopeful hydro to this site can be fixed. Long gravel laneway entrance needed grading and dust control. Would stay here again!

Camped so hubby could work closer to his assignments. It was quiet, staff always looked busy and were always wearing there PPE. Friendly place.

During these difficult times of physical distancing it was reallly nice to be able to leave it all behind for a few days. Cabin was immaculate and we felt very safe our entire stay. We will be back.

They did not sell kindling and their wood needs that to burn effectively.my sewer connection was downhill considerably to the trailer..wrong direction for easy emptying..

Great stay at Owen Sound. Met wonderful neighbours at our roomy quiet site. Covid 19 protocols were in place regarding pool use etc. Nothing negative whatsoever. Can’t wait to again.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
