We had a wonderful stay weather was great. Wi-Fi was sketchy and cable TV wasn’t good. But that’s not why we came ,we came for the rest ,peace and quiet and we got that ,thank you so very much for everything. I would recommend your campground to anyone. Very well-kept I’m very nice people.

Always pleasant...very nice staff. I wish you could add an outside deep sink for washing cooking gear.

We checked in late and left fairly early. We only stayed one night but the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. We like the RV sight and set up. It was hard to leave.

We had reservations for the next day and called multiple times to add a night but our calls were never returned. When we arrived the woman seemed put out to find us another site. The site had no grass and appeared that the dirt had been dug up with multiple rocks around and had scattered campfire ashes there. The table had broken seat and table boards with a bolt sticking out. Very disappointed.

Staff was great, campground not so much. Basically a parking lot, lots of unsavory folk walking around, lots of residents living full time.

Did not like the posted areas as no pee and poop zones . If you don't want dogs state it in your add.

Thank you for your feedback. We do allow dogs in the park. When a guest rents a site it's their site until they leave. Requesting that no dogs poo/pee on the grass is just a courtesy. Thank you again and take care.

Too many permanent residents who dictate the rules of the park (like what grass you’re allowed to walk on, etc.). Lots of concrete, very little comfort appeal, lots of rundown, broken trailers that never move. Staff is courteous, but rates are equivalent in nicer parks closer to other amenities/local attractions. Won’t be back.

Friendly staff, lots of pull thru’s. My first choice to stay when passing through Reno. I am never there more than one night but have always had great service.

We didn’t end up staying as our rig would not fit in the spot assigned and the clerk basically didn’t care. This park is very outdated and needs some serious upkeep.

Tracie at the front desk was wonderful. She noticed we had just booked on line and gave us a nice site over looking the Truckee River. The KOA is in a good area and easy access to Highway, gas, and Cabelas. It is a little worn and needs a little TLC.

Arrived at campground at 10:30pm, and the process was not clear, and the email did not include a space number. We parked in an open spot and stayed the night.

Everyone was very professional, courteous and helpful. The showers were always very clean. You had one employee his name is Carson and he stood out and shined As an outstanding employee for KOA Boomtown. My stay was very pleasant and I will return in the spring.

Why do you put everyone together? Lots of empty sites. Could do every other site until full then start filling in. Just a suggestion.

After staying at KOA's for nearly 3 decade's this KOA by far is the least maintained campground I've ever stayed visited. The restrooms were filthy, grass areas dead, cigarette butts littered camp site, trash all around perimeter fencing and harassed by permanent camping guest to keep our dogs off/away from KOA grass area.

They have easy access off the freeway and only minutes from Reno. The staff are all very nice and very helpful. We would definitely recommend this place

Clean, wide roads, quiet, easy in and out. Helpful staff. We stayed in a 42 ft fifth wheel. Would return in a heartbeat

Miss the shuttle to casino security did pick us up but they were not happy doing it. He wasn’t friendly at all. We walked back in the dark good thing we didn’t fall

All the spots were gravel with nicely positioned fu;; hook ups. Spots are fairly close together but a nice place to stay.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation 6 weeks prior to our arrival. Was confirmed with our space. We arrived to find out rates have increased and they moved us to a different space... Crappy space...dirty and cramped. Also we were not told that we had to remove our ATV from the trailer and leave it behind the office during our stay... Out of our site. But motorcycles are ok. Never going back.

Campground has been really let go. Most sites are just dirt and rocks. Very few of the trees are trimmed. Picnic table was one giant splinter. Long term guest are allowed to park anywhere. I had to back out of my site. Did not see a single grounds keeper the entire 3 days I was there. The 5 ladies in the office were very nice.

Water connection was corroded, and thus leaked. Seems like there were a lot of long term tenants. That had lots of junk outside their campers.

We love to stay at the KOA campground except the spot are so unlevel. The grass areas are not being kept up in certain spots. Somehow or another we never get a spot that has a tree. But we still love going there.

The campground is very rundown. The hookups worked, but the WiFi was very weak. Many long-term residents, some sites not kept nice. The train goes by often, incl at night & is very loud. No hwy noise, tho. It’s fine as a stop on your journey, at least it felt somewhat safe.

The staff were all very friendly, and I can see how convenient staying here is if you are headed to the casino. Due to Covid, we weren’t able to go to the casino, so I can’t include that in my review. The spots are a little narrow, and some looked like they’d be hard to level. I don’t know if it was Covid related, but the pool closed really early, which was a bummer for my daughter.

Nice, quiet. Got laundry done great steak dinner at casino within walking distance. Nice view of the Truckie River & plenty of space to walk our dogs!!

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
