The appearance of this campground has declined in the last 5 years. We notice the change as we walk around the perimeter. This campground used to be gorgeous. Now lots of weeds and some dead trees and shrubs. The wooden enclosures around the dumpsters are rotting and falling apart. The lawn areas are looking ratty or downright dead. The staff we interacted with was courteous and friendly.

The staff was friendly and helpful with my questions I had. However the sites are tight with little room for our slide outs on both sides of our 5th wheel. The wifi was useless. The answer was that Spectrum has not been very helpfull with upgrading so slow internet shared with 200 other people made for non-functional wifi and internet. I fell the park is over priced for what you get.

Very nice koa, only two complaints #1 bathrooms need to be available 24/7 #2 long term tenets should have a place to put their things in to keep the park looking tidy.

We arrived with our 5th wheel trailer and plugged in to power. Fortunately the trailer is equipped with a EMS controller. The pedestal we plugged into was bad . The EMS did as it was supposed to do and shut down the coach. Unfortunately the shut down occurred at night and we had electric heaters on. Both my 400 AH AGM batteries drained during the night. Ruined the trip.

This could be a very nice park, except that it is cluttered with excess vehicles and is littler with pet feces throughout the park. Very narrow spots that limit access to the power outlets. Great location, just needs to be cleaned up for a KOA.

Beautiful and clean. I was trying to work part of the trip and the WiFi was not strong enough so I had to use my hotspot. Other than that it was great.

Spots are very close together, and not level at all. Ours also had a huge hole where the door was which made it difficult getting in and out.

Verry dirty! Bottle caps,sewer hookup I had to get chanel lock pliers in order to hook up my drain hose, chunks of asphalt laying around to stumble over! Very disappointed !

The place is clean and the staff is nice. The bathrooms are super clean and have showers in each individual room. Only drawback is if you need a restroom between 6pm and 8am you are out of luck. The bathrroms are only open during buisness hours. We were recomended to use the casino 1/4 mile away. Clean place but a port a potty would go a long way here.

Too many old trailers that people are living in! Our spot was great with a view of the Truckee River. The pool needs to get opened up. The grass needs to be watered as lots of it is dead. The wifi was horrible

We've enjoyed staying with you a number of times and look forward to many times in the future. However, you should NOT put short-term guests in with your permanent residents.as they obviously don't like it. We were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by the person across from us as well as by the person next to us ~ not how we want to spend our leisure time.

WiFi is horrible. Multiple Signs at one site about keeping dogs off the grass made me feel like dogs weren’t very welcome. Fenced in dog area was on the opposite side of the grounds, was smelly and unappealing. Fine for an overnight stay.

Very clean! Accommodating staff; nice camp sites; easy on/off access; laundry facilities always a plus! Campers were very nice, also! We’ll be back soon! Thank you for everything!

The campground is large and crowded. It was dirty and an adbundance of trash around. The playground is tiny. The pool and spa was not open. The check in staff was great though and very friendly. We would not choose to stay here again, just because the park itself is just too crowded.

Restroom/showers are located inside the office/store open only 8am-6pm. Rooms were clean, no shelving or hooks at all in shower for products. Shower pressure was very minimal.

Bathrooms were closed due to COVID - this should have been made plenty clear on your website prior to booking. There was no mention of it until we arrived for check-in.

We had just picked up our first travel trailer and were taking it home to CA so stopped here for the night. Upon arrival at Boomtown, we found out we had booked the wrong type of site online for our needs. I advised the staff of our rookie status and they were great. They educated us on the different types of sites and we ended up with the correct one. Thanks for a great experience.

Just stayed overnight but it’s a great place for the dogs. We’re heading back for a longer stay in about a week.

Stay was fine. Place is pretty, clean and folks are friendly. I would have liked a spot with river view, but seemed like long term folks were there. Dog run could use some grass, maybe a bench or shade tree. It’s very sparse.

Unlevel sites (to the point that our right side tires were 5” off the ground in order to be level) and narrow sites with close trees make for a challenging parking experience for larger rigs. Every time we stay there we are reminded of the downsides.

Park could use upgrading. Asphalt site pads vary from almost new condition to completely worn out. Cable TV on KOA brochure lists 60+ channels. Lady in the office said sometimes cable TV works as advertised but mosts 10-12 channels available. WiFi for the most part unusable. If parks advertise wifi it should work properly. i am disappointed that the park is not in better condition.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
