Compared to others we have stayed, this one is pretty sparse. Open hours close way too early...the pool for example closed at 6:30.

Very high priced for only 30 amp service Campground is old and in need of major upgrades. Driveway to register is very narrow and hard to make turn with big rig. Will not stay there again Electrical pedestal was loose in ground Not happy at all with the campground

We always have a great time. Unfortunately this trip was scheduled 6 months in advance with my Aunt/Uncle and my Mom/Dad. We all asked to be put next to each other in our reservations, we were spread out across 4 rows with empty spots next to us most of the 8 days we were there. Pretty disappointing.

Do not stay here. Staff claimed facilities are open during the day (not even 24/7), though they closed restrooms completely. You have to walk a half mile up a hill to the casino. Many full-timers, some broken down. Staff is gruff and dishonest. From afar, you would be forgiven for thinking it was a junkyard. If this was my first impression of KOAs, I would never book at a KOA again.

Convenient location, easy access. Some of the amenities not available due to COVID-19 and lack of staff but the staff was friendly and courteous. Location needs a little attention but overall a nice campground.

Everything was pretty nice the grass could been a little greener some people looks like they live there a little too long and don't pick up their dog poop one lady has her lawn nice she live there did not know you can live there permanently

Host’s we’re friendly but, our gas bbq was a wreck. Broken leg etc. and a large sign on front window saying Propane sold here and when asked they didn’t have any.

Nice campground, friendly staff. The only bad thing is they close the restrooms, showers, laundry at 7pm which I have not seen before.

Great place to stay the night. We go to Idaho from Cali twice a year and its a great place to finish up the vacation before heading to the bay area. Casino's and great food in a walking distance. People here are real nice and willing to help you in any way they can to make your stay more comfortable. Oh and a gas station right there to fuel up. Its Awesome!

We’ve been at the Boomtown KOA several times and we’ve always enjoyed our stay. This time we had a great spot close to the river and had a very relaxing stay there.

this is the worst koa i have ever seen your row k which i was assigned to shoulb be torn down it looked like a homeless camp your advertisment said 2 24hr bathroom combos and 7 more bathroom showers there was 1 bathroom open only from 8 am till 6 pm what a joke we packed up and left after 1 hour i will write and call the koa headquarters and tell them of our experience

The people were nice and friendly. The store was clean. The back in spots were tiny and basically a paved parking lot. Had to ask for a picnic table. Other than hook ups. It would have been the same to camp in a Walmart parking lot..

Was very happy with the camping facilities, but very disappointed with the bathroom situation. I have never been to any KOA, in my 25 years of camping at KOA's, were there were no bathroom facilities available after 7pm. The employees running the office were excellent. The Boomtown security were rude and always late to open at 8am for the employees and the people waiting to use the facilities.

Space was adaquate. Safety issue walking around power tower, due to sizeable area 5 to 6 inches deep that is definitely a falling hazard. (Space B80) Also, the Power Tower is very loosely attached. The hot tub was great after a long days drive. The registrar was very pleasant and welcoming. I think $70 is a bit high for this "old" park, but the market is what it is.

I've been camping at KOA's from Maine to So. CA since 1971. The people are great. However, this is the only KOA facility I know that locks the toilets and showers at 6:00 p.m.! No other facilities are available on-site, the only option is to leave the camp and go to the casino or gas station. Be sure to have an on-board loo. I will plan future trips to avoid staying here.

I have stayed at many KOA and I think this is my worst experience with any KOA. Office staff was not friendly. RV sites throughout have a general unkept look. There are so many long-term residence it’s beginning to look like a semi glorified mobile home park. Not A good atmosphere for a KOA. The stench from the sewer pump or whatever it was across from my site was sickening! Never again!!!

They closed the pool when I was ready to take my child to swim on what we considered to be a nice sunny day out, with a slight breeze. I didn’t like the fact that only the end spots had fire pits, and not our spot. Playground area could use some updating. Other than that, it was a clean nice area !

If you're looking for a nice clean place to park your trailer and5 not hang out at the park this is the park to go to. Other than that there's a lot of asphalt. But I don't go to Reno to just hang out at the park.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our space E116 could use a little work. The grass was mostly dirt and uneven. Made for a very high first step.

I’m getting SICK and TIRED of “reduced services” at camps, hotels, etc - with “COVID” as an excuse. We have loved Reno KOA. Great location, facilities, etc. but we have a small RV Trailer with a tiny bathroom & shower. Coming home from a full day and finding the shower/pool closed around 6 was maddening. ENOUGH ALREADY!! If you’re charging us the same price, don’t give us HALF the

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
