Nice and quiet for a larger KOA. Lots of trees and shade. My favorite thing? The K9 Dog Wash self serve station offered to guests to keep the poochies smelling good. Perfect!!!!!

At Salt Lake, City KOA I had my concerns due to the neighborhood. I asked the cashier how safe it was camp there. She said everything is fine, however she would have the young security keep an eye on us. After I paid, I arrived to my site and felt immediately uncomfortable. My site was parallel to the busy street and homeless people were hanging out. We felt unsafe and left my site. I lost $50.

We stayed for 9 nights. The site was well shaded and easy to get into and out of. The staff was very friendly.

Paid for a Deluxe site. The pictures are not anything like what we got. We had dead grass and no shade. Also very stinky at times like sewer. Will not go back.

Campground is very nice and clean. But am disappointed that they don’t honor the free stay that is on the app for sept 10. Their answer was this is their busy season. Another disappointment is that we stayed 7 days and while at the pool we learned one of the other campers was offered a free night stay after 6 days. We have our rewards but can’t understand how another camper gets their 7 day fr

We starting staying at the SLC KOA last year during the pandemic. My husband has monthly appts/treatments at the Huntsman & U of U medical clinics & the staff at this KOA are always helpful in getting reservations & a site in the shade for us. My husband & I are so very thankful for the entire staff at the SLC KOA. The Potters

The park was fun to walk however, we were very disappointed that we could not get to the bridge and the stream. We were looking forward to enjoying the stream.

Very close sites, but that’s to be expected in the city. Campground staff were very friendly and helpful. Campground was very clean and well maintained. Great spot to stop and use as a homebase to explore the surroundings.

Great location to catch the tram to see and do tourist stuff. The only thing I would like to see would be trash cans under the doggie bag dispenser

I wasn’t happy with the condition of the cabin…it had not been cleaned well. I did a bunch of cleaning myself. After talking to the manager, she refunded 50% of my stay cost. I am willing to try again, and I hope things will be cleaned properly in 2022. The manager explained they were having trouble with keeping house cleaning workers. She apologized.

They won’t answer their phone and they have charged me 7 days stay when I was only there one night. Still trying to contact them for my credit!

There was a dog chained up at the site next to us for 16 hours a day. Your staff should have been calling the police.

I like the cleanliness of the campground. However, we camped next to people that smoked POT and left their dog unattended and pooped on our camp area. I went to bed at night smelling dog poop. I did bring it to the attention of the staff about the dog poop and she said she would send someone to clean it up. I had to say something the next 2 days because it was not taken care of.

The positive: Great big trees and green grass. The internet was solid most of the time we were at this park. The Negative: Lots of homeless taking a shortcut through this park. I watched a homeless person use the keypad to gain entry into one of the common bathrooms. The front desk personnel are just getting a pay check. They are pretty indifferent either way to you.

first spot was too small but that was immediately corrected. Coinvent to town, shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

We have stayed at Salt Lake City KOA in the past and love it each time we are there!!! Beautiful campground! Looking forward to our next visit!

We ariived to a very dirty site with trash all around. We have stayed at many KOA but would not recommend this one. AVOID

Very nice/clean campground, facilities and very friendly, helpful staff. Also, very conveniently located to highway and public transportation. A nice bonus as close to Utah State Fair. However, I would recommend a good cleaning of the pet playground. It was nicely done with artificial turf, but it definitely needs washed & cleaned on a regular basis, as it smelled awful. Would stay here again!

Salt Lake KOA was a great place! Sites accommodated our camper and truck! The amenities were great. It was kept very clean. Even the laundromat was spotless and had plenty of washers and dryers!! The store had so many items needed for a camper!!

Don’t let the city area scare you away. Once you’re in the park, you would think you were up in the mountains. The park is well maintained with lots of shade trees and wide sites. Only drawback, you’ll have to drive out a ways to neighboring cities if you go out for a meal, but that wouldn’t deter us from returning.

We (the dog and I) grabbed a tent site for the night, park is clean and well cared for, staff was friendly. Thank you.

Quick two day rest stop. Lots of lovely shady spots (which we did not get) and sites with fire pits with either nice patio furniture (which we did not get) or picnic tables. All was well, though, as we had our own chairs and even used our own propane fire pit instead of buying fire wood and using theirs. Friendly people and nice spa & pool. Recommend bike rides on weekend mornings to avoid traffic

We enjoyed the spot, cornhole game, the pool ball game. The balls weren't all there but played anyway. We had a very good time.

Facilities are great! Was trying to leave early and needed air and the staff told me that the air wouldn’t be turned on until 9 am! I explained the situation and was polite about it and it was a stern no and there was air down the road ended up going to three different fuel stations before we found air and it put us behind by almost an hour and a half. The phone service is horrible

The grounds were clean, the sites are small. Easy access to downtown SLC and freeways. Bathrooms were ok. I looked for the cleanest shower and showered around 5 :30 am so I might have a chance at a clean shower, but the shower I used had hair and the drain was clogged, so by the time I finished a quick shower, I was ankle-deep in shower water and someone else’s hair.

The campsite was very clean and the staff friendly, the location was close to the airport, but our site, I think it was 31 was so tiny! Other sites had little pads for the picnic table, but this one had a little tiny piece of grass on the edge of the row. It was too small to even open our awning to protect us from the hot sun. Too small! Nice clean pool though.

Staff are friendly and the park is shaded with trees which is wonderful. The location is fantastic, close to the airport and downtown. I'd recommend adding a/c to the restrooms and shower rooms. The only negative is the price, $80 a night.

We were there for the Doterra convention. Since we still needed to run our businesses we had back home WiFi was pretty important. Unfortunately, the WiFi went out at the park. They worked hard to get everything back up and running but unfortunately it did not happen before we left. Our cell service was not good either. But we would still stay here again. We like the park!!

Great campground. Easy on and off I-80. Loved our deluxe pull though site. Staff was more than super friendly and helpful. We will be back and plan to stay longer. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This campground is beautiful. So many things to do for families and kids. Nice grounds and tons of shady areas under very mature trees. We loved it so much we are going back next weekend! The only negative for us was our neighbors next door. They came back from the fair at midnight or 1 am every night and hung outside and talked loudly for a couple of hours. Woke us up every night.

Unfortunately we were there during a power outage, so hard to rate fairly. They were great about keeping us informed. The wifi could have been better.

One night stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The grounds are kept up. Love all the trees and we even had a fire pit which was great to sit out and roast some marshmallows. We were close to restaurants and Smith's stadium as well.

This is not a typical KOA ! It has permanent sites in the back , it is so crowded and lots are so close . Our end lot was so noisy from cars coming in at 12:00 at night yet going to the back . If you are looking for peace & quiet this is NOT the place . We could not wait to leave in the morning. Not a happy camper

Everything you imagined downtown SLC,UT to be. You gota pay to play with the upper class..do good food here.
