always great to stay at this KOA in SLC! Clean and perfectly located to the city.

Decent park. Paved sites. Close to town, good location. A lot of long term campers. When we got in there was a man working on his trailer. Welding, hammering and grinding. Very noisy and annoying. The KOA staff asked him to stop after another camper called the office. He did stop working or we were going to complain too. He appeared to be living at the KOA.

Very well-run operation. It is clean, roomy, easy to get to in spite being in major city area. I would stay there again.

They need to get better at which site fits the rig that is coming in. We said 65 feet and first site 10 feet in the road. Second site 2 feet in the road. Just saying. Other wise the dog park was nice and the gas stoves out on a patio a great plus .

Super friendly and very helpful at the check in. While the camp is very large it is well maintained with excellent facilities for everyone.

Our only complaint was being in an end spot - feeling like we were on display. Otherwise the campground was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful , especially in recommending a diesel mechanic ( bc our van broke down) and with guidance on taking the rail system into town with a stop across the street.

When we arrived at our site it was filthy. The parking pad was thick with tried mud. The grass was torn up by tire tracks and dog poop smashed into the grass. I called the office and asked for someone to come clean the site, with no response. My husband and I cleaned the site with our broom and a pooper scooper from the dog run. At $80 per site, I would expect a clean site.

We only stayed one night. Beautiful park and clean. We would like to come back and spend more time there. Large sites and friendly employees

Me and my family were traveling to Zion and we wanted to eat and rest in Salt Lake City. We drove our 40 coach. The campsite was ok but the office lady was very rude to my family when we ordered a Uber to take us to dinner. Also the camp was under construction in front of our camp,of course they blocked the road out of our pull threw spot and would not move to let us out

Place is well maintained and feels very safe even though it is right off a light rail line. Very easy highway on and off. Would stay again. Only fault is that the sites are a wee bit small.

Overall very clean and very organized! Friendly staff! A big downside was the wireless which never really worked due to connectivity issues and weak signal. Front desk insisted the internet was "fine." Instructions for logging on to the wireless were obsolete, too.

We were doing a big spring break road trip and wanted to stay in Salt Lake City, this was perfect. We reserved a spot with a campfire and it was great, we had our campfire while in the city. The people were very nice, it was pretty full even though it was March but it was very quiet. Our kids loved the video game room and the playground. Would definitely stay again.

The location and sites are terrific. The light rail is outside the park for 5 minute access to the Tabernacle and down town. The references to homeless people is a fact in all cities nowadays. Rule - no matter where you stay , including home , things must not be left outside . Previous posts had us concerned about going to this park . Glad we did. The train is minimal - a few times only. .

Nice enough KOA....but we are VIP members who have stayed at many....and this was the first time I felt that we didn't matter in the slightest. Store staff were extraordinarily indifferent and did not greet you merely waited for you to approach them. We needed just 30 minutes to an hour more for check out and were told it would be 15.00 plus tax....after spending close to 1k to stay.

I stayed one night and, asked, if they could extend it one night they told me no that everything was reserved which is funny cause when i called they told me first come first serve, sounds like discrimination to me, and there were three empty spots next to me

My husband & I stay every 28 days for his medical appts/treatments at the Huntsman. This location is very convenient & the staff is very helpful, as we need to make 2 -4 night reservations for 6 or more months out. We are very grateful.

Park is definitely not worth the price you pay. More dogs running around then people. Area is in need of upgrades. Parking sites in bad shape, nothing level and grounds nothing but dirt which then turns into mud when wet. KOA needs review and inspect the standards of this park.

We were only there one night. The after hours check-in was a breeze and the assigned spot we had was long enough we didn't need to unhook the trailer. The park was clean.

I didn't realize "pet fence" wasn't allowed. I have a portable run for my 2 dogs. I was very disappointed that I couldn't use it. Plus I didn't feel very safe there. It seem that anyone can just drive in and out as they please. I had a guy pull into an empty site to work on his truck then drive away and then came back again. I didn't care for that, seeing that I'm traveling alone.

This was our second stay and it was fantastic! The facilities were extremely clean, everyone around us was really nice, the office gals are always very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Definitely would recommend.

We got a deluxe patio end cap site. We enjoy spending a lot of time outside our trailer. The grass was covered in dog poop, some very old, and trash. It was clear no one had cleaned the site, maybe ever. The strip of our grass on the other side was exactly the same. The entire park was trashy. We’ll never be back.

Thanks for the feedback. We have sent maintenance out to clean the site right away. Unfortunately you were placed in a site that had snow pushed onto it all winter long, leaving trash behind when it melted. We are so sorry the site wasn't fully cleaned up. It had just been recently opened for use.
