Nice Campgrounds but not much to do.

Obviously COVID-19 has had an impact on the camping experience, however the overall feeling of being welcome was not there. Also, a tiny bit of wood for $16 a bag ensures that wood comes in from all over.

Le pire Koa jamais visité et pourtant nous campons toujours dans les Koa aux USA et au Canada. Nous avions réservé 3 jours et jamais le front desk a réalisé que 2 nuits étaient séparés d’une autre nuitée additionnelle. À midi le jour de l’a deuxième nuitée, la dame nous appelle pour nous dire que l’on doit partir. Nous lui disons que nous avons une troisième nuit. Malpropre

The park is still a clean, prestine place to visit but garbage collection is non existant and water pressure fluctuations need to be corrected to help support the price increases that the new owners have implemented.

Friendly Staff, clean Environment, feel safe, but wish KOA Owen Sound have more activity for the Kids to do.

The park is large and has ample space for hiking. Bruce Trail is right there! The playground is great! The pool is big and a great temperature. The pool is not accessible, which for older guests or those with joint disease who would benefit from this pool the most is a huge problem, there are NO stairs only ladders. They also need to have overnight patrols and a number to call for problems.

Clean and lovely place to stay. Hope to book it again. Not sure why I get charged for kids and adults. We were in the RV and just needed a place to park.

Owen Sound KOA changed hands definitely going through some adjustment Covid didn’t help. Water issues all weekend. We’re without water more than with. Never came around explained what was going on. Pool rules were great but families weren’t following the sign up sheet times etc. Grass not cut at entrance no flags. Store empty. Two motor homes on one site. Hydro issues. Hope improves.

it was nice, l would like to see is a gate that needs a card/pin code to come in, people across from us who had a booze and a food delivery, then a taxi 2x's. and they just wiped through the grounds. the is no regulations of speed. l believe with the gate and having them go and get it, it would have been much quieter. But we would for sure go back. Also firewood way to expensive $16 a bag ouch

Love this place!!! Generous lots, privacy and clean . Grounds are very well maintained. Covid 19 regulations are followed and respected. Pool is open but swim tome needs to be scheduled in advance. Ssfe, family oriented environment.

New owners...park is not like it usually is. Store was empty, grass not cut, weeds everywhere. Had no water from 8 pm till 3 pm next day. Owner said "it was because it is so dry". Meanwhile other parts of camp had water.

Nice campground, second time we stayed here in 5years The spot assigned was the tightest of them all, where the slide out hit the trees on one side and the awning the trees on the other side. No water for quite some time the second last day into the early morning with no explanation. Shelves in the store 90% empty ($8+ for a roll of toilet paper!) and the staff didn’t seem they want to be there

Park staff seems to only be interested in selling firewood for a very inflated price. There are weeds growing everywhere around the park. grass gets cut but no trimming. Check in is slow, only one person on duty at the desk even during busy times. Cleaning of facilities is very minimal and only the basics get looked after. Park was supposed to be full, but there were always empty sites all over.

Previous owners kept things much cleaner...bathrooms didn't have soap or paper towel one morning...new owners might just be getting used to how to run the campground so we will likely go back BUT our stay was not as pleasureable this time...probably due to the high standards previous owners had established (especially in regards to cleanliness)

We wanted a 50-amp site so we could run our fifth wheel trailer without any problems. It appears Owen Sound KOA has a serious hydro problem. When I used my surge protector, I would consistently have a power reading of < 104v which will have the SP cut power to the trailer. After the first day we could not use the SP if we wanted any hydro. We ended up running everything we could on propane.

Booked with our friends side by side but we we're 10 sites away. Wood was very expensive at $16. Unorganized front desk.Talking to seasonal residents they are allso disapointed lately with park conditions.��

Nicely laid out campground. sites are nice. watch out for premium sites $5 extra, kids $5 extra, dogs $5 extra 8 pieces of firewood $16 sorry But I'll never go back Lady at the counter will look after you as soon as she stops texting on her phone, makes you feel welcome instead of an inconvenience (sic)

KOA standards are going down for what you pay ! Use to be well groomed and now very little is done, this is my second KOA and most likely will not book KOA again

Park was clean, staff are friendly. Garbage receptacles located around the park would be much better than having to walk or drive your garbage out beyond the front gate. Also, your firewood is highly over priced compared to what you get! However, the park is clean, quiet, friendly and well maintained. I would certainly recommend it and would come back.

We had a wonderful time. Took our 2 year old grandson with us. The park has a warm and friendly atmosphere! Clean camp grounds, friendly staff :) highly recommended. This was our second stay at the Owen Sound KOA :)

Quaint place. Easy access to town. Lots of naturalarea to cycle and walk. Park is very rustic, natural. No issues with water, 30amp electric or sewer hookups. Main office / store closes early, 6pm. Had to drive to town to grab a bag of ice at 6:15pm. There were 2 parties trying to check in just after 6pm and had no idea where to go, which site to choose. Ok place to stay but low on KOA standards

We enjoy the beautiful trees, the clean campground and the quietness at night. We have stayed at KOA's across the U.S. and none of them were as nice as this one. Your staff do a great job.

The campground was clean with OK water pressure. The electrical was not working on several sites and we were not able to stay on the site the we had selected initially. The price of firewood was way to much. $16 for 8 pieces of wood. We understand that COVID is happening and services were going to be limited, however the price was the high for basically a place to park your camper.

Always like to come to KOA Owen Sound. Staff are great - even behind their masks ! One complaint - there are no longer garbage bins on the upper level area by the pond. You have to take it all the way out past the entrance . I saw several bags of garbage dumped in the blue bins and actually watched one camper toss his garbage in a blue bin. Surely a dumpster could be placed up there somewhere .

I was disappointed that I did not see one container of hand sanitizer anywhere in your park! I think there should've been some available once you entered the office area and in the washrooms...during these Covid times I was shocked there was none available...we must all do our part to stay safe...

30 amp circuit breaker kept tripping. Had to use generator. Road in very rough, rutted, and dusty. Not good at all for newly cleaned toy hauler and motorcycles.

We paid $20 extra to book our site ....but upon check-in we were not informed that the section we were in was experiencing electrical issues and campers were allowed to run their generators day and night! �� we only found when we spoke to a camper 2 sites over from us!

Firewood is way overpriced. Sewer connection too close to fresh water connection. Fairly well maintained and doing a good job during COVID.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
