Facility was clean and staff very friendly. Due to COVID-19 the showers were on a limited timeframe of being open for use. Also would have appreciated if the shower rooms were a slight bit warmer.

Easy in/out even with our late arrival. Would have liked to get to the casino but the park is a bit away, we're walking challenged, and only staying one night so didn't want to unhook the 5th wheel.....otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

The trees on the sites need to be trimmed, they were hard to avoid scrapping the top of our motorhome, and branches laid on the top of the motorhome. They use to provide a shuttle to the casino, but no long offer that and the casino is pretty far from the sites.

Park is clean. Staff very helpful. Sites very narrow but level. Good for overnight stay. Uninspiring.

The site that was supposed to be 53 ft was not big enough for our 43 ft fith wheel. Not long enough not wide enough. Tables are absolute junk. No way can you use them. There was junk stacked in several sites along side us. We couldn't make the corner from the office to the site. Our rig doesn't bend like that. Had to go down and cut through empty sites to get to the site. $61.00 was far too much

The stay was great except that I kept getting complaints about my dogs barking excessively due to other dogs that were around our camp site, The lady that lived next to my campsite was really upset because my dogs were barking after 8am when apparently she was still sleeping, she kept complaining until I was confronted by security and I was almost kicked off the camp site, I got moved to new spot.

Very clean and quiet. Easy to park but a little narrow. Overall it was a good stay.

Loved this KOA and stayed 3 nights! Good things- spaces with trees & some grass, friendly helpful employees, beautiful view of river. Only negative- people living/ staying there were not good about picking up after their dogs. As a person that travels with a dog I see this as the fault of the dog owners not the KOA. I would definitely stay here again!

Will wait to use this KOA again when you have pull throughs available as we have a 42 foot 5th wheel plus RAM duelly truck.

Wifi was basically non-functional and the public bathrooms/showers were by far the dirtiest, grossest bathrooms of any KOA we've stayed at. Not one we're likely to go back to unless necessary, but staff seemed friendly.

We just needed a stop for the night and it was exactly what we needed. The adjacent casino steak house was amazing ! We will use this stop again when passing through

My wife and I have stayed at many KOA’s throughout the Wester)MidWest states. BoomTown KOA has been our final RV Park on our way home to Northern Ca. Employees have always been kind and professional. Sites have always been clean. Many nice restaurants close by and my wife always enjoys throwing her money away at the (5) minutes away BOOMTOWN CASINO.

Our assigned site was small and not level. We could extend our slide out but not our awning. We tried to level with extra blocks but still couldn't make it right. There was no shade nor seating at the dog run.

We stay here for the summer to be near Family. It is close to get anywhere in Reno. The only drawback is the park appearance. the grass and common areas need attention. maybe fix the sprinklers. Bigger dog park would be nice.

We were very happy with our stay at Reno KOA at Boomtown. It’s clean and felt safe.

Out of all the KOAs we stayed at on our last trip this is the only one that would not honor a veteran's discount. I will not stay there again and I will be sure to let other vets know this KOA does not support veterans.

I just needed a safe place to spend the night in my van. The price wasn't cheap, but I normally would stay in a hotel. With Covid, I don't. I came in late and there was a notification at the closed office letting me know my site #. The area was clean and quiet. I had a pleasant nite. Goid spot.

Arrived at 6:50 pm and office, which is open until 7:00, was closed. Ok, no problem. Got to site. Went to use bathroom, sign says, “Sorry if you got here after 7:00 and didn’t get a code. You’ll have to wait until 8:00 am. We apologize for any inconvenience.” Inconvenience? What in god’s green earth are they thinking. I won’t curse here, but... Come on, get it together!

Only 2 showers for such a large place. Office hours not posted. Unclear signage from highway. Very dusty and cigarette butts on rv site. If you want to go to casino it’s convenient but for just an overnight nothing special to recommend

Front office staff were not the usual KOA level of helpful or friendly. Facility is badly in need of resurfacing, and replacement of power and cable TV boxes.

I have a big rig motorhome with 4 slides. Site was way too small. Pavement throughout park is in poor condition.

Nice RV park with nice paved sites. Right next to the Boomtown casino that has an arcade/fun center with a few small rides. Nice views of the hills and nice view of the Truckee river that runs next to the park.

Super cold, more snow than I've seen in a long time. Only issue, water kept freezing at the pipe.
