The bathrooms and showers were over-policed and controlled. I was essentially berated for not understanding the bathroom use rules, then the bullying older male staffer started questioning me if I was a guest there. I informed him I was, and so he got more defensive as I caught him. No doubt he would probably be likely to not help or be friendly to me anymore, if I stayed. So I wont return.

The campground was nice. No escort to our site. Restrooms only open 8am to 8 pm. Laundry 8 to 5. Most negative is NO water pressure in shower. Plenty of pressure at RV.

I only needed an overnight stay. This KOA is clean with very friendly staff. I loved the private showers! The only issue was the security lights at my parking spot. Very bright. I had to cover it with a blanket.

This is the only place we stay when we go to Reno. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful campground near the Truckee River.

We have been staying at KOAs on our RV road trip. This KOA was Excellent! Staff was friendly, checkin fast & easy. Sites have easy hookup, good water pressure and wifi was good. What was especially nice was the entire place (including site pads) was asphalt, which makes it so clean. One of the best KOAs!

We were to stay at Boomtown for 2 nights but had to leave after 1 night. Unfortunately, there was no shuttle up to the casino/restaurants due to staffing issues just like every business is going through. A few improvements are needed like another dog run, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

The restrooms were not available from 7pm to 8am. This is an inconvenience. There are codes one can enter but that was disabled for customers. Most people had to go to Boom Town to use facilities.

The showers can barely even be called a sprinkle and it will not get the soap or cream rinse out of your hair. Bring a cup, I had to get out of the shower and try to rinse hair out at the sink but could not get top of head, it was horrifying. The camp sites have this tiny peace of grass, you can't secure an awning for shade and the peeling paint on the old picnic tables was awful to sit!

This KOA was not as good as those we've stayed at in the past. Signage to get into the campground was horrible, after we got checked in, there was no help to find the site--even though there were three staff hanging out on the porch of the office. Cigarette butts littered the ground behind our campsite, and trash was blowing through.

Nice place with all the extras. Somewhat crowded with spaces fairly cramped together. Easy to get in and out of and near Casino, Cabelas, and a beautiful river.

Very difficult to find the route. GPS misguides! However, a very nice KOA Employee came up to the Chevron Station and led us back to the campsite. We were very disappointed with the bathroom/shower situation. In Jerome/Twin Falls we had access 24/7 and in Boomtown we had to wait for a Key and access was limited to 8:00 am -10:00pm.

People were friendly and very helpful. Site was paved and easily accessible. All amenities were working and in good order. Bathrooms and showers were in pristine condition. There were grassy areas available to walk our dogs. Very nice stay!

Very nice koa the only thing we didn’t like was no mail drop off we travel a lot and mostly stay in koa’s and we never had one that never took care of our mail.

Site was not cleaned before our arrival. Full of cigarette butts and generally un kept. A individual from the maintenance department was rude and had no people skills Threatened my daughter and I had to ask the office to keep him away from us during our stay.

The spaces are way to close to each other. If you use the picnic table it’s right next to the sewer hookups. The office staff was great

We paid for 3 nights, came back after the first night around 9:30pm to someone squatting in our designated spot. We did file a report and got a free night . They treated us well.

I reserved 2 sites in March and when we arrived they were the wrong ones. There needs to provide a porta potty for the evening hours when the offic is closed. And the site that you gave our friends the sprinkling system went on and flooded under their trailer getting some of their things wet.

The only redeeming quality of this KOA is the cleanliness of the bathroom, staff were very patient. We were referred "to go up to the casino to use the restroom after 8pm". PROVIDE A PORTA- POTTY for those trailers w/o a toilet or customers having difficulty walking uphill like me. I should report this KOA for ADA violations!

Friendly staff, clean grounds. Nice grass and shade trees. Easy walk to Boomtown Steakhouse and Mel’s diner. Easy on/off I-80.

Plus: Friendly Staff, Hookups and site were highly functional, Very pet friendly, clean restrooms when open... Minus: please have a trash pickup day on the east side of the property, Longterm renter sites were disgusting- broke down campers, trash, and just not "family" friendly, Casino coupons were difficult to use, casino employees were less than helpful, the stale stench of cigarette smoke .

This park needs to separate out permanent residents from those folks just staying a day or two. We were parked next to a permanent resident that had 4-5 cars and 20 visitors for a bbq and party. And they had dogs just wandering free. They weren't that noisy, but we felt like we were the ones violating their space. We won't be back, unless we can get a spot on the back edge where you can back in.

The security guy woke me up in the middle of the night to ask if I had called security . Turned out they got the site numbers mixed up. No apologies for the inconvenience, they just left. the next morning I reported the incident, and they also didn’t apologize. The lady said: “They were trying to do their job” really?? Bathroom, permanent residents, wifi are the least of their problems.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
