The boomtown facility was nice. Bathrooms well done and clean. We were lucky to get a spot as we thought we had booked a spot but must not have completed the forms. The front desk personnel was helpful but not overly friendly. I’ve noticed this a lot in rv parks that we’ve stayed at.

Amanda, in the office, was amazing! We had some difficulties on the road which delayed us. She was so kind and efficient. We would definitely come back if we were ever in the area.

I love the park , unfortunately we paid for the deluxe with the bbq/ fire pit and the BBQ had no propane, and was broken � if we had known we would have brought our own . Also didn’t like being on shower times only open 8-6 And outside bathrooms/showers were closed/hot tub was closed.

This is a basic KOA, not one of the better ones. It's dog "run" is a dust bowl and few other places to walk dogs. Several grassy areas cordoned off from dogs. Very minimal playground for kids. Far from downtown. Would not probably stay here if I come through Reno again.

The check in process was very pleasant and your office personnel were very professional and friendly. I was disappointed in the Wi-Fi, it was essentially unusable for even simple email needs. I ended up using my phone for all internet related activities. I had a decent Wi-Fi signal, but I believe your system needs to be upgraded to support greater bandwidth.

Sites were too small and way out of level had to block up one side of motorhome just to get close. No grass around sites sprinklers just make mud holes office closes at 8 pm so don’t think about using showers after that.

I’ve never stayed at any campground in my life that the sewer dump is sitting up on a concrete slab. Very difficult to dump black and gray tanks especially with a down hill pull through site.

We arrived second in line to get our reservation. I went in the office and stood in line behind the person ahead of me. The desk person ignored me. She didn’t say “I will be with you as soon as I complete this persons reservation.” Another employee came inside and ignored me. The first person said she was sorry for the wait once she completed the reservation of the person in front of me.

Park was quiet only thing was the rest rooms closed at 6pm. Which was fine cause it was only me and my husband and we have a shower in our trailer.

Super clean with large paved sites all in a relatively newer area just west of Reno. People were terrific and I would recommend this KOA to anyone looking for a one or two night stop before or after traversing Hwy 80 through Truckee down to Sacramento.

We stayed overnight in a patio site. A very nice end site with pine trees. Our stay was quiet at night and I don't recall hearing freeway noise. Park water pressure was at 40 psi, nice not needing a regulator. Some roads have been repaved. Many sites are in need of slurry sealing the crumbling asphalt. Of the three end patio sites where we stayed, none had propane for the grills.

We checked into a site B79 that was next to a site that had dog poop all over the grass by our sewer connection. In order to hook up we had to smell that. There were at least ten piles very old and dried.

This is a trailer park not RV campground. 90% of people were permanent residents. Glad we were only there for one night. Site full of holes and not level. Unable to fill propane tanks and showers closed.

Really tight spot, very close to neighbor. It was a clean park and the check in staff very efficient. I was disappointed that there wasn't a shuttle to the Casino.

The site was almost impossible to level our R V. They had no propane. The WiFi was terrible.

We were only there overnight but everything was clean and quiet. The people were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed there many times over the years and will stay there again.

Sadly, cannot recommend this KOA. Our back-in site K54, and from what I could see, the neighboring back-in sites, did not meet the basic requirements of paved, level, clean sites. Unlevel paved parking. Broken down picnic table on dirt ground. Zero shade. Reservation process and office staff were good. Pretty quiet, although there is background highway noise.

It was a great visit. We were in Reno to visit family and looking for a safe, clean, convenient place that allowed pets. Our site was a pull through -- that always makes getting setup easier/faster so that was a bonus (as opposed to a back in site) Boomtown met all of our needs. Our only issue was that the staff could be more friendly/helpful on check-in & with questions. Not a huge deal.

I want to thank Charlene and Jenna for all their help and assistance during our 2 month stay. They both are incredibly kind and professional ladies. If we ever get back to Nevada I will be sure to stay there again.

Staff was nice, but failed in all other areas. Over priced, dirty (cigarette butts, bottle caps, dog poop and other debris), cramped with broken and bent equipment, barking dogs, and freeway noise. One bathroom (closed 7a to 9p), no night staff so loud parties after 10p. NOT a campground - an asphalt tail gating parking lot. Try the parking lot at Walmart.

We have stayed there many times before. This is the first time I have seen it in the shape it is. There is absoutely No up keep. Trees are not trimmed we hit Our awning and asked to be moved. The man in the office did not care at all. Had to pay another 22.00 Dollars. It appears most people live there year around and the park has no pride.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
