Great park with good access to Reno and environs.

The people working were professional and friendly. However, the bathrooms/showers were only open from 8 am until 7 pm. Very inconvenient if you don't use your on-board toilet, like me. No reason not to have the bathrooms open longer using a keyboard entry. Also, there was no shuttle bus to the casino "due to Covid." I can handle casino, slots, doors, counters, pens. but no bus??? Come on man.

My husband and I are KOA WorkKampers, On our way to our next job in SD we arrive here at Boomtown the gal at the counter wasn’t sure how to enter our Travel Certificates so the 2nd gal came and help with the check-in and was kind enough to have me come around the counter to also show me how to enter the Travel Certificates (new to K2 I wasn’t sure either).Thank you. Both girls were very friend

We stayed long term over winter. The team was friendly and helpful. The office and laundry room were kept sparkling clean (we didn't use the bathrooms or showers but I bet they were just as clean). The campsites were always kept neat and any trash that blew about (Reno/Verdi is windy) was picked up immediately. The price had gone up since the year before but is still reasonable. We'll return.

We had a beautiful view of the Trucker River and the campground was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place needs some serious clean up! Dog poop EVERYWHERE, more long term campers than camping families. Does not appear to be strict on keeping sites tidy, place is really run down. Not what we would expect from a KOA, you can do better than this.

We had truck problems and couldn’t drive it any longer. We were only planning to stay here 1 night. Staff member, Charlene was very caring and helpful. She went out of her way to accommodate us for an additional 4 nights in the same spot while we figured things out. Thank you

The people that work in the office are very good at what they do. Helpful, friendly and accommodating. That is something I appreciate because its few and far between nowadays. My complaint is there was a lot of dog poop on the grassy part of my site and I saw some in the middle of the driveway. I know it’s not the fault of the people that work there. Hopefully something can be done about that

We've stayed here many times and enjoy it. It's close to Tahoe, Reno, and shopping. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

We checked in late at night so we just picked a site to stay in. The site was very uneven so it took us a long time to get that worked out and then when we went to connect the cable TV and relax, the cable was broken so we couldn't watch TV. When we brought it to the hosts attention the next morning they couldn't care less.

The staff is fantastic and this camp is well-run, clean, and well-kept. I don’t know if we’ll stay here again because the bathrooms close at 7 p.m. right now and it’s at least 1/2-2/3 mile to casino bathrooms. A few temporary facilities placed around the campground would have been better. We were given a beautiful overlooking the river, and that was very nice!

This was not a KOA I know. It looked more like an RV park than KOA.

Clean, clean, clean!! The office staff is helpful and the park is well maintained! Best shower system ever, and insured that the showers were clean and tidy.

We stay here all the time. Pros: Clean, friendly people, easy access from highway, close to Boomtown. Cons: Propane has not been available for a very long time. They should get it fixed. Showers are only available during office hours due to Covid. They say its because they don't have people to clean after hours. They should open the showers and let adults decide for themselves.

Overpriced. We paid 50$ for a parking space. Bathroom and shower closed from 7pm until 8am. We have a solar powered camper van with no need of power hook up and we didn’t use the waste or water connections. Had a beautiful spot the next night at an Oregon state park with privacy and a hot shower at our time preference for 19$

I have been here a handful of times, but this time was disappointed as the propane source had to be removed due to a leak and the Chevron advised their tank was down. Also no access to the restrooms/showers, which the shower was needed as unfortunately my trailer water heater would not operate and it would have been nice to know during check- that facilities were closed.

Did not meet my KOA expectations. The website advertises internet, 24 hour bathrooms and showers; however, the bathrooms and showers were closed “due to Covid-19” ( not the case at other KOA campgrounds we have stayed over the last three months) and we could not connect to the internet. Emailed the campground host and received a weak response about the wind impacting internet connectivity.

First let me say I travel full-time in my rv. Staff was very friendly. Their bathrooms are still closed?? Only campground I have come across that this is still the case. Also there is only one and its a quite a walk from the far end of the site. There was trash against the fence line by the river. Office and laundry room were very clean. It was quite.

Other campers (with and without dogs) were inconsiderate. They would walk between our truck and trailer and behind our trailer between our table and decorative flags. You'd have to watch where you stepped as there was a lot of dog poop everywhere. On a positive note, the boomtown security would drive through campground on a regular basis.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
