This KOA had everything that we needed. It is shaded, clean and the staff are knowledgeable and pleasant. Laundry was efficient and clean.. There is a Mexican food place and pizza place that also serves excellent salads within very easy walking, Sites are fairly close together but with very easy access. All the trees limit satellite reception. One of our favorites We will return here for sure!!!

a very large campground, nicely landscaped with mature trees, friendly front office staff, right on North Temple with light rail access to downtown

I love staying at the SLC KOA. Best part about ut has to be the friendly staff. Always helpful always accomodating. My only negative would be the hot water was out of order for the first two nights of my stay but the staff got it fixed up quiclky. Also, more active security to keep homelss folks out. I will be coming back At the end of this month for another stay in the Delux cabin.

Pretty park with all the leaves changing. Great dog park with dog wash but too cold to use. Nice sites.

It is a beautiful camp ground. The area is scary when you step out of the campground. With homeless camps close. pricey. It was strange to have the dog run/park completely covered with artificial grass. Making it hard to clean up after your pet, probably why many pet owners never cleaned up after their pets. Which bothers us who always do. The amount of leaves where horrible. too many everywhere.

Beautiful withh all the leaves. They let me move 2 spaces down to accommidate my sewer hook ups. It was a very nice stay.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING! This KOA is NOT SAFE, and anyone staying here should be aware that they have a major problem with theft, especially bikes. If you look at multiple review sites, you will quickly learn that bike theft happens weekly. Look at reviews on Goole and others for the real story!

The KOA's proximity to the U of U Medical is why we stayed. Everyone was as nice as you could ever ask for. Nico's Mexican on the corner was wonderful... My only comment would be, some of us have satellite dishes on the roof and like to use them. Staff did not know which spots were satellite friendly, and that is something that needs to be discovered and made available. Thanks -Mark

Thanks for the recommendation. We will work on informing all staff which sites work best for satellites, we have so much treee shade covering the campground sometimes it can be difficult to get a signal, and we recommended using your cable TV connection.

Clean, quiet, great amenities, paved sites with grassy area and table. Check in staff friendly & helpful, knowledgeable about the area and attractions. Once inside this beautiful campground, hard to remember it's in the middle of the city.

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Since we visited in the fall, all the trees were covered in KOA yellow leaves!! Fabulous, clean, and very kind and helpful staff. BUT..... that train whistle going off 5 times a night, blowing about 10 times each trip rather than the twice it blows during the day, was a real deal breaker for us. I wear ear plugs but it still woke me Every. Siingle. Time. :(

We checked in late, but we received an envelope with all the info we needed and everything went super smoothly. Bathrooms were clean and our tent site worked out perfectly.

The place is huge with mature trees at every site. I sat at my window and watched the fall leaves drop. We did not use the facilities but the KOA store has a nice selection.

Great location. Beautiful setting in the fall. Car wash and propane station on the property. Only drawback was the very poor wifi.

We came to Salt Lake to visit family for Halloween. The park in the fall is beautiful with its canopy of bright yellow trees. The park itself is welcoming and just a very nice place to stay.

The KOA, its self is very nice campground area, other than the homeless people everywhere and the people that dont stay in the park that come and go..Theft is high at this KOA so be sure to tie down and lock up anything of vaule that you dont want to walk off!! The office help is very rude and doesn't want to help you or accommodate you in anyway possible, if you need to change anything.

This park is well taken care of. The spaces are a decent distance from each other. The neighborhood around the park is pretty sketchy. The internet offered was really good on the Thursday we arrived but Friday and Saturday it was bad even though many people had left. I thought it would still be good. Overall though, it is a nice park.

I had two bicycles valued at over $5,000 stolen when thieves cut through my cable lock. I feel I should have been better warned about the poor neighborhood. I believe a fully secured campsite with gate is the only good solution.

Staff was so friendly. Park was clean. Kinda tight for our big rig but we were lucky to get an end spot. Because of that end spot our satellite was about to work. Park TV was just ok. We'll stop again.

Clean safe park. Appreciated the large trees shading the spaces and providing beautiful fall colors. Proximity to Trax a plus. Staff very helpful
