Lovely place! Although power and internet (for cell service -safety issue) was not 100% that was the only downside. Staff was remarkable- I will say Lisa is absolutely lovely at check-in. She made me laugh and although she was at lunch, she still stepped in and checked me in. Super nice of her. I appreciate that! She even got all my paperwork ready, and remembered me. :)

We had a great stay with family & friends. Everything was great except the "No campfire". We thought we had an acceptable alternative but one of the guys in the truck made us not use it. We had a 6 inch candle down in our fire pit. No embers at all. He was a BIG bummer

The staff, Tracey, Vincent, Lisa and Daisy were exceptional. They did a stellar job of making me feel welcome, and attending to my every need. I will, definitely, come back. it was one of the best camping experiences I have had!

Refrigerator thermometer did not work properly and froze our food. Parking was dangerous up hill and outside bathrooms were locked. Could not take tour of Koa park and enjoy the sites without someone having an accident in their pants because they could not reach cabin in time for bathroom use.

It was wonderful! The cabins and the restrooms were clean and kept up very nicely. The staff was all very friendly and helpful.

Had a beautiful stay, due to smoke from the Central Ca Fires there was no campfires allowed ( not any fault of the KOA ) otherwise perfect time. We stayed on a cabin, met all expectations, very roomy and clean, Most items needed are included for indoor kitchen use. We are planning our next visit in a few months

The staff are friendly and welcoming, and setting is beautiful. Even though it was the end of swimming season, the pool was clean and well kept. One of the nicest koa campgrounds we have vusited

We stayed in a deluxe cabin with our two children. It’s a beautiful setting. The cabins are are great glamping option for families. Fun outdoor activities in the camp ground. Our kids loved the jump pillow, Kevin the Emu, and the gnome village. We always see wildlife There are all Sorts of different options for different kinds of campers. Thank he camp store is also pretty well stocked.

I rented a cabin vs staying in a tent for the first time, and it was not a bad way to stay. i Like the cabin as an option, but i think I will stay with the tent for the value aspect of the stay. I was on a motorcycle trip. JR

Cabin 84 was in an awesome location! The staff was cordial & friendly & always available. All roads are unpaved dirt & steep or winding if that is an issue for you, but they seemed well maintained. Unbelievably beautiful starry nights!

Lots of fun. Loved the kids activities. Only improvements would be possibly updating bathroom tiling. Loose gravel on paths leading to the higher campsites led to some falls.

We had the best time. The cabin was perfect for our first time camping with the baby. The staff was super friendly and we will be back!

Stayed in a yurt and a cabin, and they both were great! Spacious, clean and equipped with basics. Lots of activities and recreational options- my kids loved them. Only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was how packed each site is from others.

Great family fun! Loved the grounds, Kevin the Emu was a hit, the store had a lot to offer and overall had a great time.

The camp site was very clean. Our cabin was clean and very quaint. The staff was friendly. Check in was fast and easy. My kids loved the, pool, jumping pillow and all the exploring they were able to do. we will definitely be coming back in the future.

We were a group of 9 families that took 9 camping cabins. Had a great time there! Kids had lots of fun too at Jumping Pillow and movie night!!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights so we could spend a couple of days on the lake, fishing. We arrived late for check-in, so our key was hanging outside the office for us. Much to our surprise, we had been upgraded from a studio cabin to a large two bedroom with a full kitchen. The AC was on (which was great as it was 100 degrees out) and the cabin was beautiful and clean.

First time we have stayed and used the cabins...loved it. Theo only complaint is the bathrooms aren't kept up and they run out of paper towels quite often.

Cabin 85 was THE BEST. My family loved everything about this campground, barring unreliable wifi. ;) It was our first time at a KOA site, but it won’t be the last. Thanks for a great time.

We always have a great time at SMK. We had issues with the toilet and the HVAC but luckily they have attentive staff at this location. See you guys next year!

We had the cabin #3 cool by the pool. It’s nice and secluded from the rest of the campsite. Had a great time definitely come in the weekends lots of activities for the family.

Very friendly staff. The pool is not huge but still lots of fun and a lot of space to sit by the pool with shade. A little behind schedule with the activities but worked out in the end. You definitely will not get bored here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing Camping. A lot of to do with kids. So nice swimming pool and Zip Line area. I am recommend this a special at the week days!

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
