Couldn't buy firewood, firepit was full of water. Otherwise, a great place to stay.

Nice, small campground. Disappointed that there is a $20.00 fee to pick out your site. We were camping with 2 other families and wanted to be close to them. We do not like that they would not tell us what site we were on until checking in that day since we did not pay the $20.00. Hook ups for hydro and water were conveniently located at our site.

These are the Covid times .... with all the restrictions it is really hard to rate campgrounds so with that in mind I would recommend this campground to friends but I feel I cannot give a fair assessment of the campground until we return under more normal circumstances. My ratings above are simply based on how the campground dealt with the Covid restrictions. Thank you.

Found the site given for a 45ft motorhome a bit small, firepit right against the motorhome, had to pay for wifi (first time I've faced that with KOA),front desk person was very courteous and helpful. I feel that the campground needs a bit of a facelift. Well located for Owen Sound.

Very clean - I wish we had spent time there when the weather would have been a little warmer - would have loved to do more of the trails but they were alittle muddy. Too cold for us to use the pool.

You are still listing the Thomann family as the owners. They no longer are since January. We miss them cause the new owners don't or can't communicate with the guests. They are not as sufficient with washroom cleaning. No garbage cans inside the park. You have to go all the way out of the park. Not good for people with dogs. Hope prices don't go way up next year so we can still afford to come her

Great place for all, smaller, quiet. Great for families or couples. Pets welcome. Already booked back for another stay.

I originally booked at the KOA as I didn't want to be camping where people were partying all night long, unfortunately the people across from us were very loud and had no consideration for other people. Someone was also setting off fireworks and ripping their car around the campground roads until at least midnight one night. There is no security and anyone could enter the campground from outside.

This is a very nice affordable campground however it’s beginning to look a little dated/tired. I would expect to have a breaker/disconnect on the 30 amp receptacle to isolate power before plugging in. Unfortunately they were also running a little low/out of firewood. Having said all of this we would return!

Very noisey, listened to very loud music and people talking over their music, was not able to use the pool even when nobody was in it, the people we were camping with were suppose to be on site 62 when they went to check in their site was given away, our site was offered to them, the site they were given was far from acceptable for their trailer.Not Happy Campers with KOA Owen Sound won't be back

Great site. The facilities were clean and the proximity to Owen sound was helpful. Would love to see integrated fore cooking racks like at provincial parka.

The experience at the Owen Sound KOA has changed dramatically this year. We can not longer say that the experience is excellent/ The location is out of Firewood that was outrageously overpriced. The Store/Office is empty The Park is not nearly as clear or manicured as it was last year. There is no camper oversight and small groups are ruining the experience for the rest. Expensive. I could stay at a Holiday Inn for what you charge. Charging extra for my 94 year old mother in law, but kids under 16 free? You should be ashamed. If Owen Sound was not such a pretty town and close by my ratings would be lower.

This is our favorite private campground. Its on the Bruce Trail for one thing and the place is always clean and neat. Close to shopping and retail stores in Owen Sound. Only one thing. If you stay there do not let them give you site 037, it's a swamp. Nice spot but swampy. We will return and recommend it highly.

New owners comes new policies. You are always on camera. No garbages places around the camp ground. No one seems to be happy anymore and it’s subtle changes but u sure do notice them. Also $16 for firewood is criminal. $7 just outside the park and 10$ in other places. The stay was ok.

Site was extremely muddy needed more gravel where our trailer sat. Also the fire ring was full of water it needed more gravel or grate to enjoy a fire. We bought wood from the office and itwas very expensive ( 6 pieces for $16). Other than that we had a decent stay.

Very nice campground. Excellent pool for children and adults. Campsite was gravel where trailer sits. The grass part was not very good as it rained and became a little muddy.

Nous avons aimé les arbres sur notre site ainsi que la vue sur le lac. Les douches et toilettes sont bien entretenues. Le personnel est courtois, mais quelques mots en français comme «Bonjour» «Bienvenue chez KOA» serait apprécié. Nous avons moins aimé la poussière sur le chemin d'accès. Enfin, le WIFI devrait être inclus dans le prix et l'accès devrait se faire sans un revendeur. M

We can always trust KOA's as they have an excellent standard of service. However, that said, there were a few services that were below the norm. Although we reserved a 30 Amp site, there is no way the site was capable of delivering 30 Amps. During the hot, humid start of the week many RVs had their air conditioning on and I measured the supply voltage as low as 98 volts! Much more! No space!

Our RV site was right across from the lake. The site was nice and we had some privacy. The only negative comment would be the price of the firewood, $16.00 seemed a little high for how much you got.

The site was okay, the grounds aren't well kept and charging $16 for 10 little pieces of firewood is ridiculous. The Campground is okay but certainly nothing to get excited about.

Very clean washrooms and a pleasant atmosphere. It’d be nice to have some hiking/biking trails but not a dealbreaker. Very close to everything we needed.

The cost of Firewood is $ 16.00 for maybe 7 or 8 pieces of wood, you can go around the corner to a local farmer and get a full bag for $ 7.00. Also, I don't think the new owners has a clear understanding of Rv, Trailers or Fifth wheels when it comes to size, or turn radius required to get into a spot, or understand the size of spot that would suit the size of the rig. Lots of site changes done

we were there for 2 days and there was no TV reception , there was no WiFi, they charged $16.00 for a bundle of firewood. there was really nothing to do there. the road coming into the camp was so ruff and bumpy. . i did not enjoy my stay there at all and i have stayed in alot of different KOA.

My sister, a first time camper was quite impressed. I have enjoyed staying at a number of KOA campgrounds and have been very pleased with the helpful pleasant staff and clean facilities.

We stayed for two weeks. We were in site 43 which I do not recommend for more than an overnight stay. It has a covered septic sewer tank positioned directly opposite where you park your RV. The smell was often terrible. It ruined much of the experience. Fire wood was expensive for very little wood. No free WiFi. The store was barren. Access to Bruce Trail was very nice. Room for improvement.

It was great. The campground was so quiet and close to Owen Sound. The only negative comment was that we were there an hour early for check in and we were charged $10.00 fee.

Quieter than usual because of covid. We were given a very nice camp-site. Made a few trips into town, or just enjoyed walking around the campgrounds with our dog. This was our 3rd time at this KOA.

Great layout for the camp ground, and nice people, good facilities. Our only complaint is their line voltage is too low on the 30 A circuits. My system triped out when AC comes on. We had to move 3 times (best near supply source) to find lower line (pole)1 loss. Even then I had to switch fridge to propane to remove its 3 Amp draw for AC to work repliably.

Upon arrival the young lady was very rude, as if I interrupted her nap. Then they charged me a 10.00 early fee. Bathrooms were dirty. No security and vehicles were traveling quite fast, not good for kids. We won't be going back to this koa.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
