The managers were great. I had a cabin without bath which I have done at other KOAs but this one i had no idea how hilly the campground was so my cabin was down in a cold gully with a lot of unlit stairs to traverse at night and the bathroom was freezing cold. Bathrooms had No code number entrance so i felt unsafe to take a shower. The entrance paper said there was a code but there was not any p

The campground was beautiful, clean and I love the way the sites are spread out. The hosts were amazing! So friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was fun.

The campground is clean and the staff friendly. They went out of their way to help our woman’s group set up a mini concert bringing heaters and helped us set up sound. I give them a big thumbs up.

We had a large gaggle of ladies out for several days and rented a bunch of cabins. February was a glorious month to come and go hiking around. Horse Back Riding and Ziplining are great options nearby too. The cabins are clean and so homey. They have everything you need and plenty of space for serveal bodies. The lofts where most twins mattresses are, are short and the stairs narrow for any older

We enjoyed our stay. All the staff were friendly, wonderful, and accommodating. The kids had a lot of fun as well. We hope the pool will be open by May.

Awesome experience. Very easy check in and check out. Our deluxe cabin was perfect, clean and had more than what was needed. So nice to have several accommodations with silverware, pots and pans, coffee maker etc.

Although the internet went down still most campsites don’t offer any streaming internet so I must say it was refreshing to see the commitment to giving the visitors something.

stayed as a pitstop on the way to the desert, campground staff super friendly and helpful. we had a change in plans due to family illness and the staff were very accommodating and helpful, which took some of the stress off the situation. We will be back with our grand daughter, this KOA has lots of fun things for families including a giant Pillow for bouncing, (sort of like a trampoline, HUGE!

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very nice, comfortable and clean. The grounds were well kept. The jumping pillow was a blast and we loved visiting Kevin the Emu. We were very close to the lake and did some sightseeing and fishing. We will definitely be back and have already recommended it to others. Thank you for making our family vacation so fun.

Everyone was very friendly. I found the bathhouses to be very inconveniently located. They were very hard to get to for someone with bad knees.

The staff was very friendly and the property was well maintained. Even though it was rainy for most of our stay the facilities were all usable including the bouncer for the grandkids.

I appreciated the friendliness of the staff, and really liked the New Year's Party for the children in the Fun Yurt! That was excellent and my grandson really enjoyed it. Thanks! I did not like the lack of phone service which I ever had at my site, #26. The Internet signal was iffy at best. No cable hookup. Very noisy neighbors at 1:30 AM and no one from the campground policing it. Boo!

This KOA has been our home-away-from-home for over 30 years. Stress levels go down 10 notches as soon as we hit Santa Margarita.

The campground was a nice place however, when I made the reservation I asked about the roads and camp spots due to the rain and I have a 2 wheel drive truck . I was told there would not be a problem due to everything having DG or RED ROCK everywhere I would be driving . Not the case had a tough time getting my trailer into the space because I was in mud , camp spot was mud .

Roads in the campground need to be improved. Bathroom/shower needs updating. Fire rings at each campsite are placed next to the adjoining sites septic hookup. Consequently, no desire to sit outside around fire to visit. Need to move the fire rings for better enjoyment.

Pleasant and peaceful. Was greeted by the staff. Cabin was warm and cozy, the Christmas lights on the cabin added a nice touch for the holidays!

We stayed in the winter for Christmas. Cabins were very comfortable and warm. The views of the hills were incredible and green, and they had activities for the children on Christmas eve. I also loved that we could have our dog in the rustic cabin.

By far the best part of my stay was hosts Lisa and Wolf. What a delightful couple! They were friendly, helpful and kind. Answered questions, fixed problems, made sure my new motorhome was connected properly and even helped me as I got ready to leave. Being a 70 year old single newbie didn’t bother them a bit! Someone should give them a raise.

Campground is beautiful. Lots of trees and greenery. We were there during a major rainstorm, which posed some challenges, but staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our kids enjoyed Kevin the emu and the special Christmas activity in the party yurt. We’d love to come back in the summertime to enjoy all of the amenities with some sunshine!

Thank you so much for the stay! Cabins were awesome, the grounds looked SO GREAT with the lights and the tree!! My girlfriend and I had a blast, and we went zip lining in the SM Adventures which was just a skip away from the campground so everything was perfect, 13/10 would recommend, thank you all have a wonderful holiday!!!

Had a great stay. Was upgraded unexpectedly to a better RV site, we loved it. This was our first trip out with our new RV and your grounds are great, easy access.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this KOA. We traveled with a group of five families, and the owners set us all up next to one another, even the last-minute group that joined the evening before. The campground was quiet and every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. I imagine it gets very busy during the summer months, but our winter stay was just what we all needed. We'll be back.

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
