I called ahead from my home in Michigan and I was excited that cabins were a option. As the SFA University was having Homecoming Activities, I was surprised there were cabins available. The husband/wife mgmt. team made my stay very relaxing. Next year I’m sure that they will be full during homecoming as I gave them contact info. for the event coordinator with the SFA Alumni Assn.

We always love our time in Rusk. The campgrounds and facilities are exceptionally clean. The grandkids always find new friends there. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and reconnect.

From the height of the tall pine trees to the depth of the swimming pool, Rusk KOA has covered it all! We have never stayed in a better KOA ... and we've stayed in quite a few! Bill and Pam are the perfect hosts and were always eager and ready to make our stay one that we will never forget. I guarantee you, the next time we visit The Piney Woods, we WILL stay at Rusk KOA!

I had originally booked a tent site, but when we arrived the weather had turned and it was going to storm. So we upgraded to a Rustic Cabin, before I had even finish saying I'll take it, Bill was heading out the door to turn on the AC. Such Nice people! I'm looking forward to visiting Rusk again and will be stay at this KOA. Letting friends and Family know about it also. Great place so peaceful.

Did not bring our rig this stay. We stayed in cabin and brought our sleeping gear with us. Had a great stay and enjoyed our campfire and smores. The bathrooms were clean and showers were great!!

We had a great visit! My daughter and I rested well, comfortably and peacefully. Even our old grandma dog was calm and restful. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and helpful!

The Delux Cabin was amazing! We were very comfortable. As camping enthusiasts that have are now in our 40's and my dad in his 70's, we miss it so much but tents are tough on us. This was a perfect balance of the comfort we need and the outdoors we love!

I took my 11 year old nephew camping. It was Too hot during the day to get outside but the cabin was cool and perfect for games. We enjoyed the pool at night. Loved staff and management. Will go back.

An absolute dream! What a peaceful paradise! Clean, well stocked cabin and patio/fire pit area. Pool was crystal clear. We enjoyed the pedal cars and kids shot hoops. Lots of interesting tourist attractions within an hour surrounding the campground. Our hosts and hostesses were so friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing and clean! Stayed in a wilderness cabin and loved it! Accidentally left my necklace in the cabin and the management team called to let me know they found it and would mail it to me. Such a warm and friendly management team!

We stayed in a cabin while attending a small RV club rally. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. The management was extremely friendly and helpful. Our cabin was furnished really well and clean. Outside, the cabin grounds were fantastic with a concrete patio, table, umbrella, chairs, fire pit and bbq grill. We will be back.

We have stayed before. My husband enjoys the Golf Course (close by). He has even brought a group of men from our church to stay at the KOA and to play golf. Really enjoy the friendliness of everyone.

Check in was easy - cabin was ready for us - even had the heat on! Very nice facilities - especially for summer activities- appeared kid and dog friendly. Very quiet in the winter - just what we needed to decompress!

Easy to find. Amazing quality mattresses in cabins in full size and bunk beds. Cozy atmosphere in adorable cabins nestled in the forest. Complete with shelves, writing desk, heat, a/c, & coat hooks. Close to well maintained restroom and showers. The showers are all personally enclosed with locks to keep the warm air in the room. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Will return soon!

Cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the loft area. Kids had fun exploring and using the bikes that they had. Historical areas close. Will be back for sure.

Had a Christmas party at the KOA Clubhouse. Built a fire in a fire pit and spent the night in a cabin. Very nice ......Hope to do it again next year

We love the Rusk KOA and the friendly staff there. We stayed there on our recent trip to N.C. for Thanksgiving and made a special effort to stay there on our way back home. The campground is located in the countryside and it's quiet and serene. We highly recommend this place.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Rusk, TX KOA. The cabins were very cozy and situated perfectly at the edge of quiet woods. The temperature was in the 30's at night but the cabin heaters kept us toasty. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Hoping to stay there again soon.
