Clean, friendly, accommodating. Great place to stay especially if you have teens or younger children. Plenty of activities for all even if you just want to sit and stare at a campfire!! Jennifer and the rest of the weekend staff were amazing!!!

Great amenities, 2 pools, 2 dog parks, campstore, plenty of bathhouses, gated with security. Staff is very friendly and activities scheduled. The seasonal campers are very friendly. Bonus very close to Cedar Point, Sandusky Mall, and other activities

1st time staying there for a rainy weekend that was supposed to be filled with roller-coasters but instead ended up mostly relaxing at the campground. Very enjoyable. Definitely will be back.

Very nice, but we stayed when facilities were either closed or unavailable due to the seasonal change. Hard to give a top rating at thie time of year, but the personnel were very pleasant and willing to serve.

The campground is okay. We as seasonal campers got our spot and have kept it. This coming year looks like it is going to be hard to find any available campsites, so if you have something available hold on to it. I would like more communication from the camp operators, for an example availabilly of moving to a different campsite, or making more and different campsites for seasonal campers.

Alex, Jennifer and entire team were wonderful. Great location on Lake Erie and almost next door to Cedar Point. Very family oriented and friendly.

I've been staying at Sandusky Bayshore for over 20 years and have always been treated professionally and with courtesy. All of their staff have been 100% invested in making my camping there as pleasant as possible. I have recommended them many times and purchased gift certificates for my friends to stay there.

A bit more patience with new seasonal campers and inquiries into price increases would probably be a good idea. Me personally though, I love it here!

We arrived late on a Friday, check in and booking a cabin over the phone we're effortless, and left on a Sunday. In between that time me and my kids had a great time. Cabin was a decent size and very clean and comfy. The fire ring and little patio out back was so nice and relaxing. Everyone from the security guard to the store workers were awesome. Lots to do for kids. Highly recommend.

It was awesome. My grandkids loved the crafts and jump pillow and trick or treating. I enjoyed passing out candy.

We were in the family circle of cabins/cottages. The first night or neighbors were up until at least 12am playing music, drinking & being loud. I let it go as it wasn't too far past quiet hours. The second night, they started again with the music & all at 9p, woke myself and my family at 1:30a & didn't stop until 3a. Even after trying to call the night line for security, no one came. Disappointed

We rented a "3 bedroom cabin park model". THESE ARE NOT 3 BEDROOMS. HUSBAND AND SON ARE 6'3" TALL. Neither fit in the bunk style beds. Husband slept in bedroom #3. Son slept on futon, which was missing screws, had to put stuff under it, to even open it up. Neither of them got much sleep, so I did not either! NOT WORTH THE MONEY THAT WE PAID AT ALL!

Definitely five stars. Campground was immaculate. Very clean shower houses restrooms. Employees on the golf carts were very helpful and Nathan at the reservation desk was very Pleasant and answered all our questions. The park was set up for all the Halloween activities. We left the day before the zombie shoot which looked very interesting. We will be back. Thanks KOA for the great Experience

We stayed here last week during their Halloween Days. We absolutely lived our location Site 101 Deluxe Back In..It had a concrete pad with firepit, along with some patio furniture..The bathrooms were right beside us and the showers were clean and hot. We can't wait to make reservations for next year.

Very nice campground! Had a little mixup with our campsite, but the staff was understanding and took care of the situation to our satisfaction. Camping staff very friendly and helpful. Bathroom and showers were clean, activities were fun. We will be returning next season.

Exactly as described, sites are small but arranged well.Great for kids under 12 at the playground & pillow but plenty for older kids and adults. We went for Halloween weekends so I can only imagine what summer would be like with the pool and kayaks.Great store! Little extra touches with table umbrellas and swings on the patios are nice. The fire pits are amazing! We definitely want to come back

Camping area was great and a lot of fun. We were very unhappy with the cabin though. The bathroom was filthy, it needs a new toilet seat. They are not that much money to replace, the floors and corners of the cabin were dirty. Crud on kitchen faucet and counters that were not scrubbed.

We stay here every year and love it. The staff is always amazing and you cant beat the price compared to staying at Cedar Point (The main reason we are in the area) . The Campground is always clean and well kept! I had a Cabin and A Campsite this trip and the Cabin was real nice, clean and had plenty of room compared to others we have stayed at!

KOA is wonderful! Cant say enough nice things. Our family KOA'd from Michigan to kansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, New Orleans Tennessee back home! They were all wonderful and clean. Each one has something unique! This particular KOA I have stayed at for 30 years. So duh..... I like it alot! :)

We were there for my daughter's 13th birthday. Nice cabin but a little on the small side for 8 people. We wish there was more activities to do for a Halloween weekend. We really wanted to do the zombie paintball or archery. All there was was jumping pillow and a couple crafts. Pleasant staff members though.

Loved the campsite with the table and chairs, firepit and patio. The kids really enjoyed all the activities, especially the jump pillow and trick or treating. Everyone was so friendly. Loved the bay view & little hiking trail which I enjoyed with my coffee in the morning. The only downside which you do warn about is the train, we just couldn't get sleep. Looking forward to coming back next summer!

I stayed in a cabin the weekend of October 22nd(pm205) The place was dirty and dusty. The futon(which is considered to be a bed to sleep 2, the cushion was sold old and worn it was like sleeping on straight wood! The bed in the main room, the mattress was dang near on the floor cuz it didn’t fit the frame. Tv fuzzy and hair in blankets. With the price I paid, thought it would be taken care of!!

We were in tents. The tent pads worked well. Bathroom was very clean. Note, the new fire pits are right next to/adjoining the tent pad. That makes the fire/sparks very close to your meltable/burnable tents. Dangerous and inconvenient.

We stayed in a Rustic Cabin, which means it has electricity & air conditioning, but no water, bathroom, or heating. Personally I found it to be a great colder-weather option, when compared to other primitive options, such as tent camping. The cabin was certainly warmer than the outdoors, and in my sleeping bag I was quite warm. I'd definitely consider this option again for future fall camping.

This was my second time staying there for our annual cedar point trip and KOA will forever be part of that trip from now on! The staff is so very friendly and helpful. The cabin was very clean and just as described.

Last minute booking, receptionist was very accommodating and professional, the rustic cabin was extremely clean and very comfortable. I was very impressed with the campfire area as it was comfortable and adequately large enough for the best campfire! Only negative was the cleanliness of the bathrooms, I would rate that a 3.5 out of 5!
