We have stayed at KOA's from Ontario to Nashville. The site we had at Owen Sound KOA (#11) was the biggest and most private of all... Wifi is an extra cost but very strong signal. Plenty of sites and trails in the area to explore. Shopping is close as well as most fast food restaurants if you are so inclined. Nice quiet campground!

During our stay, the line voltage would drop 6 or 7 volts when a 10 amp load was applied. Note - we had a 50 amp, full hookup site. With this 10 amp electrical load, the voltage would be 102 volts. During mid-day, the voltage would run about 107 volts without us having any load at all. This campground clearly has a problem with their electrical supply. Many other campers noticed the same thing.

The reason for the low marks was strictly for the fact that some people were smoking marijuana on their site and we could smell a couple of times a day. If you are to allow this to happen their should be a no pot section like their is a radio free section in provincial parks. The site was very good and the trails even more. Thanks

The employee on check-in wasn't very friendly. There was no courtesy escort to our campsite as we've experienced at other KOA's. The store shelves were pretty much empty and the main building needs a reno - very dark and old looking. Nothing was very welcoming. However our campsite was perfect, tree lined and large. Barely any activities compared to other KOA campgrounds for the same price.

Previous stay 1 month ago was a far superior experience near trout pond with more privacy at site. This stay on site 18 near pool was less enjoyable with less privacy, neighbor's picnic table was right under our RV and conversation kept us awake after 10 pm, much foot traffic passing constantly, fire pit almost on road. We hope to be able to request other part of park should we stay again.

Premium pull thru site yet to hookup sewer would be 30 ft of sewer hose. Pad is level but drops off so you sit on slope under awning.Store was bare except for ice cream. $16 for 9 pcs a fire wood and no kindling yet they say no outside firewood which can be purchased down the street for $5. Hydro was only 100 volts. Lawn needed mowing. Family campground that charges $3/day per child?????

Nice campground with lots for the kids to keep busy. Would be 5 stars if we could of had a lot with hydro, but very happy they accommodated us on such short notice.

There was an electrical outlet at our site but it wasn’t a serviced lot, just wondered why not. Also my mother was knocked to the ground by a loose dog trying to get her dogs which were leashed in her arms. Didn’t really get a proper response when we put in a complaint. Luckily at 72 she is still physically able to with stand a bit of bullying. Otherwise love the site sizes and worth our stay.

The washrooms looked quite clean, but we didn't use them because of covid. The garbage bins were far away, but may be because of covid. The grounds weren't trimmed quite as well as previously and there were no flowers planted in the containers. The wood was a ridiculous price of $ 16.00 for a bundle. We got to know the previous owners and they were very friendly. The new owners not quite so.

The park is quiet and fairly well kept up..but the fee for the park is steep. There is a $3/day fee per child to stay here and wood is $16 for 1 bag. Quite expensive.. for a family campground they sure charge you for having a family

An average campground - staff not overly friendly. Bring your own wood as we paid $32.00 for 14 small pieces of wood. Have never paid more than$8 of 9 dollars per bundle but the bundles are $16.00 and you get the shock when they drop them at your campsite.

We came up to visit friends and relax. I was very surprised to learn that you were charging for internet. It is the first camp grounds that I know of that is doing so. The price seems very expensive. I had nothing that justified paying those prices.

Staff was minimal and didn't answer the phone. Email only. Owners were nowhere to be seen. We opted to not pay the $20 to select our own site, but requested our site be away from the playground & pool. We were penalized because we didn't pay and put right beside both when we knew quieter sites were available. Nothing but a big money grab!! This makes us question our membership!!

Continuous power outages even though the campground was half empty, 50 amp sites. Sewer hookups are uphill. Kids playground has rotting wood and nails popping up. desk staff were nice and friendly, outdoor staff were not. $16 dollars for a bundle of firewood.

Our 50 amp Power Management system quite often tripped. Low voltage issues. Long gravel driveway from the road to the office was rough,muddy,washboardy. Needs repair. Staff driving around rarely acknowledged you or waved. Firewood. $16.00 a bag. I've never paid more than $10.00 at a KOA. Price gouging. New owner's and KOA should be embarrassed. Office staff were nice.

The site next to us were fighting until 2:00 in the , no garbages except at the exit (none on the site or even close to the site) , cost of firewood was absolutely ridiculous

Limited pool times due to covid regulations. No times available for us bc they had all been reserved already. Wood very expensive to buy. And laneway when leaving very bumpy with pot holes. Worst camp stay we’ve had all year. We won’t be back.

Très beau site, par contre il y avait un petit chien qui jappe Constemment ( proche du # 45) et il y avait une génératrice qui fonctionnais presque tout le temps , un peu désolant quand tu veut te reposer surtout le matin. Nous aurions aimé que les préposés qui se promène arrete nous voir à savoir si tout était ok.

Great site!! Close to pool and playground. But private. Camp grounds kept extremely clean and neat. Pool had very little if any chorlene. Store only had a couple of items to choose from due to covid-19 . Didn’t seem to have enough staff considering how large the property is. Loved our stay, I can only imagine how great when life gets back to normal. Thank to the staff!

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
