The office, washrooms and showers were very clean. The English lady at the desk was so pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Many of the tent sites are very close together. Often hard to get a car and tent in. In this day and age WIFI should be available at the office or directly outside free of charge

Wish the roads were packed earth and not stones that fly everywhere and kick up a bunch of dust but everything’s else was great! Clean washrooms, nice pool, clean campsites. The wood is too expensive and I would advise everyone to bring their own.

Nice grounds however, big variance on the lot sizes and quality... we got a terrible roadside tent site inches from 2 roads and 2 other camp sites... didn't sleep a wink. Tried to change and was not allowed. If you can pick your site then this would be a great place to stay, otherwise you might get shafted with a horrible site.

The area is nice and staff are friendly. However, I felt like our campsite (tenting) was too close to the neighbour's, especially during these times...I had expected more distance between us. Even though quiet time started at 11pm, the group next to us were pretty loud right up until 1am, until someone came to yell at them which didn't end well. Overall it was alright for one night..

Would have been great if the washrooms were cleaned more often with the number of people staying at the campground especially during a time when cleanliness is crucial due to covid. Towards the evenings the washrooms were filthy and remained so until it was attended to the next day.

Neighboring campsites were making so much noise talking, laughing with car stereo blaring unfamiliar sounds. Worst noise was at midnight by men who seem to be part of their group setting up tent right behind mine! My 2 emails to management didn't really help. Then the midnight noise was a nightmare. How does one get help at midnight if people ignore the rules? Luckily they left next day!

We did not have a good experince in terms of service. Specially, service provided by Miss Ashley at front desk. She was really unfriendly, unwelcoming and rude towards guest. We do understand that it gets really busy but no guest should be treated with attitude. Secondly, we booked 8 spots paid for 3 days and extra 5 dollers for extra car and we were able to stay there for only 1 1/2 days.

Had a good time. 2nd time here but the site we had 71 is not the best. Nothing is level so hard to put a tent on it. To much noise after 11 for a family campground.

Facilities were nice, however, it was party city. Our neighbours were tremendous. They spent the day and evening blaring music from their car (with a subwoofer) and screaming at their kids. The park seemed to encourage or at least permit drinking like crazy and poor parenting.

some campers were loud and rude and actually tried starting a fight in front of their children and ruined my last night there i had fun most of the time until that happened then i was scared to stay at my site and sleep

Staff and facilities were 5 star, site was good but lacking some separation from neighbouring sites, enforcement of 11 pm (or even later) quiet time was limited to not happenning at all. All and all a clean campground and will try again.

Our stay was bad because we asked for 2 campsite beside each other for our large family, but they gave us different campsites. Even after confirming so many times over the phone, they messed it up. We were really disappointed. Very bad customer service since they gave us false information. Otherwise it was well maintained. But our family couldn't enjoy.

Basically a parking lot. No separation between sites. Could hear people screaming and partying all night. Site itself was very tiny. I will be sticking to ontario parks campgrounds. Way better

We had a great quiet break. Well organised and efficient contact. Clean. Friendly too. Coming every year now. Great for the outdoors. Decent well run. Anyone leaving bad reviews I suspect are mostly disrespectful types.

Absolutely amazing experience ! The staff was very friendly , the site was beautifully cared for and the entire area was well maintained , the bathrooms in particular were beyond my expectations for a camp ground .

Les espaces communs étant fermés, nous n'avions pas de refuge en cas de gros orage. Nous avons donc quitté un jour plus tôt sans aucun dédommagement. Les terrains sont petits offrent peu d'intimité. Les normes sanitaires liées à la covid étaient peu affichées et peu respectées.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was our first "vacation" since COVID and I was very happy with how things were handled. It was all very organized, clean and a very enjoyable stay! We'll definitely be coming back!

It’s a great place, I wish their was alittle more too do. Also very well maintained. Sadly our entire trip was rained out, we actually ended up leaving a day early as the damp and cold makes me sore, and hard To get any sleep(tenting) but overall anything negative about our trip had nothing to do with the KOA

Site was not Grassy as promise on Reservation, Fires burning at 3am,People setting up tent at 2am,Washrooms for tent area no hot water,table provided was dangerous,we reported but nothing was done. No security at gate,anyone could just enter

Great stay at the Owen Sound KOA. Tent site was shady and private. Very calm and quiet campground. Felt very comfortable with COVID precautions. Bathrooms quiet and very clean.

Very nice campground, washrooms were very clean. Pool was great! My only complaints are that the firewood is too expensive for what you get and the washrooms are so far from the tent sites, they are right in with the RV \trailer sites, which makes no sense since the RV’s have washrooms. Other than that our 4 night stay was great!

The issue was with the cleaning of washrooms which was done once a day and garbage removal. Especially during covic should have been done more often. The pool did not seem to be heated.

The stay was good and the staff was supportive. The only reason for 4 star is that the camp ground was a bit sloppy so our tent was on a slope.

The woman in the office ( a little bit older with an accent) is not friendly. I’d go as far to say borderline rude. We bought two bags of wood but they did not deliver until we drove back to the office to complain hours later. They then delivered 1 bag and had to come back. Sites are decent. Amenities are bare minimum. I’ve been to a lot of KOAs and this is near the bottom.

Very friendly and helpful staff from the time we arrived and left. Really liked the rules of the swimming pool only down fall is when the people that have it booked don’t show up and other people could be using it. Found the wood little expensive for the amount of pieces you get. Only negative point about the stay was the partying and yelling going on at 2:30 am on the Sat night from 1 site,

Awful. I was tent camping. After I checked in I went to my campsite and someone else was already set up there but not at the site at that time. I went back to the office and it was closed. I called both phone numbers and emailed and never got a response so I had to just find another empty site to use. At night it was loud until 3 am with people yelling and drunk. What a terrible experience.

This KOA has become a yearly trip for my family and I now. This site has always been very kept tidy and clean. Especially the bathroom. as they make sure regular cleaning happens there, so trips to the bathroom do not require a gas mask or any bio hazmat suit. With two active boys, my wife and I really appreciate the amenities the campground offers to keep them busy. The hiking trails are pretty fantastic, and the staff are super friendly. The pool is even salt water pool, which really just tops things off. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place to camp; a more authentic experience than a certain local park in Owen Sound. Lovely playground, swimming pool, and cabins, spacious sites and a beautiful pond. Great trails to walk as well.
