This KOA is purely a home base with very few amenities or activities for campers staying more then a couple days. There is a lot to do in the area which off sets this a bit.

RV and towing vehicle was a mess by the time we got to site . Long,dry and dusty road to main office . 11pm fire out policy is crazy. . Expensive firewood and no outside firewood allowed yet seasonal people allowed to bring in wood from wherever. Charge extra for children. Washrooms were cited as very clean but were not. 4 inches of mildew on bt.of shower curtain. Good place to stay away from .

Campground layout is nice; service is awful! Lady checking us in Friday wqs rude. They operate the place like a Police state. Security rolled up and yelled, "Dowse it!" Instead of explaining rules. Owners treat customers like children, I coulnd't visit my friends site in my truck, even though I was staying in the park. Goughing at the store ($198, for a 25ft 30 Amp cord.) Will never go bac

Site sucked No privacy Had to book pool slots instead of just able to jump in Was placed far from friends front desk didn’t even attempt to accommodate Lots of flies everywhere No activities for the kids

stayed for 7 days. Really quiet campground. Was central to where we wanted to visit. One negative was they do not deliver wood to campsite as we are seniors and find it difficult to carry the wood...

Communication is lacking, hard to find workers. Pool is nice, bathrooms need more cleaning. Otherwise a nice stay

Perfect atmosphere. close to many attractions to visit. My only issue was you only get 45 min in th pool and only 15 people are allowed in, wasnt that big of a deal though, we just drove down to the spend the day at the beach!

Understanding with covid things are different, there however wasn't much to do. The pool has to be booked and only 1 slot per day for 45 min, this should be on the website as we were not aware before arriving. We had an issue with a washing machine that was advised to the staff in the store. We had to resolve ourselves as there was no additional soap to buy and no money was refunded.

Beau camping tranquille sur semaine mais beaucoup plus occupé la fin de semaine. Un peu plate que nous devons payer un surplus si nous voulons avoir du wifi.

This is a great home base if you're visiting the Owen Sound area. We love that it's tucked away from the main highway so there's no road noise at night. The sites are spacious and well-treed, and all the campers around us were very respectful of the campground's quiet hours. Definitely recommend!

Not as well set up as other koa that we have stayed at.would like to see more of the cottage style cabins for families. With the pool closed on Wednesday and having to sign up for 45 minutes at a time didn’t leave much choice for spontaneous swimmin . Life has been too structured with COVID and most families just need to be able to go with the flow when trying to have a some what normal vacation

Not a steady supply of power. Could not use my surge protector because of low voltage. Would shut down power supply to trailer. Would be nice to have some garbage containers in the upper portion of the park. Quite a walk for seniors to get rid of garbage.

Il faudrait aviser les gens que les terrains L32-33-34 sont très près de la piscine! La mappe du terrain ne démontre pas la proximité! C’était très bruyant assez souvent….mais autrement, c’était excellent, je recommande malgré le bruit de la piscine �!

hydro was not as what we reserved 50 full service could only get 30 amp not 50 broke sites small tight turns for 40 ft rv coming out of our site, on site septic great nothing much in store to purchase we would have likes magnets anything saying KOA Owen Sound good thing about these ground were clean grass cut , garbage bin away from camping area no raccoons etc, pond pretty lots of small birds

We had major hydro issues. No AC in the extreme heat and humidity. New owners tried to help but nothing worked. We pd for 30 amp service. Had to throw out a lot of spoiled food too .Couldn't run a fan and use a kettle or toaster at the same time. Very frustrating. Park was quiet while we were there. Its small nothing like what KOA is portrayed to be. Will be hesitant to return to another KOA.

We stayed in site u62. Beautiful site with privacy and afternoon shade. The only improvement I would make would be to add gravel to the muddy areas.

Site was small with a tree in the way of the awning. Fires out at 11:00 is ridiculous. Arrived at 12:30 but not allowed to check in until 1:00 even though the site was ready. Line up of trailers waiting to check in formed because of that. That was absurd!

It was our first experience with our 5th wheeeler and it all went without issue, friendly staff and exceptionally clean, wifi was impossible but that was a good thing being with grandkids we had quality time

Stayed for a few weeknights. Campsite was small and muddy due to rain, very little space to park our truck after pulling out slideouts. Positive is the campground was always quiet after 11. Overall a good stay.

Customer service was wonderful. Campsite was clean and private. My son is staying there now. This is my first KOA experience but not my last.

The campground was very clean and quiet. The seasonal campers were very nice and so was the staff. The hiking trails were well marked and maintained. Only having 45 mins of pool time/day (covid restrictions) was hard on the kids as it was a very hot week and not much else to do to keep cool within the park. Owen Sound is just a short drive and offers some fun attractions. We would stay here again.

I've been camping at this campground for a almost 10 years and I have to say that the change of ownership hasn't been good for it. The level of service is definitely not as good as it used to be (does it have anything to do with the new designation as a "Journey" location?). I really like the area but I think would be looking at a new place next time around.

We had a good stay. We had problems with our electric but was offered a booster and that seem to make the world of difference. Loved the pool.

Second time staying here and it was good. The RV 2 sites over was running their generator all weekend even though we were on 30A sites. Not a word was said to them to turn it off. Other than that everything was good.

It was great to be able to walk part of the Bruce trail right from the campground. Very quiet yet only 5 minutes from Owen Sound. Bathrooms were clean, modern and showers spacious.

I found the stringent rules to be very off putting. I arrived ten minutes early and had to wait or Pay. Although we were quiet, we were told to have the fire out by 11. These two things would prevent me from returning. The bathroom times are posted but my husband was told he couldn’t enter because they were cleaning early. Why post times if they aren’t adhered to? Wood is too expensive.

Monitored outside security for fires out at 11 was a bit much, especially what you pay for both site and wood.

Clean washrooms/showers, nice park with off leash dog park, pool, and pond/sitting area. Only negatives were 1HR WIFI, fires out @11pm and recycling overflowing/emptied only on Friday.

Very boring park. No privacy between sites. Firewood expensive and wet. Pool was way over chlorinated. Staff was friendly but would have appreciated more knowledge of the area instead of "google it".

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
