Big park! Very clean. There was no Wi Fi when we were there, but it was not the park’s problem. Very helpful staff.

Too many EARLY morning trains. There was a trailer in spot 814 that had 7 guys working somewhere. They constantly walked thru our spot to go to the bathrooms. Lots of homeless in the area.

No power, no WiFi even we booked the electric hookup tent site. No power in restrooms and no hot water. This is not we paid for. Manager sent me couple of “sorry for inconvenience messages” but not acceptable. It is their responsibility to provide what they are signed up for at any cost irrespective of issues they have.

Excellent location for a one night stay. Great hosts.

Not truly pet friendly. The dog run area was locked closed, the pet trail was locked closed, and they do not allow pet pens at your site so the only way our dog could get out of the trailer was to be on leash. No free run. We always check to see if a campground says “pet friendly” since when traveling, it’s important for our dog to be treated well and have space to run!

Too loud. Trains all night. People are ruid. They are talking all around you late at night and early in the morning. Not a place for R&R. But it is convenient to the airport.

Our fourth time staying and it was great, as usual. Good location and good dog area.

Enjoyed our stay, park is well run and staff very accommodating. Sketchy neighborhood and massive construction going on. Car wash next door is helpful with all the dust floating around. All things considered a great overnight location until the construction is complete and blocked street are eliminated.

It was very quiet and a clean campground.

It was fine for a overnight stay. Forgettable, which can be good or bad depending on your needs. A little train and toad noise.

Great stay except for power outage which lasted all day.

The only complaint is they had no one to tell parents that children with those swimsuit diapers should not be in the hot tub!!!

Enjoyed the paved RV pads. Enjoyed our walk around the Park. The staff were very pleasant and eager to assist us. We plan on a return visit on our way home.

Only challenge was the Wifi, seemed to drop off and have to be reestablished too often. Otherwise excellent site in all regards.

spots are tight, very helpful and friendly staff, how to get to for the Garmin GPs untis

Staff was helpful and friendly. Restrooms and showers clean and nice. Everything at the rv site worked well. good location.

The only problem with this KOA is it is located in a poorer section of town and you need to keep everything locked or things will be stolen from your site. For the 1st time in 4 years I had my bike stolen Otherwise facilities were very good.

Big friendly KOA would stay again when I'm down in Utah

The spot we were given at first was to small, then we asked for a longer space which they found for us which was great but they charged us more but did not tell us it was a extra charge.

When we got there at midnight someone had taken our spot but security helped get a new spot he was awesome! Vampground was great lots to do. Only downfall is the trains running all nignt.

Good place to stay but a bit crowded.
Sep 08, 2021
This campground is located in a not so nice area. Many homeless close by and trains. Very crowded and even though spaces are shaded they are very close. Dumpsters were overflowing. Doubt I would stay there again.

The campground was beautiful, with wonderful, mature trees and plenty of privacy. The playground and other play areas were well kept and diverse. My kids absolutely loved the arcade room. The pool was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the city noise. But if you want a campsite close to Salt Lake City, this is the place!

The park is heavily wooded so we had no Dish Network for the two night stay. The sites have patio/toad parking as well as blacktop RV lot. Each lot is a little different size and the park is actually divided into 3 or 4 areas and each a little different. A very nice park. The water pressure is very high and a new this year very high quality water hose sprung a leak. We were warned though

It was for 2 days and it was fine. Ample room, well designed, hook ups okay. Way too crowded to use the pool facilities due to covid precautions. Laundry heeded more washers and dryers that were in good repair. I have satellite on the roof and can not be used under the trees but some pads could be used for satellite users. Cable was provided, coach not set up for cable. Would stay again.

This park is not comparable to others I have stayed. It was basic and sites were not well kept. Electric panel was wonky. Just not a good smooth experience.
Sep 07, 2021
Too much water pressure, but good with regulator. Someone started a loud generator at 6 am. Other than that, it was fine
Sep 07, 2021
We enjoyed our stay, especially the fabulous shady trees.

The stay was ok, but I did not feel safe because of he area surrounding the KOA. It was run down with graffiti on the sidewalks. The lady who checked us in told us to lock up our bikes because they might be stolen. Putting a gate with a passcode would have helped .

Very noisy Saturday night. People outside until past midnight. I was surprised KOA staff didn’t stop them.

Great help from check -in staff. Thank you. Park was clean, hookups worked as they should.

It was only a night but was quiet and comfortable

Clean sites. Very friendly staff
Sep 06, 2021
Not much of a vacation campground more of a stopping spot because your tired of driving
Sep 06, 2021
Beautiful campground with lots of trees and greenery. Very close proximity to downtown Salt Lake City. My only complaint is the camp sites are very close to each other.

Loved using UTA to get to Temple Square. The lady in the office suggested it.. very clean restroom!! Loved our bust tour! Convenient to highway. A little PEDESTRIAN noise during the night

Nice location! Lots of trees to shade. Can be a little tight coming down rows and in the sights.
Sep 05, 2021
Very nice people in the office. Nice shaded site. Convenient to downtown Salt Lake City and The Great Salt Lake.
Sep 05, 2021
One off the nicest koa I have visited. Wooded facility with green grass between sites. Nice pool, laundry, and media center. Very convenient to airport for pickup or drop off. Staff friendly.

It had all the amenities, but I would not stay here again. The site I was at was good design, a little tight to get in but doable. My problems with the site were I had to pick up the used drug paraphernalia before I could setup. There were coke or meth straws with residue (dollar bill rolled up- tube etc). There was a good mix of people and the people I met were nice. I just got a weird vibe.

We read some not-so-great reviews (Yelp) about this location and were a bit concerned, HOWEVER, upon arrival, our concerns were unfounded. This is a great KOA, one of the most beautiful we've been in. The facilities are well maintained, our site was a pull-thru with ample room for our slideouts. While the sites are not gigantic, for an RV park located in a city, it's on par with others.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for choosing to stay with us.
