Cabin was very clean as well as the bathrooms. It was nice to have a private fire ring and be able to purchase wood at your store. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and feeding Kevin. It was a short drive to the FREE Atascadero Lake Park where the boys fished and children got to swing.

Great place and all the staff were 100% polite and friendly. Bathrooms were very clean and the site was very clean and organized.

Deluxe cabin was spotless and had all the amenities. The KOA host & hostess were friendly and helpful. Wonderful play areas & setting for families.

This KOA Santa Margarita is number favorite of mine and my husband as well. Definitely will be back soon and btw, this is our 5th time here at KOA Santa Margarita. I love the place, the staff are very friendly and accommodating specially the owner Karen. See you again.

It was a very relaxing stay. KOA SM is very friendly and courteous. Check in and check out was very smooth. Bathroom and shower is very clean. Although no available paper seat covers for the commode. But other than that excellent stay. Will definitely vome back.

This was our second stay at Santa Margarita KOA. This time we lodged in a yurt for three nights and had a great time. This KOA was clean and tidy as usual and the front office staff was top-notch. We will return for stay #3 in the future. Thanks, KOA!

Was good.Just wish they would put the light on the pool has I motion light like the one around the corner from that light.could not see the stars very will because of the light. sleep was interrupted because of the light.the people in the store where very nice and helpful.just don't drink the tap water.everyone one got a little sick from the water including the dogs had a yellow tint to it

Everything was just perfect. Everything was so organized and thoughtfully kept, it was hard to believe we were staying in a KOA.. kids just loved the loft..highly recommended

We had a great stay. The only complaint I have is that the picnic table was in disrepair. The finish on the table was flaking off.

This is a beautiful camp ground with lots to do, and it is only 1/2 mile from lake Santa Margarita where you can find several hikes, good fishing, and more wonderful nature!

This was the best time my family and friends have had for spring break We have tried several times to make reservations with you all but we could never get in Our grandkids had the best time around the camp ground and riding their bikes to the lake to fish Everyone was so nice and helpful Will definilty be back Great memories were made Thank you

We did "glamping" by staying in a deluxe cabin in March 2021. Beautiful time of year, but a little cold. Loved taking walks around the campground. Kids and adults liked disc golfing, basketball, feeding the emu, beanbag toss, jumping pillow, campfires, and grilling. Staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. Roads could use some repair but everything else was very clean and well-maintained.

Love this campground! Pretty grounds, very well maintained, staff was very nice and super helpful. The kids had hours of fun on the jumping pillow! The sites were big, also had family in a cabin which was very clean, bathrooms kept clean, and Kevin the Emu is just spectacular! Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer. We will be coming back soon since we live so close. Everything was clean and as advertised.

Staying in the camp cabin with my son was exactly the reset we needed. Everything was simple and clean, we stayed weekdays which weren’t crowded, staff was always friendly and helpful! So happy, and will definitely come back again!!

The Owner took care of us on a holiday weekend after hours after we had last minute issues with our hotel reservations. Both the cabin and the property were immaculate. Definitely staying here again when we are in town in the future.

The location was great, the people were very nice, the cabin was nice but the beds were extremely uncomfortable so it made it difficult to sleep and enjoy ourselves.

Amazing Camping. A lot of to do with kids. So nice swimming pool and Zip Line area. I am recommend this a special at the week days!

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
