We stayed 8 nights the week of Thanksgiving. The hosts and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The sites were large and the K9 park was outstanding. The store was well stocked and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. This is one of the best campgrounds we have stayed at and look forward to coming in the near future.

Convenient location between Tucson and Phoenix. Very clean well maintained park. Owners were accommodating! Playground was enjoyed by our toddler grandson. Nice dog area with full agility course.

Very clean well maintained campground. Deluxe patio sites are very nice. Spotless VERY WARM heated pool- great for kiddos. Nice dog run. Nice playground. Nice staff. Convenient to Highway. Very nice stay.

Staff is nice and friendly! Not to mention, i love that they keep the grounds nice and clean. This is our second time staying here. We will be back :)

We took our grandkids here for a quick getaway weekend. We all had a wonderful time. The owners are very nice. The campgrounds are well maintained and clean. We were very grateful that the pool was heated. The kids ages 5 and 3 loved the playground! We planned on visiting the ostrich farm that is close by but the kids were enjoying just hanging out we never left the campground.

Well managed and clean place to stay near Tucson. Cool new owners have invested time and heart into reviving this classic KOA. Super friendly hosts and fantastic homemade picked beets and eggs if not sold out.

Had a friend drop me off at the campground. The owner chased us down on foot screaming at us to stop because my friend's car did not have a KOA sticker and he was driving too fast. He got to the car, knocked on the window and said, "what are you doing here?!" After scolding us he came back later and threatened to kick us out! Never heard a KOA employee speak to a guest like that. We never argued

Thank you for staying with us, sorry you couldn't follow our rules. I am not a KOA employee; this is my private property, which I am liable for. Our rules clearly state that visitors must first register at the office, must display a car pass, and number one most important, must drive 5 MPH.

Highlights - the owners are fabulous!! The dog park make my pooch very happy and the landscaping all over the park is really nice. We will be back on our next trip across county.

Easy after-hours check-in. Site was big and hook up was easy. Loved the cacti around our site and the whole campground. Didn’t use any amenities due to COVID but the pool and dog run looked nice.

The hosts were great, very friendly and helpful. They have a nice dog park, playground and pool area. The campground and restrooms were very clean! We will be back!

Great small camp ground, staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the sight they put us in. We will be going back again. It's very convienient right off the freeway and close to home for us. All the campers were friendly and saying good morning and even waving goodbye to us when they left. Will be glad when the restaurant is open again so we may try it. Thank you Picacho, wonderful stay.

We were impressed with the park, we stayed at Picacho a few years back and was amazed at all the upgrades to the park. Job well done!! We will be back. :)

Great location whether you are headed south or north on I-10. Staff were prompt, kind and very welcoming. Nice angled spaces so you feel like you have some privacy. One of the most open spaced KOAs we've been to in AZ state. Will plan to be back!

Not crazy about the freeway and train noise, but the folks at this KOA were super helpful. There was a sewer issue, but they jumped right on it and fixed it. The dog park was great! Very clean park!

Very nice, clean and easy to get to. The only drawback was the freeway noise and train noise. But that’s not their fault. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

This was our first trip out with new RV/trailer. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Even though it was a short distance from home, we will definitely be back. Thank you for the great service.

Super Loud, Partying neighbors, no enforcement of quiet time, right next to highway. Not worth the KOA premium.

The park was nice and clean. Nice trees and plants. The only two downsides were the freeway and train noise and the flies from the horse facility to the south. The owners were great to work with to get us set up to do a group rally.

We had to come in after dark. They made sure to assign us a spot that was long enough for our rig and tow car. Very great service.

Nice campground, clean and well kept. Easy check in friendly staff! We chose this campground because it was located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson and we were spending time in both places. And Picacho State Park is right down the road…great hiking we really enjoyed it. Only downside is traffic and train noise.
