The stay was good I’ve been going there for years, unfortunately I won’t be coming back as the lake/private beach is now infested with leeches

This was our first time RVing so it was what I would call a Shake out exercise. We learnt a lot of things on this trip and the staff at Renfrew/Ottawa West were a great help. Thank you again for all the assistance and guidance in making our what is hope is the first of many stays at a KOA campground an enjoyable one.

Campground was pleasantly placed on the small spring fed lake. There are quite a number of seasonal campers. Available sites were tight and small. We were surrounded by chain smokers ,multiple per site, we are non smokers ,could not sit at our picnic table with the continuous second hand smoke ...very unpleasant for us.

Very disappointing; Campground lots are very small & does NOT have the electrical grid to power the trailers air conditioners. When transit trailers hookup the seasonal campers lose their air conditioning. When more transits come in, transit start losing theirs. Generators are allowed even at night as the campground can NOT provide the power needed so it is extremely loud! No warning is provided

I only stayed at 1 other KOA in Florida before..never liked how many kids were there..tend to like rustic camping but I now have a lil Helio trailer and found the on -site sewer,water and electrical very handy! Loved the staff! Ed and Sonya were the best and very friendly fun and knowledgeable! Angela Burgess was a great owner! I told them I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Ottawa!

Were on lot 33 just in front of the Lake, great times we loved it! Very clean campground, good size lots, we loved it so much we put our names on the waiting list for a seasonal 2021!

We stayed in one of the Cabins. The Cabin and all the facilities were very clean. The weather was not ideal, but the location, friendly people and activities made all the difference. We have already recommended KOA Renfrew to friends.

It’s short but it’s an awesome stay for us. The most beautiful thing is that we rented a cabin which is so comfy and the fireplace was great. Love to visit again.

We were on lot 98 .That lot needs gravel or grass because it is very muddy under the trees. However it is a quiet park

Staff were wonderful. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Shop is well stocked and grounds are well kept. I was a bit surprised that the beach wasn’t tended to at all over the our 3 day stay. There was debris, a bit of garbage and broken kids toys laying around for days. The mini putt could use a face lift as many of the greens are ripped. Covid protocols were exceptional. It was a pleasant stay.

Another great 4 days at KOA Renfrew. What makes this KOA is special is that you're actually in a forest. Old, huge trees everywhere. We love taking all the nature in.... The staff is laid back, and they give you ample firewood. I've been to other KOAs where you are nickle and dimed for every activity, and that is not the case here. Nearly everything is free. This is our favourite KOA!

Always a great weekend. The lake was warm and not busy, the driving range is always fun to get the kids some practice. The entire place was very clean and the sites weren't over crowded. Will certainly spend another weekend there this summer.

We had a great time at the KOA Renfrew. Great beach, although a little crowded at times. Water was beautiful for swimming and kayaking. Thank you for a great weekend!

Very nice campground. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only negative was the power levels dropped down very low when everyone was using their air conditioner. Was told this was an issue with the hydro supply into the campground.

This was our first time staying there it was better than we expected.The staff was awesome and the park was clean and lots to do. Even slept in which was nice.Would most definitely would stay there again.

I was in lot 90 while the drunk man in lot 87 threatened me and my friends all night, playing music full volume at 3 in the morning. He yelled im not affraid to go to jail tonight and wanted to stab us. Of course, this was not the fault of the campground but the fact that no one was patrolling or even a number to call when this was a problem. I was going to bring my family next weekend.

Very kind staff, excellent and clean facilities. However, quiet hours were not enforced and music was blaring from the tent area until about 2am.....We will not be returning to this location for this reason alone. Everything else about this location and our stay was fantastic.

First time KOA campers....location was unbelievably clean. Staff go out of their way to help you out. Grounds are maintained with pride. Highly recommend this location.
