The restroom code was changed and we were NOT contacted with the new code. We were never in camp during office hours. We tried for 2 hours to call the KOA to get the new code, using the phone number given at check in, but the phone always went to a recording. No way to leave a message for a call back. Extremely Unprofessional Service

We stay here often, it feels like home. Although the park was quite full, we enjoyed our stay. The other campers were friendly and considerate. It was very quiet at night, considering all the people camping!

PROS * Very friendly Check-In Staff * Park is well-signed and easy to navigate * Bathroom is well-appointed. Best that I have seen! CONS * Close to Airport & Rail Lines (noisy) * Loud vehicles passing thru Park late at night & early in morning (maybe nomadic workers?)

Advertising that when traveling with a friend your sites will be together. Made reservations by phone not the internet in April 2021 for late September 2021 stay. The two sites not even close. The office response was because of the state fair. I did make reservations in April by phone?

We loved the sites ..they were close together but still not side by side . Loved the paved roads, the dog park was nice but it did smell since it was astroturf but the dogs liked it . The views of the mountains were nice . We had a great stay and would def stay again if in Salt Lake City

Registration staff was borderline rude. Even rolled her eyes at me as I waited for her to acknowledge me when I walked up (she had her eyes on her computer screen, so I waited for her to finish before saying anything). Space was fine for an overnight. It said ours was a fire site, but we had no chairs. If passing through SLC again I’d probably stay, but not for more than one night.

This was a return visit for us and the campground did not disappoint. Easy in/out. We were in SLC on business, and the front office team was friendly and helpful, and our space was well kept. The amenities were well cared for and the park was very clean. The first night there was a monster truck rally nearby which was quite noisy but obviously not the fault of the park. We highly recommend.

Friendly staff at check in. Campground was a little to noisy (urban noise) for my personal taste. Also really sad they had to lock the back gate to the hiking paths due to the homeless problem along the river. Without that path there simply were not to many places within the park to walk the dog.

The campground surprised me considering the reputation the area of the city has. The KOA Staff was very helpful and willing work with us. The maintenance even helped me adjusting my antenna, so I can get it lowered. The bathrooms up by the office really needed attention though. It was always dirty when I would go in. Infact, the bathrooms in the rear of the lot were always clean are a bit larger

The site we had (71)was right on the road inside the campground and we heard trucks going by a lot. It’s a very small site and we had to park our truck in a parking spot pretty far from our campsite. I was not told that when I called for a spot. I only learned that when I read the email from KOA. Not the best KOA

Great location in SALT LAKE CITY. Very nice campground, had a great stay.Will come back here again.

Very large park with beautiful large shade trees throughout. Every staff member we came in contact with was very friendly and helpful. Light rail stop to Temple Square is a short walk from park. We would definitely stay here again.

Grass areas absent between sites Why they dont have tough playground sod Instead dusty dead grass uneven surfaces

Sorry, Utah was in extreme drought this year and our grass had a very rough year. With normal rain our sites normally have a great grass yard.

The only issue was the shower stalls didn’t drain well snd water eeked into the dressing area.

I stayed at the tent site. I would recommend to cover the muddy and dust areas covering with graves like many other KOAs.

Very large campground. Wish someone would have parked us! Some of the turns to leave were VERY tight! Big rigs sitting right on corners! Twice had to have the wife get out and watch the sides of our unit so we didn’t hit the parked rigs mirrors! Streets could be wider. We have been RVing for over 20 years, so we are not newbies and don’t know how to drive!

We spent two nights at the SLC KOA. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is treed with clean restrooms. We did not use the pool or hot tub but many others did. My reason for only giving four stars is that our picnic table area was dirty and the location was in the city so it is filled with city noises; traffic, sirens, trains. There is a convenience to being so close the city.

Looks like a tight, crowded RV park RV k but it’s not at all. Very nice. Easy in and out. Nice park for our dogs. Neighbors sewer was too close to our picnic table but we didn’t spend a lot of time outside. We would definitely stay here again. We were in a 42ft fifth wheel.

Very noisy with lots of traffic. Tent site was very small and only about 8 feet from a busy roadway. Not worth the $60 dollars a night

It’s very clean and close to everything. But the downfall is that the campers/RVs are lined up like sardines. There is nowhere to sit without a vehicle or the sewer hook up within reach.

Frankly we were disappointed with our spot, 916, since we had always stayed in spots 45-90 where we enjoyed level spots with concrete pads and not basically weeds with dog crap everywhere. I know RVers have dogs but a lot of them have little regards for controlling them but interestingly in your guidelines in bold red print you state NO PET FENCES, yet there were several that we saw! Not happy

Stayed in my camper van for 2 nights on quick business trip. Very clean spot and spotless restrooms. Lots of train horns throughout the night but not a big deal. See you again soon

Campsite next to us had a big trailer that housed 10 to 12 workers from some fair or carnival. Noise all night, garbage thrown outside ( a half eaten burrito). More than 8 people on this site. Isn’t that against the rules? Stay was not worth the price

More like the Bonneville Speedway KOA. We were on the main isle and it was ridiculous how fast vehicles drove. It was distracting to say the least. It really needs to have some more security as well. People literally walk in from the streets.

So many great amenities and really close to everything including public transport which looked great! Noise from the fair park because of concerts but it was over by 9:30-ish pm so no biggie. Especially liked the dog park with wash area. Nice big laundry with plenty of machines.

I am really frustrated. First, the staff tried to have me leave a day early compared to my online reservation. I waited in the office for nearly 40 minutes while they tried to determine what had happened. One of my nights had been switched to a HOLD. I did not do this. Then they overcharged me for an additional night after all that and no one will call me back.

The SLC KOA was nice, and easy to access, facilities were clean and routinely maintained. The sites were close together, but quiet for the size of the campground. We would stay at this KOA in the future.

Everything you imagined downtown SLC,UT to be. You gota pay to play with the upper class..do good food here.
