Paid for premium site and were right next to the dumpsters and overflow parking. Trains tracks were also right next door and the trains ran constantly and the train whistle when on all night.

70 buck a night for a tiny spot and no picnic table… seems like a rip off. The place was real crowded. It was close to the water/swamp, and a train ran right by the camp. When I was quoted the price I thought well it will be a nice place…. The showers were hot, and bathroom picked up. Would not stay again.

We come there every summer. We love it! It's clean and has alot of activities. All of the people working are so nice and friendly!!

So good that we stayed an extra day. Quiet time after 11pm could have been enforced better. Will definitely be back.

Other than the rude campers staying there and the WET fire wood sold there it was good. We paid $7 x 2 bundles for wood that smoked instead of burning.

I came with my extended family for several nights. We had an RV, as well as several tent campers. We LOVED the Sandusky/Bayshore KOA. The grounds were clean and well-kept. The staff and long-term campers were all very friendly and helpful, and the bath houses and facilities were well-maintained. Thanks so much for a great time. We'll be back next year!

Very nice place. Lots to do for the kids. The only thing was the train that blows its horn at 5:00 am and throughout the day.

We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe site that had a nice concrete stamped pad long enough for our camper. The site had a nice table with an umbrella and a rocking bench as well. The only drawbacks were the sites were really close on this row where our dinette slide came right up to the site deck behind us and we were right across from one of the two pools where the light stayed on until 11 pm.

Spaces were crowded, bathrooms were outdated and not clean. Park was crowded with so many people at sites and cabins. As many as 10 people were at the site behind us and they were loud beyond the 11:00 PM quiet time. The patios were almost touching each other with no privacy between them. We did not sit outside due to the over crowding of people all around. Not worth the premium we paid.

We chose this site because of the pull through for big rigs as well as the proximity to Cedar Point for the grandkids. Very accommodating. Very friendly. Good kid activities we enjoyed walking the grounds and sitting on the shore of the bay. Disappointed in lack of transportation to/from amusement park.

Here's the deal. Your campsites are so close together you can't breath! You can't do anything at your site besides sit at a table. There's no room to move around, play cornhole, etc. Even the firepit's are too close to the camper and vehicles. You need more trees and shade. The raised wooden decks are a safety hazard. You have to be constantly vigilante about moving around.

Nothing like I remember it a few years ago. To crammed in and another family member after a one night stay was told they had to move because they put them in the wrong spot only to have the next family pull in and leave the following morning. Plus there is no shelter or pavilion for family reunions/dinner. I did however like the patios.

We loved the bay views at this campground! Cement sites with nice patio sets and swing seats. The staff was very friendly. The bathrooms were a little iffy. No paper towels 2 days in a row and the floors were littered with little pieces of toilet paper. The TP was so thin it wouldn't pull off the rolls. Hot showers though. Nice pool. Gated and safe feeling for the family.

We had a great stay. Your staff is friendly and helpful, and the park was very clean. The camp store is well stocked which is great should you forget anything.

Staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. Campsite was clean, loved the patio. Only thing that was disappointing was how expensive all of the extra stuff is. When bringing a big family, the kids want to do it all. The peddle carts, paint ball, canoes…I was hoping that would be a more reasonable price.

We actually didn't use any of the amenities (except the shower house), because we were out running around so much, but they have a lot to offer. Very clean, super nice pads for the campers. Just a very nice place to stay.

This campground is definitely not for senior citizens. We stayed here one night as we were traveling east. Our site was across from the pool and playground. It was very noisy until quiet time at 11:00 If you are camping with children or grandchildren, the site would be close to their activities. We booked the reservation online (at double the rate of most KOAs). Will not stay here again!

Bathhouse could have been *much* cleaner. The one pool was basically green… Wish we would have known about the regular freight trains passing by but otherwise it was a nice stay. Probably would stay again.

Pools seemed dirty even 1st thing in the morning. Schedule for activities would have been useful not just being told that it was on facebook. There was nothing posted about when you could do gem mining or how to get stuff for other activities.

Our camper barely fit in our site even tho it said good for 30’ but the site was nice. A little mud between sites where folks pulled out after rain…, needed some gravel there! Very nice patio! Very convenient to Cedar Point. Pools were well maintained.

Clean facilities. Loved the stamped concrete patio. Need more gravel at sites. Pave the entrance. Hard on RV’s. First time we were not led in by someone. Noticed some campers going around more than once, like they couldn’t figure out where to go.

Very friendly staff. Check in went smooth. Site was level, but a bit short. Very clean. Two pools, one heated, are well maintained and clean. Very close to Cedar Point. Would stay again.

Wonderful RV campsite. Very clean and well taken care of. Staff very friendly and loved our patio site. One suggestion......maybe a few evergreen bushes 3-4ft high, between sites might add a little privacy when eating outside or around the campfire time. Pools wonderfully clean. Great place to stay and thank you!

We only spent a few hours at the campground since we were at cedar point during the day but we had zero issues. We’ve been staying here the last few years and haven’t ever had any problems. Everyone is friendly and there’s never been any problems with noise during quiet hours.

If you don’t mind kids driving carts faster than speed limit, showers that smell of dead fish, laundry facilities that aren’t working, campers that have no respect for others then this is the KOA for you. Security doesn’t feel need to tell other campers their music or themselves are being disruptive to others and could they please tone it down. We would not stay here again.

This could easily be a 5 star but it just has way too many sites with not much space between campers. They are right next to the sports center so if your kids are in baseball, this would be a place to stay

The pools were great. We had a deluxe site with a pad, luckily, because there was a lot of rain, and drainage wasnt great. The bathrooms were pretty bad, perhaps the worst of a KOA we've stayed at from that perspective - been in vaulted toilets that smelled better. Given that it's next to Cedar Point and a large sports complex - there were a TON of kids - probably why the bathrooms were a disaster

The campground was a blast for our 4 & 6 yr old granddaughters however I feared for their safety and I am torn whether to ever return. There were several teenagers that several people complained about their behavior ,repeated f-word after being asked nicely to cool it around young kids, multiple fist fights, one kid was really hurt, rough housing by same teens in the pool , awesome and disappoin

I did not have the plug to connect to power, the main office had the needed plug and lent it to me saving the night! Thank you so much. One item I feel needs reviewed is the lack of garbage dumpsters so we could put our garbage in, and marked on the map. I felt strange putting my garbage infront of the campsite in the morning, its such a nice place. Great job for a clean nice place! A+
