Very nice park, sites vary to suit any camping style. The campground is not ultra fashionable but covers all basics required We found both the staff and owners very friendly and attentive. Staying at this park u can take advantage of being close to town as well as being directly on the Bruce trail. We camped at a brand new site that we thought was really overpriced compared to what u got.

Good place to park for local hiking on Bruce Trail. Sites aren't too large. Decent water pressure. Some free internet is provided - 1 hr at a time with a code. Just used our own data instead.

Park electrical hook up had a ground issue, owner said it was my surge protector(had it check when i got home operating correctly. Nabors adjoining us also had issues had to run their generator. No activities for the kids like every other KOA we have stayed at. No garbage pick up, grass was not cut on our site.

Très beau site , un peu loin au milieu de nulle part ,mais avons bien apprécié la beauté du terrain et son entretien ,propre Notre site était adjacent à la piscine par contre,donc un peu bruyant

We had a wonderful stay. At our site the power source kept tripping for some reason. At 3 other koa locations in Ontario they delivered wood and ice to your site , this one didn’t. Also when we checked in there was an extremely large group of 14 other people in the office which was very inconvenient as they were loud making our check in not pleasant

I was booked for site 004 and then apron arrival was told I would be on l14. I asked to be moved to a different location. Was told the owner would come see us. Two days later the owner comes to see us. We were not allowed to move. Was not happy with that. Then on the last day we had to move to the upper section for one day witch was frustrating. Put more money into grounds and sites.

Le terrain a été trempé toute la semaine malgré le fait qu’il n’a pas eu de pluie cette semaine. Le mercredi la piscine était fermé toute la journée et la température était très chaude.

The campground was clean but it was a little disappointing for the kids. The playground is not really a playground except for a couple slides and swings. There is not much to do here for kids at all, and being a family campground I think they can do more for entertainment such as a splash pad or revamped playground. Not a place I would recommend to anyone with children.

We arrived shortly after 8PM on a Friday. Office closed at 8PM Map and check in info was taped to the door for us. Upon arrival our Electrical didn’t work and office wasn’t open till Following morning at 10AM We couldn’t reach anyone by phone and no park staff roaming grounds that we noticed Had to wait till office opened to get them to check their breakers. Clean well kept place

Askedyou use some of my points as a request on my reservation, mentioned it again when booking in , again when checking out. NOT BAPPY I WAS TOLD THEY HAD READY PUT THE PAPER WORK THROUGH AND COULDN'T DO IT FOR ME EVEN AFTER I HAD PAID FOR ANOTHER YEAR. MEMBERSHIP. Not sure I wod stY there again unles they could .ame up for my disappointment.

Our stay was very good. We would just suggest not to dig the fire pits too deep. If and when it rains the fire pits are in a hole and therefore can not be used. In note though, we went to the office and asked for gravel and it was there within 15 minutes to remedy the situation. Our fires were awesome then !

We asked to move many times as we were placed on a torn up mud pit on a bush corner, we ended up having to stay there for the entire week. The seasonal campers across from us were less than friendly. We pay a good amount of money for our stay and got quite a bad experience. No above and beyond from this KOA

This was our 2nd time staying here as it is a very quiet with well kept grounds & close to city attractions. Even though it rained a lot, our site was dry.

The spaces were very small. There aren’t many trees for shade. Our site was very close to the pool and playground so it was noisy all day long. The staff was friendly though.

The playground and pool were great. Staff was friendly. Only downside was the small campsite. Not a lot of real estate to take advantage of. But everything else was wonderful.

Clean and well organized campground. Close to town (for those "oops I forgot something") but remote enough to be absolutely quite at night. Lots of different types of sites, from private to more open for multiple trailer get gathering. We will be back.

Our sites 30amp power wasn’t working, and since we checked in late we had to wait until the next morning. The office opens late, 10am. The pool schedule was 90% booked by 10:05am by one large group. No chairs to sit on around pool area because staff are too lazy to sanitize between pool times. No dog park! Wet grounds after rainfall.

Great location near shopping but also secluded enough for quiet stay, saw otter in upper pond that had clear mountain water and beautiful rushing stream! We'll be back there when passing thru

Would like to see some trees trimmed up as the branches were caught up in our camper on the site. The 11:00 shut down seems a little early if we are quietly enjoying our campfire.

great staff, very helpful, we had bad weather (rain) so we left earlier than the 10th but very nice grounds and very clean.

Our stay was better than the last time with the new ownership but some annoyances are, when booking you have know idea where your site is unless you pay more! Extra charge for pets and expensive firewood is a money grab, pool closed all day Wednesday annoying, free wifi is limited to an hour and is cumbersome to navigate. Really miss when the old owners would stop by and ask if everything was ok.

Great clean sites, very friendly staff and overall a great family camp ground. Even though we had two days of rain and out site was a mud pit we still had a great time and the mud wasn't KOA's fault. Two days of putting rain made most sites soft and muddy.

We found our stay very frustrating as it seemed there were extra charges for everything and even when we paid them we were asked to pay again. Halfway thru out stay they implemented a new rule to have all fires out by 11 pm which is quiet hour. I understand being respectful and that some people go to bed then but if you are being quiet than why can’t you sit out at the fire?

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have to keep our park quite after 11pm, Campfire has to be extinguish before 11pm,you have been asked to read thru the rules before you check in. Thank you for keeping the park quite so others can have a good sleep.

Not much to do. Lots of water collected at our site. The sites are not sloped properly. Old bathrooms and laundry room.

Terrain propre, mais le courant 50 ampères est épouvantable….. du jamais vu. Quand on paye pour du 50 ampères et que nous n’avons même pas 30 ampères, pour moi, c’est inacceptable. Nice camping clean, but when we pay for 50 amps and we don’t even get 30, for us it is non acceptable.

Our stay was pleasant enough. It was quiet and the staff were very nice. Because of the heavy rainfall throughout the week we found it very muddy. I feel a little more could be spent in updating the campground. It looks a little run down and in need of more stone or cement/pavement on sites and definitely on the road into the campground. The pool was lovely on the one day we were able to use it.

The environment of the camp is very quiet and the scenery is beautiful. It's easy to get in and out, and it's not far from town, so it's convenient for shopping. But the road in and out of the camp is a gravel road, which is too bumpy and uneven. It may be because of COVID-19 that there has been no one in the office.

Overall very nice, clean and organized. Spaces well maintained. Facilities clean and cared for. Firewood cost was excessive for bundle quantities. Would bring my own on future trips.

It is clean and quiet place, but the washroom was a little bit far away. I double booked the place but the owner was kindly give me credit for next visit. Thank you KOA's team.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
