Nice place, quiet place, friendly staff. But, the RV spaces are a littlr tight.

Too many people living there as permanent residents and putting their own signs up to stay of the grass by their RV. Dog park was dirty and bathrooms unavailable until 8:00. Strange people wandering around the park apparently on drugs.

Well it's beautiful up here at KOA boom town I absolutely love the Truckee River it's. Very peaceful Next time I'm there I will be have to request A 58 I love it that I'm putting the money towards cancer patients and help for them out tremendously helps me.

Great location. Unfortunately, at this time of year, water and dump were shut down, and no transport to the casino; I would have expected a lower charge.

Our stay at Boomtown KOA was great. The staff was outstanding the campground was very clean. The wife and I stayed 5 days.

The 24h bathroom was arbitrarily closed. This wasn't on the website when I booked my stay nor did the person checking me in say it. This poses as significant problem when you use a teardrop camper and you're in a populated campground. Fortunately Cabela's provided a much needed restroom before they closed but suffice it to say, I'll not be coming back to this KOA. Paid quite a lot for not a lot.

We have stayed at Boomtown several times and will probably do so again. The KOA is clean and a dog park Is well kept.

Staff very professional. Camp very clean. KOA did have a plumbing issue so there was limited bathroom and shower access but we were told that when we booked. Nice place!!!!

The stay was fine. The only thing concerning was seeing a man who was not a police officer wearing a side arm in plain sight in the casino near the children’s arcade area. I realize this is a state policy but it was unsettling in this setting.

Couldn't use shower or bathroom because it was only open 9-5. No code was offered. Probably won't stay again because no access to facilities. No shuttle bus to casino due to being short handed. Not a good way to start a vacation.

We’ll kept and all accommodations needed met. Nice staff and friendly people who have been living there for a few months. Everyone respectful.

Thought the park was really nice, very easy to get into with our larger 5th wheel. Liked how close the casino was along with gas station and places to eat. Will definitely be back for another stay. Hopefully we will get to stay longer next time.

Not really a place for big rigs; ours is a 41’ DP. Even their premium sites are not level and very, very close-in, narrow sites. Too many full-timers makes it look junky. Staff was mostly friendly. Other than that, it is a good location along I-80, with nice views along the river.

Close in sites and sites are graded away from sewer connections requiring jacking up or raising up opposite side of trailer.

Nice clean place. Conveniently just off I-80 west of Reno itself. Yes you can hear some traffic but that goes with the convenience of just off the freeway. Yes appears there are quite a few full timers but none were trashy looking. Easy walk to Boomtown for food, gambling etc.

Tight space. Tree in site forced us to park at angle. Staff was not knowledgeable, unhelpful. We left 1 week early & have received a refund. I have called several times

Clean with ease of setting up with our 5th wheel. Check in was quick, with helpful polite staff. One issue though / we were charged twice ( double billed) on our credit card! Office assured me charge will be reversed / still waiting for a contact from the manager......

No bathroom or shower access after hours, even though they advertise tent camping. After hours team was very polite, but the morning crew was rude. Will NEVER return and put a sour taste in my mouth for other KOAs even though I’ve stayed at others.

Very good management and employees. My wife and I both enjoyed our stay here. Clean bathrooms (don't like asking for key could possibly use code entry), clean laundry and well supplied store.

RV barley fit in the space we were given. Dog park was at the very back of park terrible location. Front desk rude when checked in and bathrooms were locked up at 5 pm terrible stay

Nice park, a bit tight parking. The host staff was not very friendly. We had two interactions with them and both times they were not pleasant. If we ever return, we will check in and not use the other facilities. The less time spent with negative people the better.

We always enjoy staying @ Boomtown KOA! The park is in a great location. Our only complaints are the reduced bathroom hours, ( I'm sure due to covid and staffing so we understand that) and we really dislike the strong bathroom freshener smell. Maybe they could use something less perfumey and more of a natural scent. It was quite overwhelming, but won't stop us from returning!

Very nice park, casino and restaurants. Fuel and shopping close. Easy access to local attractions, a fun place to visit.

Called to say we’d be checking in late. Read the spot we were designated to park in and someone was in our spot. We found an empty spot to park in which was very slanted and extremely small. Left voicemail and no one ever called back or apologized. Very inconvenient to have to go back and forth to board to double check our spot then back and forth finding an open spot. Very LOUD train.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
