This is one of our "go to" campgrounds. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and gracious. The grounds are well kept up and they have made so many improvements to the grounds. We will return again and again.

From the moment we arrived on Friday until we left on Sunday, everyone was wonderful!! Like any place it is about the people and the Picacho KOA people were fantastic. The entire park was neat and clean workers were constantly "sprucing things up". We will definitely be back!!

Very friendly staff and very clean campground. Laundry and bathroom very clean. Only negative is the highway noise and train noise.

So we were gonna stay long term but plans changed after two weeks. The sites were level and roomy. We loved the pool and park. They had activities on site more so for adults but they had a kids movie night which I wish we could have gone to. Others reviews I saw complained that people would get stopped coming in. They are just watching there park for strangers i for one loved it! It was a great!

Very nice park. Large sites are nice. Alot of road noise. A Little on the spendy side.

When we arrived after office hours, our campsite was six inches underwater due to a recent rainstorm. We could not use the gray or black water dumps as they were completely submerged. In the morning, we moved to a vacant spot to empty the tanks and the owner yelled at us for moving without permission even when I pointed out the flooding at the original site. Not a friendly place to stay.

The Picacho KOA is a clean and well maintained park and we enjoyed our stay there. The only thing I would have liked to have had were cable hookups.

This place was fine for a 1 night stay. They have the best dog park that we've seen in all the KOA's we've stayed at. The sites are close together and it's a bit confusing if you arrive after dark as to where your actually supposed to drive. We were surprised to see that the laundry closed at 7, as I had hoped to do a couple of loads when we arrived.

Enjoyed our stay at this KOA! Loved our concrete patio with supplied rocking chairs and fire pit. Grounds were beautifully maintained with plenty of cactus and trees. Our dog loved the dog park each morning which was kept clean and tidy. Our kids enjoyed playing in the heated pool and the playground, all nicely maintained and clean. Great bathrooms with showers and laundry facilities.

We stayed for a week over New Years. Ryan and Felicia and their extended family were all very pleasant and accommodating. It was our first KOA stay and it was very obvious they are doing a lot of improvements and updating. Bathhouse was always spotless. Definitely recommend this location and will definitely return.

We stayed for two weeks over the christmas season and had a great time. The family that runs this campground is very warm and inviting. I would recommend this place to all.

We stayed here on our west bound travels and returned again as we returned thru the area. This KOA is well maintained and plenty of room to drive around and set up our site. The ladies in the front office were very professional and made our reservations easy over the phone. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. The bathroom house were also well maintained and very clean.

A beautiful oasis! Stayed one night, the highway & trains are loud but the hospitality & facilities make it worth it. Wonderful landscaping & excellent hosts/staff! We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was wonderful. The campground was clean and we'll organized. They even lent us a converter in order to plug our 30 amp rig into the 50 amp site . We will definitely be staying here again. We stayed here on 12/28/21.

Overall it was fine. I didn't appreciate being approached by the host on my last day, before I even parked, told that driving thru sites (what I did to get to my site) was prohibited and did I have a sign for my car? I never saw a rule about driving through sites and yes, I had the sign for my car. I was treated rudely. Am I a customer or an inconvenience? I am a solo female camper bothering no on

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The rules plainly state that you must drive 5 MPH, not cut through vacant sites, and display a yellow tag, or that you must leave. Repeated disregard for our safety rules and repeated asks to follow them IS an inconvenience, but we value our customers and no one was trying to be rude. - Ryan, owner

Nice campground, clean and well kept. Easy check in friendly staff! We chose this campground because it was located halfway between Phoenix and Tucson and we were spending time in both places. And Picacho State Park is right down the road…great hiking we really enjoyed it. Only downside is traffic and train noise.
