Very clean, the cabins were warm and toasty with heaters before we arrived which was the end of December, the restrooms were also very clean with a bottle of Lysol for extra spritzing around, the staff was very helpful, i would definitely come again and look forward to renting another cabin in the future. �����

I love this place! Always so clean and comfy. The cabins are my favorite. I cannot wait to stay in a yurt the next time. You guys are awesome! We will be coming back soon! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

Loved the campground. Very clean and well kept. We enjoyed our cabin and loved hiking around the campground - even meeting Kevin the Emu!

Cabin was in perfect location. We arrived late and it was cold but they turned the heater on low so when we entered it was nice and cozy. Michelle in the camp store is absolutely awesome and friendly. We will be back!

Cabin was comfortable and kitchen was stocked with basic utensils. Beds were comfortable. Grounds throughout camp were maintained and well marked. Staff friendly. Small store had basic needs/wants. Checkin and out was easy. Kids play area was large, and multiple families easily used same area. One downside: store staff was unable to register me for another stay. Was recommended to do so online.

I love the Santa Margarita KOA. It is one of the more relaxing campgrounds, quiet, beautiful, and clean. I always feel rejuvenated after a stay there.

I always love this KOA they always make us feel like we are home. Always helpful. The cabins are always clean. The whole place is super clean. It’s just wonderful we will be coming back hopefully more than once a year!

It was very clean and neat. I loved our cabin that it was far from other cabin. The employee(Sorry! I forgot her name) who we met when we check in was so kind and nice.

We arrived late, in the dark, after having a tire blow-out on HWY 58...no big. Our instructions were on the after-hours board...directions to our site were perfect...the next 2 and 1/2 days were absolutely great. This campground was so top-notch and clean...facilities were outstanding...our site was shade city and comfortable. Kim is a great host/a special thx to Carson from AAA Atascadero!

Family birthday celebration. Our family members, 4 sets 10 people, stayed in 4 cabins all grouped by one other. Hiking, walking, mountain biking and kayaking were our daily activities followed by group dinners and then the Crème de la crème sitting around the campfire telling family stories, jokes and the joy of being together. After the last 8 months this was so needed and appreciated. Thanks K

It was wonderful, we didn't want to leave! Everything was well kept, clean, quiet, organized. There was always an employee around if you needed anything. We had a Kabin, and it looked almost brand new inside. We made use of almost every amenity in the Kabin. We wondered through the campground a couple of times and even all the campers were friendly! We will be back!

I was very impressed with the two friendly lovely ladies who greeted us as we registered in. The rooms were very clean as well as the restrooms. Yes, I would come back and I would recommend my friends and other family members too. Thank you :)

There was several of my Family members that met at the KOA campgrounds approxmately 30 of us and we enjoyed every second of our stay, including bringing our boats to fish for two days, we will definitely add this camping experience to our DNA every year, the personnel there were very accommodating and took the time to learn our names Outstanding!!!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Cabin 3 is very nice and everything worked nicely (comfy beds, open floor plan, nice lighting). We rode our bikes to the Lake and around the dirt path around the Frisbee golf course. We like cooking while “Glamping,” so the 2-burner electric stove was smaller than expected but we made it work.

The location is very clean as well as the restrooms and showers. The campsites to tent are large. However, the RV campsites are compact. The staff are very friendly. Great place for the children to have fun!

Cabins were great and clean. Pool needs updating and unfortunately there was no movie night which was told to us they still were doing it but unfortunately people must have complained due to COVID.

Stayed in cabin 80, they have thought of everything for the kitchen! Our family really enjoyed our stay and the turkeys in the morning were fun to watch!

It was perfect! Friendly staff, great location and the cabin was a dream. Trust me you're still camping even in a deluxe cabin with a bathroom! Thank you KOA for making our first camping trip memorable and for helping me relax. We will be back again and again. Oh, and our dog loved it! Literally couldn't get him into the truck when it was time to leave.

The staff was accommodating and very friendly! The park was fun , there was lots of fun things to do with my kids! The cabin we stayed in was amazing clean and comfortable! 10 out of 10

Amazing Camping. A lot of to do with kids. So nice swimming pool and Zip Line area. I am recommend this a special at the week days!

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
