We have stayed here before. The Hosts are helpful and friendly. The camp ground is updated and kept clean and landscaped beautifully for being in such hot climate.

The owners are super nice and helpful. Very clean bathrooms and campground. Nice location for seeing Picacho Peak and the ostrich farm.

Great campground, very relaxing and close to all you can explore in the area. Well run by the owners, could not give over the trees & flower bushes!

Picacho/Tucson is just about half way from my home in California to my property in Texas. I have stopped there a few times now and the owner greats me with a smile and she knows my name when I pull up.

OMG this place is an Oasis in the desert. Beautiful cactus gardens, lots of trees, flowering hedges around the perimeter. The staff is so considerate and kind. Well maintained property and so much nicer than the treeless parking lot campgrounds around them. Make your stay at this KOA.

Started out for just one night..but we really enjoyed it so stayed an extra night. The dog area was awesome! Did not get to enjoy it but the pool looked refreshing. We will be back �

Very nice people, clean park and a weel maintained facilities. This was our first time using a KOA in 30 years and the because I was so impressed with this one. I have decided to join KOA as a yearly member.

Nice place, well kept, some shade. Cons are that it is close too the highway, and a busy railroad. I would definitely stay again though.

The park is attractive and neat, with friendly helpful owners, movies to lend and other nice amenities. The spaces are all very wide and have nice sized trees. There is road noise, but that is to be expected with the convenience of being close to Interstate 10. Would be helpful to have stronger wifi.

Nice campground, we've stayed here a couple of times. If the wind is just right, the corrals next door can be a little odoriffic (is that a word?). The sites are a pretty descent size and the staff is very friendly. If I were to change anything I would put the dumpster next to the trail going to the exit, would be a lot more convenient.

Very quiet. Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming as we did not call ahead for a reservation.

Large spots with plenty of shade. The bathrooms were clean but needed some updating. The pool was less then desirable

We Enjoyed the stay. The owner is a hard worked and generally a good guy. There were some power outages in the area for several days in a row when the temperatures were unseasonably warm for late March- early April.

We had an amazing weekend at Picacho KOA!!! The staff is extremely friendly and always had a smile on their faces!! We rented the cabin for 3 nights. It’s was very clean, had plenty of extra linens & towels. The refrigerator was good size (bigger than a typical hotel). We didn’t use the microwave, but it’s an option. Fire pit was clean when we got there. Great place to stay!!!

The only thing that was irritating was the blackouts that were happening . I believe they were electric company caused but it started to get a little warm . The owners were great they did everything they could to help us. This place is great clean wonderful patios with furniture! We will be back for sure.

We arrived late Thursday and were booked through the weekend. We were given our choice of spots. We chose a nice shaded spot with mature shade trees. The campground is welcoming and has beautiful landscaping with many varieties of cacti. The pool was open but they said it wasn’t quite warm yet. The restrooms and showers were very clean. It was short, but pleasant. It is easy to get to from I-10. We checked in after hours.....easy. pull through location was good. Hookups easy to access. Temperature was very pleasant and the park was quiet. It was a good experience.

Lost power twice during one week stay for a couple of hours each. Not good with hot afternoon temps. Pool was not heated although it was supposed to be. BRs and showers were clean but a very dusty park.

Nice campground, clean and well kept. Easy check in friendly staff! We chose this campground because it was located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson and we were spending time in both places. And Picacho State Park is right down the road…great hiking we really enjoyed it. Only downside is traffic and train noise.
