Very nice campground, staff was vey friendly and helpful. Park was very clean. Plan to stay there longer some time in the future.

This KOA is a stopover not a destination unless you plan on visiting casinos. Showers are in only one location and close at 7pm. Very inconvenient. The sites were level and all hookups available. It was quiet. We would come back again . Close to Cabela's and good dining.

Great stay for an overnighter! Staff was friendly and on point! Park clean! Suggestion……Some lighting needed on walk path between RV park and Casino. We’ll be back!

Picked a spot online and was given a totally different spot in the dirt, no grass like picture shown, sights were not all filled, my question is how do you get the spot you picked? And closing showers early at 7:30 after you have traveled a long day isn't cool ..just things for you to think about..

Staff was rude and disrespectful, sort of deal with it attitude. Arrived at 7:10 pool gate was locked though it was stated open until 8. When politely question thestaff said "Yeah but no one was in it so I closed it." When asked for verification about the opening at 9, I was told "That depends, with no explanation. Dog Area was tiny dirty rocky with an open trash can filled 1/3 with feces

The Boomtown KOA locks its bathrooms from 8pm to 8am, unlike any other KOA that I've visited. The campground requirement that all children be kept indoors after 8pm is also unreasonable. Come for the Casino, don't come here for the camping!

It was good very friendly staff. Short walk to the hotel. Only negative is due to COVID and staffing bathrooms are not open 24 hours.

They lost our reservation. Forced us to park in a spot not meant for our trailer, could only connect to part of the services we were paying for, never talked with us, charged us full price for their mistake, never provided the access codes to fully access the grounds. We are very disappointed in this KOA, this is the kind of service we expect from fast food restaurants not from a KOA.

The spot that we were at was to small it just fit our camper no room for the vehicle. The site was to close. Couldn't get into the bathrooms at night to shower. The dog park was all dirt. The people was great. The laundry was ok

The bathrooms closed at 7pm. Pet area was awful. We had fun at the arcade in the casino and the view of the river was nice.

Our site was mud with tire tracks in it, unlevel. We came in late, i requested easy in and out, they put us wY back in the park. Neighbors parked their trucks so ball hitches intruded on our ability to park our rv. There must be a better place near reno somewhere

We arrived after 8 pm, so the office was closed, but we found our name and site # listed. After setting up, we looked for the restroom for a much-needed shower, but only found the sign on the door that there are no public restrooms available, despite their confirmation email stating "We have two 24 hour bathroom/shower combos and an additional 7 bathroom/shower combos located inside office area"

Lady in office was very nice and informative. Campground was quiet and clean. Campground was was very full I was lucky to have gotten a space for the night. Spaces are small. Appears to be a lot of long term people there. But full hook up's worked well.

We are Reno locals and took the RV to the kOA for the pool and for the kids to have fun at the fun center and feel like we were camping, got there at 6pm and the lady who checked us in told me she “kicks everyone out of the pool” at 7:45 pm. The website and all the paperwork she gave me said pool closes at 9. My kids swam for 20 min after we ate dinner. Waste of my money

Other than the site we stayed in which had no trees, and was very unlevel the stay was nice. Liked the proximity to Boomtown and Cabelas. Pool was nice and the staff was very cordial.

The KOA was okay. Not enough shade at the campsite or at the pool. The pool is also pretty small, and not enough seating or covered areas. The campsite’s only amenities were picnic benches. Overall I felt we overpaid for what we got.

Though it doesn’t have all of the traditional amenities that you normally find at other KOA’s, this is a clean KOA and was perfect for our needs. The location is convenient and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again when traveling through the area.

It was a hot day when I stay there, over 102 degree F, the swimming pool on site is really helpful! The site is clean and well managed. Would like to stay again next time.

We enjoyed the view and the site. The hosts were friendly and it was a good start to our summer trip. However, there were tiny black flying bugs that got into our van and we could not get rid of them for days. I might return if the bugs are only there at a certain time of year.

Most spaces are very small and little to no grass at the campsites. Dog run is small and consist of sand and dirt.

Very helpful and polite staff. Great place to stop and rest for a few days. Clean sites. I saw one camper having issues when they got to their site and the staff was "Johnny on the spot" to help them. Great to see the staff so helpful these days.

Our stay was for 2 nights, having 3 small children it was very concerning that once we got there we were informed that the bathrooms were not available 24 hours a day like stated on the website. They were only open 8am to 8pm. Although the restrooms/showers were immaculately cleaned, there was almost no pressure in the showers (I had to use the sink to get soap off because it had more pressure).

Friendly staff, sites are well maintained, for the most part, although very close together. Recommend that the sprinkler system comes on earlier in the morning. Our campsite flooded as we were trying to get our rig secured and ready to leave.

Very convenient location and friendly staff. Most of the campground has pull-through sites across a modified parking lot. We stayed in one of the back-in sites around the edge of the park. Our site had threadbare grass and litter collected up against the chain link fence so campground maintenance isn’t great. Avoid spaces K32 - K38 along the south side. They’re the worst.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
